Comparison in Using A Laser Hair Regrowth Machine and TRIOXINATOR in Hair Loss Treatment

Laser Hair Regrowth machine

It is operated on the known principle that a laser beam can stimulate the skin in order to enhance the appearance of hair. For this to happen, the wavelength of the beam needs to be chosen correctly for optimum performance.

The laser beam penetrates below the surface of the skin and causes a slight elevation of temperature. A laser beam is a very narrow light beam of very high intensity. In order to achieve the required stimulation over a big area, the unit must be moved very slowly over the skin.

Laser Hair Regrowth machine usually comes like a comb to make it possible for some of the laser beams to reach the skin when treating relatively thick existing hair.

Through a non-invasive cosmetic application of Enhanced TriOxi+, the TRIOXINATOR provides a non-medical self-help treatment for men and women who wish to reduce the signs of hair loss.

The TRIOXINATOR uses high voltage; high frequency pulses combined with controlled low frequency amplitude variations and are applied to 7 gas discharge tubes touching the skin. This causes a strong electrical field at the surface of the skin. The resulting electrical currents in the skin are well below the threshold of muscle stimulation and can therefore be safely classified as a gentle local stimulation and when combined with the proprietary Subtle Amplitude Modulation (SAM), the TRIOXINATOR creates the effect of a very gentle massage.

The electrostatic field and the frequencies involved have been specifically tailored for follicle stimulation. The short amplitude modulated high frequency pulses stimulate the skin in a way that increases the blood flow and the supply of nutrients to the follicles in which contributing greatly to reduce the appearance of hair loss. The process takes place inside the skin. Because of the high repetition rate of the pulses the unit can be moved over the surface of the skin at random.

TRIOXINATOR produces very small amount of ozone which neutralizes toxins and other substances on the surface of the skin. At the same time, it produces a gentle massaging effect. It is known that even normal head massage stimulates the follicles.

What does it feel like?

Each session feels like a gentle, finger-like touch that provides a relaxing and stimulating scalp massage while bathing the area in Enhanced TriOxi+. This experience is caused by the occurrence of minute electrical discharges between the surface of the glass and the skin. As soon as the glass tubes touch the skin the inside the tube is fully ignited and very short but very bright pulses of light are generated. The light consists of a mix of many colors mainly in the lower frequency spectrum. It is not laser light.

Below are the comparisons between the above 2 devices.

Target group

Both devices work for men and women

Side Effects

Both do not have side effects but people who use the TRIOXINATOR have been receiving positive responses including improvement of the skin, headaches, and sleep.

TRIOXINATOR: 96% for stop hair fall out and 90% on reverse the sign of hair loss. Remarkable results can be expected with people who just start losing hair. Clients have noticed the signs of hair loss start to reverse within 2-3 weeks.

Laser Comb: In general, there are 3 categories of user experience: 45% of users will see positive results after 8 weeks of treatment. Another 45% will see benefits from weeks 10-16. The last 10% of users will begin to see subtle improvements after 16 weeks.

TRIOXINATOR: Meets regulatory safety standards. Even if children play with the unit it is very difficult to get harmed.

Laser Comb: There is potential risk to users (and children) who may inadvertently look into the laser beam, thereby potentially causing damage to the eyes.

Age Limit

Laser Comb: 18 and over (because of potentially damage to the eyes by looking into the laser beam)

TRIOXINATOR: Medical grade heavy duty plastic and silicone rubber.

Laser Comb: Standard manufacturing-used plastic

The 7 glass probes of TRIOXINATOR are arranged in a circle for maximum contact with the skin of the scalp to give fast and effective treatment. The probes can reach deep down and touch the skin surface totally without blocked by the existing hair. Together with its high repetition pulses, you can move the unit on your scalp at random but still give you a full performance. In contrast to the Laser Hair Regrowth machine, it generally only allows two electrodes to touch the skin of the scalp thus making stimulation rather tedious. Besides, the laser beam is a very narrow light beam; in order to achieve the required performance over a big area on your scalp, the unit must be moved very slowly over the skin.

To my point of view, this is one of the reasons why TRIOXINATOR would give a more steady and predictable result than the Laser Hair Regrowth machine. If the user is not following closely to the instruction, which is moving the machine slowly over the skin and make sure that every single inch of the scalp is touched by the electrodes of the comb, while using the Laser comb, the stimulation varies and result deviate.

There is also a safety issue that we need to pay attention to. Laser Hair Regrowth machine has potential risk to users in damaging the eyes if users inadvertently look into the laser beam. TRIOXINATOR meets regulatory safety standards. It meets all the legal requirements on emission of interference and safety as set out by the governments of the USA, Canada and the EU (Approval by CE, UL, CSA, FCC and RoHS). Even if children play with the unit, it is very difficult to get harmed.

