The Best Branding Strategy – Make a Real Connection

What is it that makes some brands connect so well with their audiences? We could learn something about building brands for organizations by also asking, What is it that makes some people connect so well with other people? In many ways, organizations are like individuals. Each has its own specific “fingerprint” — strengths, character, and personality — that makes it unique and recognizable. It’s how we get to know our friends and understand what it is about them that we like. In a world where no one has time to carefully weigh all available brand options, this fingerprint acts as shorthand to help us sort through the maze, a very real point of value at a time when it is increasingly difficult to tell one product or service from another. When an organization’s brand fingerprint is clearly defined and articulated so that customers, shareholders, distributors, employees, and partners consistently feel they “know” the organization and know what to expect from it, magic happens.

This is when high emotional engagement occurs. This is when “raving fans” and customer loyalty are created. This is when organizations gain sustainable competitive advantage. Discovering and communicating this brand fingerprint helps organizations bring strategic focus to the power of their brand — giving brands a meaningful and recognizable shorthand that helps cut through the noise and clutter to connect with people.

Brand fingerprint process

Following a process to help uncover the organization’s brand fingerprint will ensure that the intangible attributes assigned to the brand — assets like integrity and innovation — are translated into a visual, tangible representation to which audiences can relate. The process has two phases, strategy and visual translation. It works like this:

Phase I. Strategy

Step 1. Finding your brand values, character, and personality

Step 2. Understanding the competitive landscape

Step 3. Determining your position in the marketplace

Step 4. Developing your value proposition

Phase II. Visual Translation

Step 1. Developing the brand mood

Step 2. Determining the key brand elements

Step 3. Developing the brand roadmap

Phase I. Strategy

The strategy phase can be compared to traditional methods of brand development and is based on core values. The difference here is that the exercises used in the facilitated sessions with company decision makers are designed not only to uncover brand values and attributes, but to gather information in a way that it will be useful for development of the visual translation of the brand. Pairing the creative team with decision makers at the very beginning of brand strategy development is essential in gathering input that will be critical to visual translation.

This is important since experts say that 80% of what we learn comes to us visually, and customers will most likely see brands long before they understand the strategy. There are many benefits of considering how the brand will be communicated visually at the strategy stage. Some of these benefits include: – translation of intangible company assets and attributes into tangible representations that truly reflect the company’s core values – avoidance of possible disconnects when logos, websites, and print materials are developed – development of marketing materials that really communicate key messages – deeper understanding and long-term recall of brand messages by customer audiences – consistency of brand messages over time

Phase II: Visual Translation

The visual translation phase takes all of the information gathered in the strategy phase and translates it into a visual form that people can see and relate to — the visible brand fingerprint. A clear and accurate brand fingerprint can communicate assets like integrity, zero defects, and innovation and make them palpable. Visible. Understandable. Audiences will know at a glance “who” the organization is, what it is saying to them, and why they should buy, react, or be moved. And it will be real, it will be authentic, and it will stand the test of time — because what people see represents the synthesis of the brand strategy.

The benefits of developing the visual components of the brand directly from strategy exercises include:

– a brand mood that will communicate to customers on an emotional level, because the design is based on authentic aspects of the brand’s character and personality – because the mood is a direct translation of strategy jointly developed by company decision makers and creative team, there are no unpleasant surprises at the design stage – the main visual components of the brand will look and feel “real” and will become the pillars upon which other marketing materials will be built – there will be no need for new themes, visual approaches, or deviations from the established visual translation. Brand equity builds with consistency. This is a cost-effective benefit.

Brand communication

Being true to the organization’s authentic brand is how trust, loyalty, and sustainable relationships are developed between the organization and its audiences. Great graphics and cool animation aren’t effective if they don’t accurately communicate the company’s character or brand. Something’s amiss if the organization is not clear and consistent about how it is presenting itself in front of its publics. If the organization’s brand and its image are not aligned, “brand schizophrenia” occurs, which significantly affects the quality of the relationship and level of trust with valued audiences, including customers and employees. Both lose trust in companies when they don’t know what to expect. With brand strategy and visuals clearly articulated in a unique brand “fingerprint,” organizations can make a real connection with their audiences. Once established, this connection enables them to communicate compelling value, promote long-term recall of brand messages, and foster the trust, loyalty, and emotional attachment that sustain relationships.

What Happens to Boys Raised by Mothers With Borderline Personality Disorder?

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a disorder with criteria found in the DSM-IV and is characterized by avoidance of abandonment, identity disturbance, chronic emptiness, affective instability, self-harming behaviors along with common problems as extreme black-and-white thinking and emotional dysregulation. More women than men are commonly diagnosed with BPD, somewhere in the 2:1 to 9:1 ratios depending on sources. The numbers of women in treatment programs across the country disproportionately outnumber men, which is an indication that women of all ages, mothers and daughters, are more likely to be treated than boys or men.

Quite a bit has been written about girls and women with borderline personality disorder. But little research exists about how boys experience their mothers that are suffering with the BPD criteria, such as intense emotional dysregulation, unstable relationship patterns, fears of abandonment, or identity disturbance. Are boys being impacted in ways that most professionals and educators may not recognize? Understanding the problems that may stem from the BPD mother-son dynamic could help families and professionals prevent young males from being misunderstood or mislabeled as aggressive, defiant, or antisocial, so that these boys are not being marginalized, but instead they are given the amount of clinical treatment that girls and women often receive.

This is not to say that every son of a mother with BPD has a negative experience. Sons can experience the “good-enough-mother” and mature through developmental stages with few disturbances. However, when the relationship goes poorly, sons can suffer with serious psychological and emotional problems that impair a boy’s development and create lifelong identity problems well into manhood.

Emotional dysregulation, a common problem among BPD sufferers, is like riding a rollercoaster. If a boy never knows what to expect from one moment to the next, a mother’s roller coaster emotions can trigger real confusion and impact self-worth when he cannot seem to please her. The emotional invalidation that stems from this dynamic may create in a boy a constant need to seek validation. Or, he may detach from his emotions and stuff them, because the emotions are perceived as unacceptable.

Similarly, unstable mother relationship patterns vacillating between the polarities of available versus unavailable motherly affection and distant versus intense emotional enmeshment, along with fits of anger and abandonment anxiety can create a world of instability, distrust, and confusion about a boy’s relationship with his mother. He may develop distrust for other individuals as he matures into adulthood.

Black-and-white thinking, a common problem often based in irrational fears, can create rigid rules and expectations for a young boy to navigate, which may foster a need to be perfect in order to please his mother. Perfectionism comes with high emotional costs, such as extremes in thinking, anxiety, and irrational thought patterns that take over one’s life and cause problems in interpersonal relationships. Identity confusion, another criterion, causes problems in several areas of male identity development related to self-confidence, self-image, sexual identity, career choices, and long-term goals. An enmeshed mother-son relationship can harm a son’s sense of independence and autonomy. He may find himself riddled with guilt as he desires to achieve independence and yet fears that he is abandoning her.

