The Truth About Infrared Saunas and Candida

Many people are confused about infrared saunas and Candida and how they relate. They may be surprised when they realize the truth about infrared saunas and Candida.

The first thing one must know is that Candida thrives in warm, moist, dark places. This is why the genitalia are one of the biggest places for a yeast infection to break out. This is also true for why Candida lives and starts to grow from the big intestine.

Infrared saunas can actually cause Candida to thrive even more as they have two major ingredients for the fungus to grow and thrive. They are hot, and they are wet. They cause your body to sweat, and many saunas use steam as a source of the heat. The combination of these two forces can mean big trouble for anyone trying to get rid of an infection.

Your best bet is to completely avoid using hot tubs, saunas, and anything else that combines heat and moisture. Infrared saunas and Candida do not go well together. Especially if you already are in the process of an outbreak. This will only cause the infection to spread and grow more easily.

I know that infrared saunas use infrared light in order to create the heat and the relaxing mood. The problem again is that it causes your body to sweat which again is moisture. It is a step up from steam saunas, however, it still doesn’t fix the problem of warmth and moisture.

Preferably, you will want to completely cut out your use of an infrared sauna. If this is not possible for you, try to cut back to no more than once every two weeks. If this is not possible, you will especially want to make sure you are extremely aware of your diet and that you are taking in more than enough of the right types of foods to counter the use of the sauna.