TRIOXINATOR is a Canadian designed and made machine. It is moderately more expensive than the Laser device in the market. But the price difference is based on the additional costs TRIOXINATOR has been invested on the machine with medical grade plastic and silicone rubber. Hair loss is an issue that needs continuous attention. Therefore, the machine needs to be built to last for many years. Moreover, TRIOXINATOR runs by the software driven silicon chip. Because of its complexity it is relatively expensive.

Additional features like, ozone and massaging effect, also add up costs in building the machine. TRIOXINATOR is specifically designed for follicle stimulation. It is not an ozone producing device. However, it does produce some ozone which is known to sanitize skin. Dirt and excess oil in follicles restrain the growth of hair and vice versa, cleansed skin encourages hair grow. Furthermore, the gentle messaging effect in TRIOXINATOR is known to promote stimulation in follicles.

In conclusion, the science together with the quality of TRIOXINATOR gives more remarkable results for both men and women in discontinuing hair fall out and also reverse the sign of hair loss than the Laser Hair Regrowth machine.

Ear Infection Cures – The Natural Way

Ear Infections can be extremely painful for young children and often parents feel stressed and unclear about what to do when their son or daughter is in pain. Antibiotics have long been the treatment offered by medical specialists. However, recent studies have concluded using antibiotics does not offer much help with this painful pediatric condition. Moreover, the use of surgically implanted tubes does not seem to help either.

In order to take care of the child with frequent ear infections, a parent needs to seek the cause of the problem and not treat the symptom. Fortunately, terrific alternative therapies abound for this common condition.

There are 10 basic treatments a parent should follow to help a child overcome childhood ear infections.

1. The child should be checked by a chiropractor to see if misalignment in the bones of the neck exists. Then have the misalignments corrected.

2. Take the children off all dairy products-they are mucous forming and will drive mucous into the inner ear.

3. Take the child off refined sugars including sugar, corn syrup, corn sweeteners, turbinado sugar, brown sugar, honey, and others-sugar weakens the immune system.

4. Take all trans-fats and hydrogenated fats out of the diet. They cause inflammation of the ear tube.

5. Give the child a supplement with vitamin C and zinc.

6. Give the child echinacea, garlic, and colostrum.

7. Have the child wear a hat that covers his ears daily in the cold weather.

8. Use homeopathic eardrops to soothe the ears.

9. Use warm compresses on the ears to soothe the ears.

10. Keep her head out of the water so fluid cannot move up into the ears.

As a child begins to get well again when following these steps, it is not uncommon for him to become sick a couple of times and fight the infections without antibiotics. This is good for a child’s immune system to fight infections without turning to antibiotics. Let your child have a fever. It’s good for her. Fever helps to fight infection. Let your child rest and become well. If she loses her appetite when sick, cease intake of food or supplements until the appetite returns. If your child is in pain, use homeopathic eardrops made with arnica and belladonna to relieve the ear pain.

If you follow these helpful steps, your child will become well again.

Diseases and Disorders That Can Cause Hearing Loss

Although there are several causes of hearing loss that are completely preventable or at least treatable, there are a number of diseases that can cause deafness as well. If you or someone you know is suffering from hearing loss for no apparent reason, it is a good idea to check the following disorders to see if your symptoms correlate with those caused by the disease.

Treacher Collins Syndrome (TCS). Also known as Mandibulofacial Dysostosis, among other things, TCS is a rare genetic disorder that causes obvious facial distortions and abnormalities. These can include deformed or even completely missing ears, a small lower jaw, and other eye and mouth misshapenness. This is due to hypoplasia, which is the underdevelopment of the craniofacial bones. Because of the ear formation anomalies that can happen with TCS, people with the disorder may also suffer from hearing loss. For people missing ears, bone conduction hearing aids can help.

Ménière’s Disease. Typically a disease that affects men and women between the ages of 40 and 60, Ménière’s Disease causes vertigo and tinnitus. This tinnitus may turn into a permanent loss of hearing. The cause of the disorder itself is unknown, but suspected to be an imbalance of fluids within the inner ear. Because your sense of balance and the fluids of the ears are so tightly entwined, it is not always possible to treat the dizziness and hearing loss at the same time. Sometimes, actually, curing the vertigo can cause permanent deafness.

Mondini Syndrome. This disorder, also called Mondini Dysplasia, is like TCS in that the hearing loss is caused by a malformation. With Mondini, the cochlea of the ear may not be fully formed in its spiral shape, resulting in a flattened appearance. Mondini Dysplasia does not always cause complete deafness, and it is sometimes never detected because the person can hear normally. Sometimes, a person with Mondini might need cochlear implants in order to enhance hearing abilities.

Waardenburg Syndrome. Usually shortened to WS, Waardenburg Syndrome is a genetic disorder that results in facial abnormalities, much like TCS. A person with WS may have pigmentation problems with the hair, facial skin, and irises of the eyes, and also suffer from deafness. The hearing impairment results from the malformation of the inner ear. Hearing aids or other auditory aid devices could help a person with WS recover some hearing.