Finally, the self-harming and para-suicidal behaviors of a mother with BPD can be extremely traumatic and may even contribute to the development of posttraumatic stress disorder, especially if his mother’s threats are repeated or if her suicide is successful. The subsequent trauma can skew a boy’s overall sense of security, because the suicidal gestures may be perceived as abandonment and cause a boy to fear loss.

This dynamic between a mother with BPD and her son has serious implications for a boy’s emotional life well into manhood. Families and educators can help these young men to emotionally recover and mature. Healthier emotional lives can be achieved through stable relationships and a validating environment. But, sometimes, a young man may need more intensive help by working with a psychotherapist to address the deeper issues around a poor self-image or lack of confidence. It’s important to realize that early therapeutic interventions can make a positive difference in helping a young man develop a healthy self-image with lifelong implications for a better life and relationships.

What Kind of Doctor Should I Go to For Thinning Or Shedding Hair?

I get a lot of emails asking for advice about finding a doctor who will listen and help with hair loss or shedding issues.  People often ask questions like: “is there a type of doctor who specializes in hair loss?” or “how do I find a doctor who will take this shedding seriously because I can’t stand this any longer?”  I will try to address these concerns in the following article.

Ruling Out Medical Causes For Your Hair Loss Or Shedding: The reason that you may eventually want to just run this by a doctor is that although the majority of people with hair issues have them for genetic reasons, there are medical issues and medications that can negatively effect your hair also.  If your hair isn’t changing for the better and / or isn’t responding to treatment, then you may want to check your hormones (thyroid, adrenal, sex, etc.), iron levels, autoimmune markers, and cortisol levels just to name a few.  Most general practitioners can and will handle this and if the work up is done by your primary care, then often insurance will cover it.

But, I have to tell you that most people hit a dead end here.  The “normal limits” for most tests and blood work is very broad.  You could well be in what is normal range for the general population but is not a normal range for you.

Endocrinologists: Many people will make the next stop at an endocrinologist to rule out conditions like PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), hypothyroidism, graves disease, Hashimoto’s, adrenal fatigue / failure and other endocrine disorders.

Rheumatologists: Many folks with hair loss will eventually consider autoimmune disorders like lupus or AA (alopecia areata)  as a cause of the issue.  It’s generally a rheumatologist who can test for these things and rule them out.  Some (myself included) believe that so called “soft” autoimmune disorders like fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, or interstitial cystitis can also be culprits.

Gynecologist / Anti Aging Doctors: Women in particular will often turn to their ob / gym to try to balance or boost their hormones as these fluctuations can often cause shedding or a thinning out of the hair.  Many feel that anti aging doctors are more receptive to this.  Here’s what I’ve experienced as the problem with this.  When you’re a shedder and you’re a woman, it’s often because you’re hormonally vulnerable meaning your body can not tolerate even small changes.  So, experimenting with or adding hormones can sometimes back fire and make the problem worse.

Dermatologists: Many people turn to dermatologists for androgen or hereditary hair loss and thinning or for problems with the scalp that is contributing to the loss.

Neuropaths: This is often where people turn in frustration because traditional physicians often are perceived as unsympathetic, hurried, or not interested as this is perceived as not a life threatening condition.  Many will look at you, reassure you that you look normal, give the test, find normal limits and tell you not to stress so much. Neuropaths are said to take more time, but they aren’t typically covered by insurance and many take a “try this and see” approach.

Trichologists: These guys are physicians that specialize in hair loss.  However, you have to be careful here because many of these are tied into hair restoration clinics that perform hair replacement surgery.  This is a solution for some, but many people see this as a last resort. Still, if you can find a good one, it can be worth the trip.

Cheap Pool Tables – The Pros and Cons of Buying a Used Pool Table

Buying a pool table is not a decision to be taken lightly and buying cheap pool tables can prove to be costly if you are not sure what to look for. In this article I will try to cover the main things you should look at when planning to buy a cheap or used secondhand pool or billiard table.

The three main components that you need to check out are the slate, the rails and cushions and the table felt.

Let’s look at each one of these and give you some tips on what to look for.

We will start with the slate which of course is the most important component of any pool table. Slate for pool tables can come in a variety of thicknesses and grades (quality) and it is important to make sure that the slate you have on any cheap pool tables you are purchasing is free from any chips or cracks.

To easily test this out you should first spray the felt with a specialist cleaning solution and then brush the felt to see if their are any areas of the felt that are damaged. If the felt is damaged or worn it will show and this is the most likely place you will find chips or cracks in the slate.

Of course the easiest way to test a slate for any damage is to play some balls up and down and across the table to see if their are any jumps. If the ball jumps or skips from the table then it is likely the slate is damaged. If it is chipped then you can get a special adhesive to actually repair the slate bed

The rails and cushions on a pool table are extremely important and if they are not set at the correct height or are badly worn then the bounce from the cushion will be dead. A good table felt and good cushions should allow you to hit the ball around the table off of all four cushions without using your hardest cue stroke. If you cannot hit four cushions then there is a problem.

Cheap Pool Tables often have lower quality cushions and rails, however you can replace them.

You will find various materials and different design principles applied with rubber cushions. The cushions are usually made from an elastic material such as vulcanized (gum or synthetic) rubber.

To make sure you have well fitted cushion rubbers you should take into account that the top part of the cushion where your billiard/pool ball rebounds from should be 1 7/16″ from the slate surface if you are using a standard regulation set of billiard balls (2 1/4″)

Standards on US pool tables are the K-66 cushion rubber profile, which is defined as having a base of 1-3/16 inches and a nose height of 1 inch. This causes the balls’ rebound to be predictable during your game.

New or used pool tables really do play pretty similar but one element which can make a real difference in the performance is the tables felt.

Pool table felt, also known as “cloth” will cover the top of the playing area, the rails and slate bed are normally covered with a high quality woven 21-24 ounce billiard cloth.

If your table is running slow, the balls don’t appear to roll fast enough, you can take off the cushions and the rails to re-stretch the cloth to speed it up.

Below are the top four tournament quality felts you may wish to look at:

Tour Edition 3030 Titan 21oz Woolen Mercury Ultra Simonis 860

So what are the pros and cons of purchasing cheap pool tables???

The Pros

1. Well number one is the cost!!! You can get a cheap pool table for anywhere between $200 – $600 if you shop around (A new table can set you back anywhere between $1500 – $3000)

2. Having your own table at home makes it cheaper in the long run. Your not paying table hiring fees to play so you have a cost saving there.

3 You can invite friends and family to play and this makes for a lot of fun.

The Cons

1. Your cheap table is more likely going to be a used table so you will probably need to arrange transport to get it delivered. (When you buy a new table this is normally included in the price)

2. If you are not an expert you could be buying a table which has some defects (can cost more in the long run if you have to replace any parts of your table)

3. Some older pool tables are prone to slate damage which is the most expensive component of your table (A new table will come with a good guarantee)

So if you are looking to buy cheap pool tables then take into consideration the pluses and minuses

To summarize, getting a new or used pool table does not make much difference to your playing experience if you have a level slate bed, good rails and quality cloth.

Enjoy your next rack.

The Influence Of The Pituitary Gland On Your Body

The pituitary gland, through the little-known hypothal-amus that lies directly above it, is also the appetite center and the sleep center of the body. Loss of appetite, and insomnia! Two universal complaints found in thousands of the past-forty group who have strayed from the rules of good nutrition.Exhaustive research has discovered that the pituitary is extremely sensitive to diet. If you do not eat enough high-protein foods (meat, especially, seems to have a stimulating effect on this gland), then your pituitary cannot produce a normal supply of its own dozen or more vitally needed hormones which, themselves, are made of protein. In addition to protein, the pituitary is stimulated by vitamin E (richest source is wheat germ); and increased amounts of vitamin A either in foods or in concentrated form, have directly beneficial effects on the entire endocrine group.

Also essential to a healthy pituitary gland is the mineral manganese. Foods rich in this mineral are citrus fruits, outer coatings of grains, green leaves of edible plants, egg yolk and all fish, especially those from salt water. It might be well to mention here that a derangement of the posterior (back) lobe of the pituitary gland always causes an abnormal craving for sweets. And again we see the old vicious circle beginning to form-too many starches and sweets, and too little protein resulting in a starved, deranged pituitary gland; and then a still greater craving for more and more of the same high-starch foods that caused the trouble in the first place.

Your Thyroid Sets the Pace

This well-known member of the endocrine family is located in the front of the neck. (A goiter is nothing more than a greatly enlarged thyroid gland.) The thyroid is larger in women than in men, and becomes still larger during adolescence, menstruation, pregnancy and menopause. Thyroxine, as the hormone secreted by the thyroid gland is called, is about 60 per cent iodine. This vital hormone is formed when organic iodine combines in the thyroid gland with an amino acid (protein), assisted by still another amino acid. From this, we establish the fact that protein is essential to a healthily functioning thyroid gland. Chief task of the thyroid hormone is to determine the speed at which you live-in other words, the rate at which your body consumes its oxygen. For this reason, the thyroid gland has the power to increase your sensitivity to all normal mental and physical stimuli. To an astonishing degree, the thyroid also governs the constantly changing flow of your emotions. When functioning normally, the thyroid keeps you from becoming either too fat, or too thin. Texture and quality of your skin and hair is regulated by the thyroid hormone. Surest symptoms of too little thyroxine in the blood are dry, coarse, goose-pimply skin; and dry, lifeless, brittle hair.

The thyroid gland is also closely linked with the normal functioning of all other glands in your body. Because the thyroid gives your body much of its energy and virility, serious interference with the work of this gland causes the sex glands to slow down, even to lose all functioning powers. That is why the sex instinct is very often dormant in a grossly overweight man or woman-their abnormally fat bodies bespeak a diseased thyroid gland. From the foregoing, you can begin to appreciate that the thyroid gland determines to a marked degree how youthfully attractive you are-and remain. Since the thyroid hormone helps regulate the texture of your skin and hair, controls your weight, determines the amount of energy you possess and stimulates your sexual powers, it’s no exaggeration to say that the first outward signs of premature old age have their beginning in an under-par thyroid gland.

When secreted in normal amounts, the thyroid hormone helps you stay mentally alert and physically attractive-two things that comprise the very essence of youth. A healthy, properly nourished thyroid gland is especially important to the woman who is either approaching, or going through, her menopause. The thyroid hormone helps combat the overweight, dullness and apathy that commonly afflict a woman during this emotionally trying period. A serious decrease in the thyroid hormone at this time is also known to bring on arthritis. A normal thyroid gland can also help maintain sexual desire in a woman during the menopause, and for years after she has passed through her climacteric. The same holds true for sexual power in men, who must also undergo a climacteric that usually sets in from about fifty to fifty-five. I don’t need to dwell at length on the fact that a normal sex life does more to help a man, or a woman, maintain a feeling of youth than any other single factor. And not only do they feel young, they actually look younger. The sense of loving, and being loved, brings a sparkle to the eye and a spring to the step that no other tonic in the world can bestow, whatever your age.

Protein has a specific and dynamic effect on all the endocrine glands, but particularly on the thyroid. This is true because protein activates the thyroid, keeping it from becoming sluggish, from atrophying. Gland specialists will tell you it is a well-known fact that the thyroid glands of senile persons are almost invariably atrophied. Further, these same specialists will tell you that keeping the thyroid gland healthy will prevent the dry and flabby skin, thinning hair, poor circulation, sensitivity to cold, easy fatigue, faulty elimination, lowered bodymetabolism and total loss of sexual powers which not only are characteristic of old age, but which are also the unmistakable symptoms of an underactive thyroid in a prematurely aging body. The foods, then, that are necessary for proper nourishment of your thyroid gland include high-grade proteins; iodine as found in sea foods, in vegetables grown near the ocean, and in mineral concentrates; and thiamin (vitamin B-i) which is especially abundant in millet and sunflower seeds, in all gland meats such as liver, heart, brains, in lean beef and lamb, in egg yolk, sardines, fish roe, codfish and chicken, together with whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables. If there is any doubt at all in your mind about obtaining generous amounts of either iodine or thiamin in your diet (the soil in which foods are grown determines the actual quantities of a

mineral or a vitamin available to you), then I would advise supplementing your meals with these two nutrients in concentrated form. Your thyroid gland needs both these food elements too urgently for you to ‘guess I’m getting enough.’

The Adrenals, Your Glands of Survival

These bean-sized glands are located one above each kidney; they are called your ’emergency glands.’ It is adrenalin, one of their hormones, that spurs every nerve and muscle into immediate, perfect coordination when you face a crisis or a great danger. That split-second leap to safety from the path of a speeding auto; that burst of energy to save a loved one in peril-these are the kinds of superhuman reactions which adrenalin gives you. When adrenalin is poured into the bloodstream from your adrenal glands at the moment that some emergency message is telegraphed to them by your brain, your entire nervous and muscular system grows tense, prepared for instantaneous action. Your brain becomes more alert; your senses of sight and hearing become acute; your heart beats more rapidly; your breathing becomes faster; and your blood pressure rises. As an added safeguard during any emergency, adrenalin (secreted by the medulla, the pulpy inner part of the adrenal glands) sends continuous supplies of quick-burning glucose as fuel for your greatly speeded-up heart muscle. Then, after the crisis is over, the thick outer part of the adrenals, called the cortex, immediately takes command and calms down all the organs which adrenalin has excited into great bursts of superhuman activity. Healthy adrenal glands are one of the most effective beauty aids you could desire, since the color and quality of the skin is one indication of the way in which your adrenal glands are performing. A clear, rosy color usually indicates properly functioning adrenals; whereas dark, sallow skin, heavily lined, should warn you that all is not well with them.