Even for people suffering from hearing loss from a genetic disorder or Ménière’s disease, hearing aids and other hearing-enhancement devices can help restore some sense of sound. For more information on hearing loss and hearing aids, check out Hearing Planet today.

Bach – Guide to the Man in the White Wig

Johann Sebastian Bach would never be as appealing for his adventures in life and good looks as, say, Mozart or Beethoven. His famous portrait showing him as an old man in a white wig holding a piece of sheet music scared away many generations of young music lovers. I think that this picture does not do justice to this composer capable of great emotional depth.

Mozart had an exciting death, writing his Requiem in his deathbed, adding popularity points to his character. Beethoven was kind of a romantic hero, and became deaf making him even more appealing. Bach? He never left Germany and his life passed without many interesting facts standing out. Other example of a great classical composer suffering of low popularity because of his not-so-interesting lifestyle is old Haydn, the father of the symphony, who is always overshadowed by the naughty Mozart.

But I think that this injustice also gives greater merit to Bach, in that all his popularity is due to his music, and not any extramusical fact. It is better this way, you can know him much better through his music than through words.

You are fortunate to read this article, you are going to experience the most wonderful and deep music ever composed, you'll start a journey that will last a lifetime. You'll never get tired of Bach's music, if you start here you will love it and explore it for the rest of your life.

The best way to get in touch with Bach's music, or with music by any other composer is starting with the most well-known pieces, the ones you heard in commercials, movies, video games, etc.

I'm almost sure you've heard these pieces somewhere but never knew anything about them:

  • Air on the G string: One of the most famous pieces of classical music. It is featured in innumerable movies, anime series, video games, etc. Rock band Procol Harum wrote a song inspired by this piece that became a worldwide hit and it is still heard today: "A whiter shade of Pale".
  • Toccata and Fugue in D minor: the most famous piece written for organ. It is always associated with Halloween and horror movies. An orchestral version was featured in Disney's Fantasia.
  • Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring: the staple music of weddings.
  • Badinerie: a popular ringtone in cellphones. It is a flutists' showpiece.
  • Prelude in C major: This piece became famous by the musical setting by Charles Gounod of the "Ave Maria". He based this piece in the prelude.

Click on the resources below to download these pieces and read more about them. This is just to start, in these pages you will find a further guide with more information and essential pieces by Bach to download.

Psychological Effects

As well as a conscious mind, we also have a subconscious mind, which is the one that shows itself sometimes through our speech, manner and general behaviour or reactions in the form of purely psychological effects. These behaviour patterns, which are considered psychologically motivated, originating from our subconscious, are due to childhood experiences, sometimes of a traumatic nature or similar happenings – which we would rather forget – and the conscious mind refuses to remember – are “safely locked in or “stored away”; but in many ways make their “presence felt” through psychologically conditioned reflexes in behaviour patterns and unreal imaginings.

Such behaviour patterns, due to unreal fears, can make themselves felt in the form of: fear of water, venturing outdoors, fear of the unknown and similar phobias – being unreal and unjustified fears and therefore considered “purely psychological” in cause and origin, maybe due to some forgotten, but traumatic experience. Another “purely psychological” reason can be for a young woman, choosing to marry a much older man! If the reason is other than for “his money” it can be due to a father complex ( the dad she missed – and maybe never had – in her childhood). Also a deprivation during early childhood can lead to selfishness, showing in overeating, secret consuming of niceties without sharing, and similar tendencies, in adult life. It also can show as collecting or amassing strange items, thus making up for a childhood defect – the reason once again, most likely, being “purely psychological”.

Even the phenomena of seeing a mirage of a water fountain by someone lost in the desert and dying of thirst, falls into this category. The vision of the fountain being conditioned by the desperate need for water.

The feeling of claustrophobia in crowded rooms or enclosed spaces also classifies as psychological in nature. So can the sudden feeling of nausea or the sensation of being unwell be purely “psychological”. If all these are nothing but the deep seated causes, manifested and therefore fictions of ones own mind, surely one can cure most – if not all of them – by “facing” the feared memory, seeing them realistically, assessing them, and reasoning them out for a better understanding of their true nature and the absence of what causes the fears of the forgotten incident in the first place, and thus simply neutralising their adverse influences, perhaps bringing about a total cure as the fears lose their “terror”. Psychologists usually bring cures about by doing exactly that or through similar procedures.

Many people have “skeletons in the closet” in the form of unpleasant memories; but they need not – and should not – if faced and their true nature realistically assessed, become a “psychological nuisance” or, as in some cases, even a disturbance. As long as they have no serious repercussions other than harmless effects, who cares! We all have our idiosyncrasies in some way or another, most of which we spot in others, but fail to see in ourselves.

The Flex Belt Vs Slendertone – What Should You Choose?

The Flex Belt and the Slendertone are two products that are claiming to tone your abs, one better than the other. Both of these products are competitors and each of their manufacturers is trying to get customers to buy their products.