The adrenal glands also have a lot to do with helping your hair remain young. The cortex is suspected of being the culprit when your hair starts to become gray, since the pigment which colors hair is partially formed and stored in this outer layer of the adrenal glands. Obviously, sluggish adrenals would more than likely be unable to provide enough pigment to keep your hair colored, and this ‘rationing’ of normal pigment would result in faded or gray hair.

This pair of little glands also helps neutralize any poisons that may sneak into your bloodstream-and believe me there are hundreds of them waiting to destroy you every second of your life. A disease such as blood poisoning or influenza, as well as surgical operations, places such heavy demands on the adrenal glands to ‘clean up’ the bloodstream that the glands afterwards become weary, and their hormone secretions fall far below normal. That is one reason why acute nervous symptoms or severe physical exhaustion nearly always follow a surgical operation or a serious illness. The hormone that controls your amount of pep, as well as your ability to fight off disease, is called cortin; it is secreted by the cortex (outer layer) of the adrenals. Even a mild upset of the adrenals-chances are pretty good that you’re suffering such an adrenal upset at this very moment, since it’s a common ailment in today’s world-will cause lack of pep, and what is mistaken for ‘plain laziness.’ That is, you can’t bring yourself to plunge into the round of ordinary social, domestic and business activities that face you. So beware whenever you tire too easily and seem to need more than seven or eight hours’ sleep night after night, then the chances are you may be suffering from what is called hypo-adrenia. Other common warning signs of this glandular disturbance are cold hands or feet, and low blood pressure. Along with this mistakenly called ‘physical laziness’ comes a marked mental lethargy that leaves you unable to think clearly, or to concentrate on important matters. Since poorly functioning adrenal glands are certain to make you lose your youthful appearance and to expose you to chronic disease, you’d be well advised to pamper these two bean-sized glands-that is, if you don’t relish the idea of an early, ailing old age.

The adrenals, especially the cortex or outer layer, are usually the first gland to be damaged by injury. (Because these two small glands are not very well protected within the body, they usually suffer from any blow that damages the kidneys.) These sensitive glands are also injured by disease, and by certain chemicals. We know that lead poisoning, or excess amounts of nicotine, severely damage the cortex. This is also true of the sulfa drugs in large doses, and the same can be said for potassium chlorate, a chemical most unwisely used in some toothpastes. The adrenals, particularly the cortex, are also the first glands to be damaged by malnutrition. A lot of intensive research has been done in recent years on the effect of diet on hormone production, especially the hormones secreted by the adrenals. The conclusions reached were that through proper diet it is quite possible to renew the vitality of the adrenal glands. Protein, together with vitamin C, seems to have the most beneficial effect on the adrenal glands. This is true because high-protein diets have been found to be the best measure for successfully combating hypo-adrenia-the ailment that keeps your blood pressure too low, your hands and feet like ice, and your mind and muscles about as peppy as those of a sloth.

Interesting Facts About Ostrich Farming

Decorative feathers, delicious and nutritious meat and strong, attractive leather are just some of the reasons to consider the lucrative business of ostrich farming. It can also be an aid for healthier eating habits.

Ostrich farming is currently conducted in over 100 countries across the world. From cold climates such as Alaska and Sweden to equatorial countries like Brazil and Indonesia, ostriches are being raised as livestock with high yields. Because of its hardy nature, virtually any area is adaptable for the ostrich. Its feathers provide great protection with their insulating abilities; keeping the bird cool in hot climates and warm in colder areas. Humidity does present a problem, not with the adults but with the chicks which are highly susceptible to diseases that can be present in those conditions.

There are several reasons why ostrich farming can be a good investment. One breeding pair of ostriches is capable of producing up to 40 chicks per year. One healthy male can breed with up to three females during the same season. The incubation time of the ostrich eggs is only 42 days, so it is conceivable that your flock of birds can multiply exponentially in the best of conditions.

Another reason many people consider the business of ostrich farming is that the meat and hide of ostriches are in great demand. The cost of raising ostriches is much less than that of many livestock, because the ostrich is a free range animal that requires virtually no care after the age of 4 to 5 months. Feeding the birds is a much lower investment than feeding livestock, as the weight gain is greater with less feed for the ostriches.

Yet another benefit of ostrich farming is that you don’t need a great deal of land to get started. For a pair of ostriches, only 1/3 of an acre is needed for them to roam; ½ acre for a trio of birds. They do not require shade, so open land is perfect for them. A free water source is vital, however; ostriches require 1.5 gallons of water per day. These birds spend about 75% of daylight hours feeding. Green grasses and pelleted feed make up the diets of the birds, with most of their minerals and nutrients found in a good palletized food.

In ostrich farming, there is very little waste when the birds are slaughtered. This means more bang for the buck. The meat goes to distributors, the hide to leather producers, the feet to the Asian markets as an aphrodisiac, the feathers to automobile distributors as paint aids and the eyes are purchased by research clinics that study human cataracts.

There are many positive reasons to begin ostrich farming, including the profits from selling the meat, hide and other parts of the bird. It can be a rewarding venture as well; knowing that supplying a healthier product can result in healthier eating habits.

Weight Loss, Slimming and Diet Pills – Do They Work?

Slimming Pills

There are many diet medications and pills that claim to help you lose weight and aid slimming. There are also many herbal supplements that say they can reduce your weight. There is little or no evidence that these readily available pills and supplements work. Studies and articles confirm the lack of evidence that over the counter weight loss supplements and tablets work. Beware of claims made by internet sites promoting the sale of herbal supplements that will quickly make you lose weight. If you are considering using medication when slimming this should be done under the supervision of a fully trained and registered doctor. Doctors are the only people that can provide prescription only slimming medication. Any diet or slimming pills should also be part of a weight loss management plan which also looks at changes in diet, lifestyle and exercise. When any patient is taking prescribed slimming pills they should have regular check-ups with a doctor to monitor their response and health. Beware of medications available on the internet as these will often be fake or can potentially be harmful to your health. Only take medication under the supervision of an experienced doctor.

How do prescription only weight loss pills work?