Just so that we can help you decide which product to choose, we will write down some points about Flex Belt vs. Slendertone to make your choice easier for you.

These two products are the most popular products when it comes to electrical muscle stimulation. It is these two products that are dominating in the market and the rivalry between these two products are never ending.

According to many customer reviews, people are satisfied with both products. They mostly have positive reviews about the performance and the end results of the products. But when it comes to discussing which product trumps the other, reviews on some websites are tilting towards the Slendertone.

People had a lot of good things to say about Slendertone. Perhaps the most common con that can be found in the Slendertone is the lack of a good guide for new users. According to one customer, the guide would help people use the belt in a manner which would prevent any back pains or posture problems because one customer faced the problem himself.

Other customers have good things to say about how the Slendertone brings good results in just a matter of few weeks and how no effort is required to end up with perfectly chiseled abs.

When it comes to the belt, customers are optimistic about the results of the Flex Belt. Some customers have complained about back problems after using the belt but most people do not have such reviews. Some of the users of the belt say that they never quite believed in such products but the Flex Belt does seem to be doing a good enough job.

It can be said from personal experience that if you are of a medium built and you are not looking for over toned abs, the Slendertone will work perfectly well for you. however if you are of a bigger built and your waist measures 47 inches or more, the belt will be more suitable for you and will give you better results for toning your abs.

Price wise, the Slendertone is about 100 dollars cheaper than its competitor, the Flex Belt. The Slendertone has a battery pack that is much better than the belt. Flex Belt has the plus point of fitting people who have a waist of 47 inches or more, whereas the Slendertone will cause some problems for people with larger waists.

We can conclude that because the Slendertone is cheaper, it is more affordable. In terms of features, it is less advanced than the Slendertone and is preferable for people who aren’t looking for a very extensive workout. The Flex Belt on the other hand is the opposite and is suitable for people who want to chisel their abs very perfectly!

Tips For Easy Speech Writing

I have been standing up in front of audiences for a very long time, but do not let that fool you; I still get really nervous when I do it! I find myself ruing the day that I said 'yes' to giving that speech, or the day I agreed to perform that magic show, but once I'm engaged with the audience there is no greater feeling and the nerves disappear ("just like that ").

I've dealt with audiences of over 500 people, won competitions, and both written statements for people and given them myself. But, because that little flicker of terror we all get when we hear the words 'public speaking', there really is no magic to it. Even the most nervous person can feel confident in front of an audience, and I would like to share some of my experience with you.

Everyone has to give a speech at some point in their lives and most people do not want to. Speeches can be nerve-wracking, potentially embarrassing experiences – and, as public speaking sends little shivers of terror careening down our spines, we often try to avoid giving them. But we do not have to! I'm going to share a few trade-secrets with you. Soon you'll be giving that killer speech and you'll have that professional edge you need.

Of course, all rules are made to be broken, but these guidelines are only meant to be structural aids. I want to help you be as original and engaging as you can be, but if you want to do it your own way then remember (to paraphrase Robert Mckee);

The beginner learns the rules The student learns to break the rules The artist masters the form.

How to write a speech

Some people say that speech writing is an art-form, and that may be true, but every successful speech has a recipe that includes several key ingredients:

  1. Timing
  2. Structure
  3. Length

And in order to get these right you need both to plan, prepare and to practice.

Planning Why are you giving a speech?

You need to remember that every speech you give has a purpose and every speech tells a story.

You should never underestimate your audience; they are an intelligent body of people, and a group makes its mind up very quickly. No matter what genre of speech you are trying to need to keep your story simple, entertaining and easy to follow.

You need to grab their attention and keep it. A good speech will have people on the edge of their seats; it will affect your listener and it can change their perceptions. Remember, a powerful speech has rhetoric; a brilliant one has the audience.

Prepare before you you start

Think about what you need to say before you start writing; know your audience and gauge the tone.

An ill-judged tone of voice will put you on the wrong foot. Public-speakers need to be acutely aware of audience expectation. Not to be too obvious, but a send-off speech at a retirement party will be quite different from an oration at a funeral. In both cases you need to lift your audience, but you would not want to start telling embarrassing tales about the chap in the coffin next to you. But it is always up to you to judge, and that can be the hardest thing.

You need to ask yourself what you need to achieve. Are you presenting facts and figures? Do you need to persuade your audience – or are they on your side?

What kind of speech is it?

Debating I experienced some powerful public speaking quite recently. I was in the audience watching three speakers debate the Natfhe strike action affecting University lecturers, students and management.

One speaker presented himself as a neutral party. I can not for the life of me remember or work out why he was there, another had my support and the other I was quite hostile to.

By the end of the debate I had changed my position completely. The neutral party disappeared into the background, but my initial hostility was turned around by powerful words, an excellent series of points and dynamic language. One speaker lost my support; – he got a planned, but ill-judged speech. He came across as being manipulative, uncaring, and as a genuinely bad-egg.