These prescription medications can work by a few mechanisms depending on the tablet. Some pills can help suppress appetite and reduce hunger, these are called appetite suppressants. Some tablets reduce the digestion and absorption of fat, these are known as lipase inhibitors.

Do slimming tablets work?

There is a good amount of evidence that prescription only slimming medication works in helping patients lose weight. This evidence comes from clinical research and trials when patients are given the medication or placebo (a tablet with no medical effect or active ingredient). The results showed that those taking the prescribed diet pills, only available from doctors, had much more weight loss than those taking the placebo pills. There is little or no evidence that diet supplements and pills that you can buy over the counter or internet help in weight loss.

Are slimming pills safe?

When given under doctor supervision appetite suppressants can be a safe and effective way to lose weight. As with all medications there are some risks and potential side effects. When appetite suppressants are prescribed you should have regular check-ups to make sure there are no problems with your health. This involves a consultation with a doctor who will measure your weight and blood pressure. It is important that you are under the care of a trained doctor when taking any prescribed medication including slimming pills.

Can anybody use weight loss medication?

No. There are some patients who should not have appetite suppressants or diet pills because of their current health or medicines. These patients include those who are or have: Pregnant or breast feeding Severe high blood pressure or heart disease Diabetes, thyroid problems, or glaucoma Taking some types of antidepressant pills and other medications or supplements

Beauty Therapy Vs Cosmetology

People often get these two terms confused. They both take place in a beauty school, they both require some form of certification, and they both involve cosmetic work that can help clients look and feel more beautiful than ever before. Most individuals think that these two are the same thing, but there are huge differences that individuals should be aware of before deciding on their career path.

Cosmetology is what most people think of when they think of beauty school in the first place. They envision cutting and styling to perfection in a salon. Facials, expert manicures and pedicures and flawless make up looks are a few other things that cosmetology is known for. One of the key ways to help differentiate between the two is remembering that cosmetology often involves things that are more along the lines of cutting, styling and quick surface things that can easily be reversed, such as facials or manicures.

Beauty Therapy

Beauty therapy is similar to cosmetology in the fact that a person goes to school to learn beauty treatments. The coursework is often different, however. Schools that specialize in beauty therapy treatments often offer more advanced coursework, like laser hair removal training and other beauty therapy. In addition to this, they often offer some of the more popular courses that are offered at schools that specialize in cosmetology, such as certified nail technician courses.

Which one to choose

When students are faced with deciding which school to attend, they are often faced with choosing between cosmetology and beauty therapy schools. While beauty therapy schools offer some of the same things that cosmetology schools offer, most cosmetology schools do not offer courses in laser hair removal training.

Students are encouraged to sit back and consider their education goals. If a student would like to learn more advanced beauty therapy treatments, a beauty school that specializes in courses such as laser hair removal training will be the best option. Students that have a dream of working in a salon and giving their clients a haircut that they will fall in love with or the perfect pedicure will find that a beauty school that specializes in more cosmetology practices instead of advanced beauty therapy treatments, like laser hair removal training, will be more up their alley.

Shop around

An education is what determines a person’s future, making it one of the most important decisions in a young adult’s life. Because of this, students are encouraged to take their time shopping around, just like when they want to find the perfect outfit.

Many beauty school have websites that list their tuition, the various courses that are offered, and what the schedule will look like. If a student is interested, they can usually take a tour of the facility, and visit the labs that they will be working in. Sometimes, a school will even allow an interested person to sit in on a laser hair removal training class so that they can determine if this is the path that they would like to take.

When deciding on a career path, knowing the difference between cosmetology and beauty therapy is vital in making the decision on which to school to attend, and which career path they would like to take. Confusing these two terms is extremely common, but it can also mean the difference between attending a school that focuses on stylist work and attending a school that focuses on more advanced beauty treatments, such as laser hair removal training.

Future students are advised to keep these two terms, and their differences in mind as they visit different school and begin to develop their own education goals.

Gain Weight Healthy – 5 Weight Gain Tips

I don’t mean that all thin people are not fit and strong. The exception from a rule applies here too. But most of us fall in “rules”. Gain weight and see people admiring your new found curves and glowing skin. Since the skin stretches with additional pounds it looks healthier and glows.

It is well known fact that being obese increases the risk of chronic diseases, being too skinny also can be a cause of heart failure and cancer. Elderly people being under weight can result them to be frail, and suffer from osteoporosis and prone to hip fractures. An underweight man can also increase chance of erectile dysfunction.

Putting on weight is not about stuffing yourself with junk food or anything which will harm your health than helping. Go through these tips to gain weight naturally and follow whatever is applicable to you.

Weight gain Tip 1: Make sure you are not losing weight!

Yes while you are doing all that you can to gain weight, it is more important to make sure that you are not losing those hard earned pounds without your knowledge. So get on that scale regularly and keep track that you are maintaining the current weight at least.

Don’t stuff yourself with too much of quantity in 3 meals a day to gain weight. Instead break it into 6 meals with regular intervals. Your goal should be to eat every 3 hrs and you are on right track to gain weight.

Weight gain Tip 2: Calories and calories

If you feel though you are eating enough still not gaining weight, then you have to check your definition of enough. Calculate your current calories intake and increase it by additional 300-500 calories per day and that should be your calories intake to increase your weight. With that you should be gaining 0.5 to 1 pound a week. If your weight gain is less than that, increase it by additional 300 calories per day and watch. Also it is very important to make sure you are not gaining too much too fast. Yup! Slow and study wins the race. So if you are gaining weight more than 1 pound per week, reduce your calories by 300 and get the right balance.

weight gain Tip 3: Weight training

OK now all that weight you are gaining will remain as fat which needs to be converted into muscle. So don’t start right away lifting heavy weights and pushing yourself to do ridiculous numbers of bench press, chin ups etc. Remember our mantra “slow and steady”. Start with running, stretching and light weight lifting and gradually increase on regular intervals.

When you are well into this step, your weight gain will be 1-2 pounds a week.

Weight gain Tip 4: Drink enough water

Yes I mean water not something you are expecting! One needs to drink half a gallon of water every day. If you can drink more than that still better. You don’t wish to be a victim of dehydration which may lead to many other health problems. And of course you want to increase your stamina and fitness right? Right, it is water therapy for you then.

Weight gain Tip 5: R and R

Rest and Relax, give your body a break to enjoy this new attention that you are paying. Get good sleep and relax with music or friends. Be in the company of people who encourage you and appreciate your efforts. This is most neglected yet important tip.

Avoid trans fat at all cost and say yes to good fats. Though you want to gain weight, definitely you don’t want to gain weight which is just fat. Avoid too much of cakes and chips. Fried items and no more visits to fast food joints. Cut down on your daily intake of coffee and tea, if possible switch to green tea with more antioxidant, milk with protein powder.