I am quite sure that this is not the case, but it was a lesson for me – never underestimate the audience, facts and figures do not speak for themselves and the audience, if properly worked, can be changed.

For the professional debater;

List each point or anecdote and use spider-charts to cover extra ideas you may have.

Rank them; choose your strongest points, leave your weaker ones.

Now you can start to structure.

The structure of a speech will depend on your purpose. Here I provide an example for a debate / speech. A send-off speech, best-man speech, speech of thanks, a funeral origin, and so on, will need to be treated very differently.

Each point you have on your spider-diagram has a logical place, list each point chronologically and write your speech accordingly. Keep your points in your intended order; the speech will seem more powerful if it follows a logical progression.

Here's what your plan might look like;

Five minute speech:

    1. Introduce yourself and your position on the topic 2. Outrageous statement – highlight your opponents major flaw. 3. Engage with your audience; address them directly with a rhetorical question. 4. Present the facts. 5. Compare your points with your adversary, highlight your strength and their weakness 6. Round up.

You also need to gauge the length. Do not write too much! As a rule of thumb each page should last two minutes.

You are constantly forming an impression on your audience. Repetition can be a very effective tool, but it can also be very dull and impede the progress of your argument. If you repeat yourself make sure you have a reason.

Practice giving the speech

The better you know your speech the better it will be received. Never, ever, ever read direct from the page. And if you suffer from horrible nerves there are several ways to kill them, but by far the most effective is to adopt a 'mask'. You are not being judged personally – and you will find it easier if you are an 'actor' playing the part of yourself. The moment you disengage with the objection that holds you back you will find yourself speaking with flair, you audience will enjoy it and so will you.

It's up to you to plan, prepare and practice and, if you do, you will succeed. Good luck!

Blue: The Holistic Solution for Nightmares, Stammering and Bedwetting

We all want our children to be healthy and happy. All too often though, our little ones suffer with issues like nightmares, stammering and bedwetting, and as parents we feel powerless to help.

However, with a little bit of know-how you can make a difference. In this article, I will show you simple, effective steps you can take to help clear the cause of these issues and heal your child.

Clear The Root

If you want to heal your child, you need to get to the root of the problem. The root of most children's difficulties is their accessibility to communicate and express themselves. If they can not explain to you what they are thinking and feeling, they will not feel understood and validated. If they do not feel understood, they will not feel secure. In some children, this undercoming lack of security will trigger all sorts of fears. In others, it leads to substantial frustration, which in turn can cause behavioral problems.

So, the key to all of this is to heal their block to communication and expression. If you can sort this out, everything else will fall into place. While you can not make your child more mature, or increase their vocabulary, you can unblock the communication energy center at the throat. Doing this will allow that area of development to blossom naturally.

Blue Cuddles Are The Key

The color which resonates with the throat energy center or Chakra is blue. This color has the effect of opening and unblocking the throat energy, and making communication feel easy and natural. This is what you need to do:

  1. Get yourself a warm, bright blue (not sky blue) blanket or shawl. Wrap your child up in the blanket and cuddle them. At the same time, play a game with your child of breathing in the blue color. This combines the healing color with your love and comfort; a very potent healing combination! Do this once a day or more often if your child is disturbed.
  2. Get a piece of Aquamarine crystal. Hold it, and focus your intention for your child's healing and self-expression into the stone. Place it under your child's mattress, making sure they can not reach it and accidently swallow it.
  3. Use Bach Flower remedies: Rescue Remedy, Aspen and Mimulus. Take four drops of each remedy and add to a little boiling water; this allows the alcohol to evaporate. After a couple of minutes, dilute the mixture with more water to approximately 30 ml and keep in the fridge. Kept cold, the remedy will last for four weeks. Give your child four drops four times a day. This combination will help with their stress, fears and anxieties, and will support the color healing. (Bach Flower remedies are available from any health-food store and are safe for everyone.)

The combination of the blue color energy and the Bach Flower remedies will make your child feel less worried and anxious, safer and more confident that they can express themselves. This makes them feel much more secure on a deep level. When your child begins to feel truly safe, you will see them relax and start to be at ease with themselves. When I used these simple techniques with my son, his nightmares and stammering just evaporated over a period of a few weeks. Not only did he feel much happier, but I became a lot less stressed too.

12 Things You Can Do To Stop Being Self-Centered

It can be easy to become self-centered and I can easily see why so many people become so engrossed in doing things for their own self interest.

Whether it is money you are after or climbing the corporate ladder, being self-centered seems to be the logical approach to getting what you want.

But you must remember this – if it is money you want, or that promotion, or that project you need to complete, you ultimately will have to rely on other people and people will be less willing to work with you if you are self centered.

You will also find that if you are self-centered, there will be no one there to help you in your time of need when you need assistance the most.