Gaining healthy weight is as easy or difficult as losing weight depending on the individual and body type. But the fact to remember is it is possible. Don’t obsess over doing things right and pushing yourself to limits to gain weight. It is your body and you should love and accept it first and convince yourself that you are going to gain weight to make yourself feel better than to impress others. The key is to be consistent and be patient.

Tips On How To Lose Belly Fat Fast

Are you worried about excess belly fat? Maybe your favorite jeans don’t fit you anymore or you look unflattering in your favorite cocktail dress. You definitely need to do something about that extra fat quickly! You should be aware of the consequences of obesity, and know that it is necessary to maintain a healthy weight to prevent a variety of diseases. There are several weight loss and diet plans available that help in weight and fat loss. But if you want to know how to lose belly fat naturally, here are some methods that are just as effective.

A healthy diet and exercise is necessary for rapid weight loss. As for your diet, you do not need to starve yourself, you can just avoid fatty foods and replace them with healthy alternatives. I suggest you eat 4 – 5 small, healthy meals each day. As for exercise, a combination of weightlifting and cardio is best for fat loss. Now let’s look at these methods in detail.

Food you should eat: Vegetables and fruits are the best options for health products that you can include in your diet weight loss. They contain all the necessary nutrients and almost no fat. Fish is a good choice, because it contains omega-3 fatty acids and proteins that are necessary for the body. You can also include low-fat yogurt, low-fat milk, olive oil, nuts and seeds, whole grains, beans, legumes, tofu, soy, herbal tea etc. in your diet. Consuming food with a high protein content is a necessity if you’re working out regularly.

Foods to avoid: All junk and processed foods such as pizza, burgers, chips, desserts, etc. should be excluded from your diet. Second, avoid eating fatty and fried foods, like fried chicken, butter, cheese, cakes, croquettes, etc. Meat and chicken with a thick sauce, macaroni and cheese, etc. contain excess calories and therefore should be avoided. Chocolate, sweets, desserts, cakes, pastries, ice cream, are also loaded with calories and therefore should not be part of your diet.

Drink water: Have you heard about the benefits of drinking water to lose weight? Having a sufficient amount of water (8 – 10 glasses) daily helps increase your metabolism, which further helps in quick fat loss. Water is also one of the best natural appetite suppressant. You can drink a glass of water before meals to curb appetite, which consequently leads to weight loss.

Exercise: Exercise is a must if you want to lose belly fat fast. Cardiovascular exercises like swimming, running, jogging, brisk walking, etc. help in burning fat. Another effective way of burning fat is by doing DVD workout programs at home.

Reduce stress: Stress is another factor that affects your weight. It has been observed that people tend to eat a lot when under stress. Therefore, you should avoid eating sweets and try to reduce stress as much as possible to maximize your fat loss. Meditation and yoga are considered to be the best methods for dealing with stress. Pursuing a hobby, or spending more time with close friends or family members, may also help in reducing stress.

Sleep: A good night’s sleep is important for having a healthy body and mind. Therefore, having a sound sleep for more than 6 hours is critical.

Now that you’ve read my tips on how to lose belly fat naturally, it should be easier to understand how to deal with losing weight!

Weight Loss For Women – Resistance Training Will Rev Up Fat Burning

If you really want to lose weight, burn fat and develop a lean healthy body, then in addition to proper nutrition, you really need to include resistance training as part of your weight loss program. Not only is exercise an important part of any fat burning program, the RIGHT type of exercise is also critical.

For you cardio junkies out there I’ve got some bad news. The treadmill, stair stepper, elliptical machine or that morning jog are NOT the most effective way to exercise if you want to burn fat and lose weight. I’m not saying cardio is bad, it does help and should be part of your exercise routine. But you’re really missing the boat if you exclude resistance training.

What is resistance training?

Well, it’s pretty much what is says. You do exercises using various forms of resistance. That resistance could come in the form of dumbbells, barbells, weight machines, kettle balls, resistance bands, or even water bottles or soup cans. You can even do resistance training using only your own body weight by doing pull ups, squats, lunges, push ups and so forth. You don’t need to join a gym or buy expensive weight training equipment.

What are the benefits of resistance training?

When you do these types of exercises, it increases the amount of lean muscle mass in your body. And increased lean muscle accelerates your metabolism, which in turn accelerates the rate at which your body burns fat. These muscles essentially become fat burning machines! And the great thing is this fat burning continues long after your workout is over!

When you do cardio exercises, your metabolism isn’t increased nearly as much as it is with resistance training, and with cardio your fat burning slows down shortly after you’re done working out.

In addition to the fat burning and weight loss aspect, resistance training will give your body a much leaner and fitter appearance. You will look toned and because muscle is more compact than fat, you will appear smaller, even compared to someone who is the same height and weight who has a higher body fat.

Many women have avoided strength or resistance training because they don’t want to look like a body builder. Not to fear, because anyone who has done strength training and does appear bulky and muscle bound, got that way because they’ve done very intense muscle building exercises or in some cases may have taken performance enhancing drugs. Normal resistance training will make you appear more toned and fit, but it will not make you bulky.

So, how do you go about doing this resistance training?

There are many different schools of thought when it comes to strength/resistance training. I’m going to share with you some general tips that will get you started in the right direction.

First of all, don’t do too much too fast. Ease into it and get your body used to that type of exercise. Especially if you haven’t done it before.

I recommend you do the resistance training part of your overall exercise program 3 days a week. Your muscles need time to recover and you should never work the same muscle group two days in a row.

You should start light in the beginning but once you get going don’t lift too light. You want to challenge your body so gradually work up to a weight that gives you a good workout but isn’t too strenuous. And don’t lift too heavy. That could cause an injury.

When doing the exercise, use steady gradual movements. Don’t do your reps too fast. That is only using the momentum of the weight instead of working your muscles. That’s cheating and will only defeat your efforts.

Vary your routine every few weeks. It keeps you more mentally stimulated and your muscles will also stay stimulated. If you keep the same routine with the same number of repetitions week after week, your muscles will adjust to it and your progress will slow way down. You need to keep those muscles on their toes! You’ll see continued improvement that way.

Of course, if you really want to see that fat and weight melt away, it’s important to combine your fat burning exercise program with some cardio worked in there for variety and a proper nutritional program is essential.

Losing weight and getting fit is not easy. But if you do it the proper way, you will begin to see immediate results, which of course will help motivate you to continue with your program.

Golf Training Aids Review

Izzo Smooth Swing

There has been many different styles developed of golf training aids for your golf swing, here we will review what we consider to be three of the best available at a reasonable cost.