So here are 12 ways you can combat self-centeredness:

1) Really Listen

Really listen to what others are saying and try to absorb anything they tell you. This may seem like common sense, but when some of us are in a conversation, we are just hearing the words people are saying and not really understanding or listening.

Try to remember the things that are going on in others lives. Nothing is worse than asking the same questions to the same person each and every time you meet.

Think about it – how would you feel if every time you met a particular person, they have to ask you what you did for a living? To me, I’d feel as though they really never cared about what I was telling them the first time and that they were probably more concerned about themselves.

2) Offer To Help

If you can afford the time and effort, you should always try to offer help. Perhaps a neighbor or a family member is installing hardwood floors or installing a new garage door – offer to help.

Even things like offering to drive someone to the airport or offering to pick something up for them without being asked will make you really come across as someone who looks out after others.

These little offers to help go a long in building lasting relationships and even though they may be small favors, to others, it will feel as though you are going out of your way to help.

Normally whenever I tell others I’m doing something (like painting a bedroom) and someone offers to help, I usually decline the offer – but in the back of my mind, I’m very appreciative of their willingness to help. Those offers to help me don’t go unnoticed and I will usually be the first to come to the aid for those who have offered help in the past.

3) Be Humble

Got a brand new big screen TV or a new antique vase? Don’t brag and don’t bring it up unless others ask about it, and even when they do ask, you don’t have to make it out to be such a big thing.

Instead, let that new big screen TV or that antique vase do the talking for you. There is no need to point it out to others or to add further commentary lest you wish to make yourself seem more materialistic and more egotistical than you really are.

If all you do is talk about how expensive or how high the quality of your brand new TV is, you’ll not only turn off your audience, but you will also lose the intended effect the TV was supposed to have in the first place because others will begin to think “who cares?”.

4) Don’t Compare Yourself To Others

The Jones’ got a new car? A new living room set? A new BBQ set?

These are the kinds of things that can lead to jealousy if you are constantly comparing yourself to others. By constantly trying to keep up with the Jones’, you will slowly start doing everything and anything to keep up or to get a step ahead of them.

Are you one step ahead of the Jones’?

Well then there’s no reason for you to tell everyone that you are one up on them because if you do, this will just aggravate the situation and will only promote more of this competitive behavior by the “Jones”.

Instead, just be happy for the “Jones” – there’s no need to show who’s better than the other because in the end when you die, it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.

5) Get A Compliment, Give A Compliment

When someone gives you a compliment, give a compliment back to them.

It should be a great honor in itself to receive a compliment from someone and one of the best ways to thank them for the compliment is to give one back in return.

As an example, if someone says something like “You’re a good husband”, then come right back with something like “Well, I’m not as good as your husband! He’s much more ______ than me!”. You will be surprised at how well received your “rebound” compliment is taken.

In fact, this will encourage them (as well as others) to compliment you more often on the things you do well and perhaps even on things that you hadn’t even thought of. You will find that these compliments will only encourage you in everything that you do and will give the impression that you are thinking of others and that you are not just thinking about yourself.

6) Remember To Always Give Thanks

Whenever someone helps you, offers you things, or gives you things, always remember to thank them. Even if it’s a small insignificant thing, saying “Thank You” shows your appreciation.

Sometimes it may be wise to even go a little out of your way to show your appreciation. Things like taking someone out for dinner as thanks for something they did helps show how genuine your “thanks” really meant to them.

The last thing you want is to be thought of as being ungrateful because the more ungrateful you appear, the less people will be willing to do things for you.

7) Give Praise

If you talk about other people, try to praise them and keep negativity out of the conversation. Doing this will show the strength of your character because you aren’t negative about other people behind their backs.

Spread a little positivity when it comes to discussing other coworkers or neighbors and you will come out on top as a positive person. Before you know it, everyone will want to work with you or have healthy discussions with you.

If all you do is criticize or bad mouth others, people will begin to get the impression that you think you are better than everyone else and if word gets around about what you’ve been talking about, more and more people are bound to start talking about YOU behind YOUR back.

8) Whatever Actions You Take, Think Of Others And Not Just Yourself

If it’s more money you are after, don’t just think of it as having more money for yourself – instead think of the financial security this extra money can provide for your family and how you’ll be able to share the fruits of your labor with your friends.

Whatever it is that you do and whatever actions you take, don’t do it just to accomplish a self-serving goal – think of how it could be of benefit to others.

By having this mentality, you are bound to find others that are willing to help you and aid you in your cause. Not only that, the actions you take will be done for the greater good of many and will be much more rewarding once your goals are accomplished.

9) Keep An Open Mind

Uncle Ted declared bankruptcy again? Your cousin is pregnant out of wedlock again? Your friend Joe has been fired for the 5th time this year?

Before you start gossiping to others about the goings on about these poor individuals, stop and really have an open mind when thinking about their situations. Put yourself in their shoes instead of thinking that you are better than them.