The first golf training aid I would like to talk about is the Izzo smooth swing, this is a great device for keeping your arms and body in harmony for a more efficient golf swing. This can lead to greater distance and accuracy which every golfer is looking for, I have used one of these for a few years now at home and on the driving range. I have found that it not only improved my distance and accuracy, but also gives me a great sense of the rhythm and timing needed for a smooth golf swing.

You can purchase the Izzo smooth swing for around ten dollars, this is money well spent if you are looking to improve your golf swing. I like it because it is simple to use, there is no requirement for setting up a practice station or bits of equipment. You just simply slide it on your arms and after a short period of time you can feel it encouraging you to make smooth golf swings.

Rick Smith Smash Bag

The rick smith smash bag is an ideal training aid to give you that idea of the correct impact position, this is one of my favourites for indoor work when the weather is bad. It is especially good at giving you feedback on the quality of your strike at the crucial moment in a golf swing, all you have to do is line up and swing then take a look at the angle of the proprietary target map.

If your impact position was good then the bag will stay aligned, but if you were slightly of target then the bag retains the impact to show you where your impact position was for that swing. This is an excellent training aid I have used for a while now and feel I am starting to understand really where I need to be at impact, and costing around $15 is a great investment to help you improve your golf swing.

Swingyde golf training aid

This is the only training aid that I use to keep my golf swing on plane, the swingyde is a fantastic piece of equipment. Using the swingyde is so easy and effective it can take your golf swing to the next level dramatically, the swingyde works with a clip that attaches to the shaft of your club on one end, and a built-in rest that touches your left forearm on the other.

When you swing the club with the swingyde attached the rest should touch your left forearm on the backswing, this encourages the proper wrist cock in the golf swing. This effective training aid will improve your swing plane, wrist cock, swing tempo, clubface alignment, and follow through, when you first use one of these swingydes you will think how simple it looks and how can this be effective.

I know I thought the same until I used it for a while, it greatly improved my swing plane and tempo and is so easy to use I was amazed. You can get a swingyde for around $29 today, you will notice it is well worth the money when you start to see the big improvements in your golf swing.

So if you are looking to improve your golf at a very reasonable cost, then consider these three golf training aids I have written about here in this article. I have tried many different training aids over the past few years and these three are the ones that helped, and for a total cost of $54 for all three, the best value for money I found out there.

Why Nurses Are Special People

Nurses are absolutely essential to the healthcare industry. No hospital could function without them. Nurses provide special qualities and care that no other healthcare professional can provide.

While a doctor may see a patient for five minutes each day in the hospital, the nursing staff is in constant communication with the patient. Not only is a nurse responsible for the medical care of the patient, they often become the emotional support a patient needs to cope with disease and illness. There are many ways that you can support a patient as a nurse in a hospital setting. Your responsibilities will usually include taking vital signs, administering medication, and following up with any physician orders for the patient.

At the same time, you may also work to educate a patient in the hospital. While doctors often prescribe treatment programs, nurses are often better at explaining those programs to patients. As a teacher, you will often be the person that the patient trusts the most. You’ll explain tests and procedures before a patient undergoes them. In addition, you’ll be there during the patient’s recovery to attend to his or her needs and questions.

Sometimes the nurse protects the doctor. In my own experience, I was admitted to the kidney ward after a major abdominal surgery. My primary doctor ordered a prescription. After he left my room, the head nurse shook her head and said, “We never want to use that drug on this floor.” She had the prescription changed without embarrassing the doctor.

Nurses often are the shoulder to lean on when a patient has anxiety, fear, or depression because of an illness. Patients depend on nurses to have compassion and to nurture them when they’re at their worst.

Even though your hospital duties may mainly include inserting IVs, drawing blood, monitoring blood pressure, and delivering medications the human factor is one of the most important things that a nurse can provide.

As a nurse, you are the one that will spend the most time with a patient during a hospital stay. You’re the one who will help with eating a meal, dressing, and bathing. You’ll see a person at his or her most vulnerable state and you’ll throw out the lifeline that’s needed to make it through.

Nurses also play a role in comforting friends and family members who may be dealing with feelings of worry, fear, or even grief. As a nurse, you’ll be the person who helps to explain the situation to relatives and important people of a patient. You’ll be the one who calms their anxiety.

A hospital might be able to deliver sterile medical care with any type of medical professional, but it couldn’t provide quality care without nurses. Nurses provide qualities that no other person could deliver.

Monuments of India

Monuments are the structures which are either created explicitly to commemorate a person or an event or which are made in previous time and has become important to remember the late people or past events. But some monuments are so whimsical and precious that they become the brightly shining star from the vast universe of beautiful structures. They are showcased as the world heritage site.

It is a saga but a very practical truth of today. These valuable gems of our country are getting endangered and if serious and bold steps are not taken for their revival, the country will be like a bride without jewelry. Though India is the treasure of temples, monuments and ancient amazing pieces of art and beauty, I’ll limelight some famous monuments marked as world heritage site.

– QUTUB MINAR- in Delhi built by Qutbuddin Aybak in 1193;

– RED FORT- in Delhi built by Shah Jahan in 1639;

– HUMAYUN’S TOMB – in Delhi built in 1570; these three are among the world heritage sites.

The other famous monuments in Delhi are:

– 22ft TALL IRON PILLAR-in the year AD 375-415;

– JAMA MASJID-India’s largest mosque built in 1655;

Some other world heritage sites in India are:

– TAJ MAHAL-a tomb in Agra built by Shah Jahan in 1631 for his wife Mumtaz Mahal;

– FATEHPUR SIKRI-a magnificent red sandstone city in Sikri near Agra built by Mughal emperor Akbar.

– AJANTA & ELLORA CAVES-present in Maharashtra these caves were built near about 6th century. The caves depict the Buddhist and the Jataka tales.

– ELEPHANTA CAVES-present in Maharashtra these caves were also built near 6th and the 7th century has a 6-m high bust of lord Shiva.

– SONAR QILA-a fort in Rajasthan was built by Rawal Jaiswal in 1156.

– CHARMINAR-it is a square shaped monument built in Andhra Pradesh in 1591.

– SANCHI STUPAS-they are one of the oldest Stupas in Bhopal.

– BHIMBETKA-in Madhya Pradesh they are the rock shelters discovered in 1957. They have many different paintings.

– BASILICA OF BOM JESUS-present in old Goa it holds the tomb of St. Francis Xavier.

– HAMPI-present in Karnataka has many beautiful temples.

– MAMALLAPURAM-it is a group of rock-cut monuments built near 7th and 8th century in Tamil Nadu.

Monuments are getting spoiled: there is not one but many ways in which the valuable and literally non-renewable structures created originally by ancient artists of different dynasties are getting ruined.