I’d venture to guess that some folks would probably be delighted to hear such grim news about other people because it makes them feel better about themselves…they’ll start thinking “I’m glad it’s not me”, or even “Ha, look at his situation, I’m at least nowhere near his level of incompetence”.

Also think about how you would feel if something bad happened to you? If you are the gossiping type and something bad happened to you, I can guarantee you that others will be talking about it and I wouldn’t be surprised if others were happy that it happened to you. After all, you did the same things to them, didn’t you?

10) Be Genuinely Concerned About Others

If you hear someone was involved in a car accident or that a coworker is sick, be genuinely concerned about them. Even if you’ve never met the person in question, your main concern should be those whose lives they touched.

Ask if they are alright and ask if there is anything you can do to help. Treat everyone as though they are family – when you care about others, others will care about you.

By expressing your concern in this manner, you are letting others know that their concerns are also your concerns – something that is highly valued by most people.

11) Involve Others In Your Plans

If you are planning a road trip or even just a simple BBQ at home, ask if others would like to join. This will really show that you like the company of others and that you are willing to share your experiences with them.

Don’t think of how that road trip or that BBQ as something that should only be enjoyed you – instead think of it as being shared and enjoyed by those around you. Besides, the more the merrier and I’m sure you’ll have a much better time in a group than by yourself.

Whenever we’ve been invited to a road trip or even a vacation by other couples, I felt honored to have been included in their plans, even though I know that they’d probably much rather spend that romantic vacation on their own.

12) Be A Good Host

Whenever you have guests over, be a good host. Make your guests feel as though your home is their home and above all else, make them feel welcomed.

Remember to do the usual – ask if they want a drink, if they’d like to snack on anything, if you can put away their coat. This makes others feel as though you are putting their comfort before your own comfort.

It is that repeated concern for others that people will remember and will help make it less likely they will think of you as being self-centered.

Snoring: Sleep Disturber

If snoring could be filed as a disturbance of the peace, every cop in town would have their work cut out for them. Imagine all the complaints they would receive from groggy wives, kids, friends, and neighbors (if the snorer is that loud) because the snorer ruined their peaceful sleep. They would have to create a special department just for snoring disturbance because the complaints would be numerous. Snoring is that obnoxious noise you hear when the person sleeping next to is breathing through their mouth. It can drive you mad, keeping you up at all hours of the night, while the snorer is sleeping peacefully, unbeknownst to the havoc they reek. Of course the snorer will hear about their disturbance in the morning from an unhappy, got-no-sleep-because-of-you person.

The reality is everyone, or most everyone, snores. It’s a natural thing for us human beings. Annoying, but natural. The thing is, when we sleep we are supposed to breath through our nose not our mouth, which causes snoring. Our nose acts as a natural humidifier, heating, cleaning, and filtering our air. But when we breath through our mouth we receive cold, dirty air and that cold, dirty air drys our mouth and breathing passages which causes us to snore. And when we snore we deprive ourselves of that much needed rest. The cause of that snoring is very different from one person to another. One type of cause could be how your mouth is developed. The airways could narrow due to huge tonsils, a thick palate, or adenoids (tissues) in the throat. Drinking too much alcohol is another cause. Another cause could be nasal congestion or allergies, which are easily treated with over the counter medicines. Problems with your nose can be another factor. Sometimes, snoring can be a sign of a more serious problem that we are unaware of, but most of the time it is the bane of our existence.

Now, as I said before, snoring can be a sign of a more serious problem. If you snore and find that you stop breathing for a few seconds which will wake you up due to the lack of air, then something more serious is going on. Such a condition is called obstructive sleep apnea. Tissues in the throat block the airway, which would prevent you from breathing. The sleep apnea is characterized by periods of loud snoring and then silence that normally last ten seconds or more. The brain forces you to wake up with a snort or gasp due to the lack air. This process will repeat itself over and over again if left untreated. And if it is left untreated more serious problems could occur such as high blood pressure, heart failure, and stroke.

But such a serious problem as obstructive sleep apnea is rare where snoring is concerned. Most of the time snoring is just a nuisance. There are ways to relieve yourself of the problem of snoring. First off, weight can be an issue where snoring is concerned. The fat can narrow the airway because of its heaviness. The easiest way to cure yourself of that problem, if your weight is causing your snoring, is to lose the weight. Another solution is sleeping on your side instead of your back. Lying on your back cause your mouth to open, your tongue to roll back and narrow the airway, and cause you to snore. Nasal strip are another treatment you can use to cure your snoring. The strips open up your nasal passages more to allow better airflow and to prevent you from breathing from the mouth. Other treatments for snoring are medical treatments which you get through your doctor. If you feel that your snoring problem needs medical treatment, please consult your doctor before trying any treatment on your own.

Snoring is that obnoxious noise you hear when the person sleeping next to is breathing through their mouth. It can drive you mad, keeping you up at all hours of the night, while the snorer is sleeping peacefully, unbeknownst to the havoc they reek. Snoring is annoying, but easily treatable. It could give us a signal to a more serious problem that is going on with us. We don’t have to live with snoring for the rest of our lives. We can easily treat our problem, either through self-treatments or medical treatments.