The chemicals are released and merged in the air through motor vehicles, coal-fired power plants, nuclear waste disposal, plastic factories and other heavy industries. Even spraying of pesticides and chemicals in agricultural fields are harming the quality of air. The harmful gases released in the environment are basically oxides of Carbon, Sulphur and Nitrogen and the chloro-fluoro carbon gases. These gases are making the air polluted, increasing the global warming and even depleting the ozone layer allowing the UV-rays to enter in the earth’s atmosphere. These bad elements share hands with the other acts causing harm to our heritage. Making the matter worst the deforestation has crossed the limit of pollution. All these negative human behavior together are ruining the environment, basic life and also our very prestigious & precious world heritage sites.

The basic structure of these sites is getting weaker with the pace of time. Deep into their foundation the acids and the chemicals are penetrated which are shattering the skeleton of these whimsical creations leading to the breakdown of their both anatomy and morphology. Either the paints or the detailed intricate work are dropping down; or the luster and the lacquer on the stone are diminished or getting dull.

The chemicals merged with the air and falls on these monuments as the acid rain washing away the beauty of these great sites.

The natural glow or colors of the stones are getting black. The clear example is the Taj Mahal-it is made up of white stone called ‘Sangemarmar’. Due to the presence of dense smog in the atmosphere the ‘Taj Mahal’ is literally turning in the black beauty.

People scrub on the wall of these beautiful structures. Couples write their names and love messages on the walls, throwing garbage and spitting the chewed beetle and through many other obscene attitudes ruin the crystal clear beauty of these monuments.

The scorching heat stops the tourists to visit these places. The intense global warming, deforestation and over pollution has increases the temperature to such an extent that people doesn’t like to view these beauties with itching and sweating all through body.

The foreign tourists who enhance the value of these sites and propagate about their art and beauty are being exploited and used falsely by some bad Indian hosts. This cools down the enthusiasm of the foreigners to visit India and ultimately the economical degradation is the result. Fewer tourists, less economy and reduced revival of the monuments. If these heritages are not revived from time to time, then after few years they will permanently become the history.

The metro advancement acts as a dike. Dike prevents flood but here the metro stations construction and metro route construction are obstructing the stagnancy of these monuments. For instance the tall Qutab Minar getting distract due to the passing route of metro.

But it’s never too late. Let’s join our hands together and put our step forward for the revival mission of the Indian Gems- OUR MONUMENTS:

“The conservation and preservation of these monuments cannot be neglected further”…. Well written and shared by C.B.S.E ‘Siksha Sadan’ to all heads of C.B.S.E affiliated schools on 7th Jan’10.

The cultural ministry showed their courtesy by supporting the subject and lectures in the schools for students to understand and respect their world heritage site.

The books are not the only solution. As always said “action speaks louder than words”, the students should be frequently taken on a trip to these very special monuments. With the proper guidance their knowledge about the ancient monuments should be enhanced. Quiz must be arranged on the basis of world heritage sites and other monuments. Prizes awarded to the winners will encourage the pupils to avail the thorough information of their heritage. The students should be explained the reasons for the protection and the revival of these sites.

The generation availing the fields like civil construction, paints, interior & exterior decoration and designing should be guided to promote their wide creative knowledge in the revival of monuments.

The former and the common style of reviving these world heritage sites and monuments is converting them totally or their particular part(s) in museum, library, tourist place or hotel. One famous example is ‘Chauki Dhani’ in Jaipur. By setting up museums or libraries in these prehistoric beauties, the visitors will get the interesting and the elaborate knowledge of these sites. By converting them in hotels or tourist places, the government will get the foreign revenue and the motive to rehabilitate these ancient creativities.

VOTE FOR TAJ MAHAL – a very fruitful steps to position this whimsical monument on top. Similarly, voting can be supportive to save and revive other monuments. The step can be laid down through:

Internet- software can be designed to inform the viewers and net savvies about these heritage sites and asking for their votes in favor. This method will cover the people review globally.

Besides internet, the NGOs can work on this procedure by setting up seminars, meetings and small get together. The government on this prospect should support these organizations through financial and legal formalities.

Cinema has always inspired public. People literally follow the trend which celebrities start. If cinema and the celebrities perform in those films and shows that convey the message for the protection and the rehabilitation of the monuments, the effect will be strong and productive. The speeches and the messages delivered by the celebrities on the radio, T.V, theatre and on road shows boost up the patriotic feeling hidden deep in the heart of Indians.

Proper security of these eminent works of great artists is required to avoid destruction either by theft or any other way. In addition, if someone is found guilty he/she should be punished either by imprisonment or a fine according to the extent of harm being done to the heritage.

The mentioned above are the few steps that can be put forward for the appreciating work of monument revival. Besides this, national culture should be strengthened not only in dance, music and other performing arts, but also in the rehabilitation and defending of the world heritage sites and monuments.

The procession has started, don’t wait and just share hand on hand being part of this divine act.

3Beta-Hydroxyandrost-5-Ene-17-One – Nature’s Miracle Androgen

3beta-Hydroxyandrost-5-Ene-17-One is a androgenic hormone that is sold in the United States and in some other countries for anti-aging and overall fitness. This androgenic hormone is being used by people from 21 to their 90’s as a way to increase the natural androgen levels in the body. Increasing natural androgens like testosterone leads to a better quality of life and athletic performance.

Humans have been supplementing their hormone levels since the early part of the 20th century. It was common for males to eat the testicles of slaughtered animals as a rite of passage and as a way to proclaim their masculine standing. Since the late 1960’s health enthusiasts have been taking an extract of raw testicles, processed as a dietary supplement called Orchic.

Orchic extract was used to supplement males with the cascade of hormones that were naturally available in the male animals as a way to balance their hormone levels as they age. Naturally, as we age, our hormone levels decline. This leads to many issues like muscle loss, a reduction in our immune system and an increased amount of body fat. In addition to Orchic extract, in the 90’s we saw new hormone extracts come on the market like androstenedione and 3beta-Hydroxyandrost-5-Ene-17-One, which were prohormones to the natural androgens in the male body like testosterone.

3beta-Hydroxyandrost-5-Ene-17-One is still available today and is useful for older people who wish to trim body fat and increase their immune system and also for men over 21 who wish to improve their muscle density and fullness.

To get more of 3beta-Hydroxyandrost-5-Ene-17-One to convert to testosterone and other androgenic hormones, supplement companies will use a variety of co-factors to help push the conversion in this direction. An ingredient called 3-Beta-Hydroxy-Urs-12-En-28-Oic Acid for example will reduce the conversion to estrogen, making more of the hormone available to boost testosterone. Another extract of stinging nettle root will reduce the conversion to DHT and finally enzyme blockers like piperine and luteolin will help keep more of the hormone active for a longer period of time.

These additions will help the hormone be more active and convert at a higher rate to testosterone, giving the males a better chance at achieving their results.