Rhino Beauty – Choose the Right Plastic Surgeon for Your Nose Job!

A good nose plastic surgeon is also expected to confer any possible irregularities that may emerge after the surgery.

Certain Other Factors:

Other possible aspects that a nose plastic surgeon will converse with the patient is constitution of the nasal cartilages and bones, the face dimension, the age, the prospective, and lastly the quality of the skin. On the other hand, it is also quite essential for the patient to spell out the details of any previous nose surgeries or accidents to a nose plastic surgeon. A nose plastic surgeon also needs to be thoroughly informed about any specific side effects or allergies, during the course of any medicines, or frivolous drugs, if the patient smokes. A patient does not need to dither while asking any query to a nose plastic surgeon.

What To Ask And Not Ask Your Angels

When you open a conversation with your Angels, how do you know what's OK to ask Them? What are they willing to tell you-and what will they Reply to tell? Follow these guidelines to make sure you get the answer you need.

First, get clear on what it is you really need to know. Many people find that writing their question down helps them clarify what's really involved in the situation they face. To do it right, record your questions-and Their answers-in a journal used exclusively for your conversations with your Angels. You're likely to find that each conversation builds upon the last, providing even greater insight into your situation as time passes.

In formulating your question, try to avoid asking Yes-or-No questions, as they leave little room for your Angels to open your mind to new ideas, suggest alternative approaches or draw your attention to factors you might not beicing.

Instead, ask to be shown the Likely Results of a particular action, or the understanding Needed to deal with a situation effectively. Ask to be shown someone's True Character or Real Intent. Or where your true Joy lies or what is blocking it. Ask to be reminded of your Soul's mission, your purpose in this life. Especially ask for suggestions-the Timely Action, Right Path, Right Partner or Fulfilling Livelihood-that will help you accomplish that purpose, for this is where your Angels know you'll find your greatest happiness.

Do not, however, ask Them to make your choices for you, for it's your life, not Theirs. You are the Choicemaker in your life. They will never violate your Free Will. They know that you (like every other soul on the planet) came to this Theater of life to make choices and see how those choices work out. The only one who will ever judge whether those choices were "good" or "bad" is You.

Your Angels are at your side to assist you in creating the experiences that you-your soul-came to Earth to have. They're eager to help you remember who you really are, to help you develop your Inner Sight and access your own Intuitive Knowing. They want you to reclaim all your powers. So ask, and know that you will receive what you need.

For the clearest and most satisfying readings, use a spread. A good Oracle Card set will provide an array of spreads carefully designed to help you get answers about every aspect of the situation you face. The cards you actually draw for, say, the First Date Background Check spread or Soul Mate spread might be the same, but because of the specific meaning given to the order of each card as it's drawn, its message for you would be absolutely different. To get the Right Answer, ask the Right Question and use the Right Spread.

Like all good oracles, the WomanSpirit Oracles can help you access your Angels to get help with the mundane decisions of life-what to do about him or whether to move there , or enroll in that . More, they can reveal another's true Character before your heart gets attached. They can help you discern the True Intent of your co-worker's words or your baby-sitter's behaviors. They can lead you to the Right Career and free you from unnecessary "shoulds" and "have-tos" that limit your life and suffocate your soul. They'll offer new perspectives, open up new options, and suggest new solutions to old, painful problems.

Your Angels are also eager to help you develop (or, to put it more accurately, restore) your own psychic skills. Intuitive Knowing is your birthright, but it is, for most, a "muscle" that has atrophied from disuse. Use your journal with the cards to "test" your own sensings. Let your Angels show you where you're accurate and where you're not. They'll be guided to help you rebuild your true Feminine Power.

Your Angels are your devoted friends, ready to lead you to Joy and away from Pain. All you need do is open a channel of communication so they can give you the information you need. Why miss out on Their loving Guidance? Do it today.

Who Else Wants to Protect Their Eyes from UV Rays?

In the cloudy winter months, it's difficult to imagine the sun's rays as anything but a welcomed change. But did you know the sun's rays can also be harmful to your eyes? Ultraviolet light produced by sunlight is responsible for several vision problems, including snow-blindness, cataracts, and numerous degenerative eye conditions. The best way to protect yourself from these harmful effects is to always wear eye protection.

Ultraviolet light is light beyond the spectrum of light that is visible to the human eye, similar to x-rays or infrared light. It comes in three forms: UVA, UVB, and UVC. Earth's atmosphere filters out almost all UVC and much of the UVB light, meaning the major UV rays we encounter are UVA. Indeed, UVA is in part beneficial to human animals, as it is required source for vitamin-D production in the skin. However, overexposure to any or all UV rays can lead to advanced aging, skin cancer, or just good old sunburn.

When it comes to your eyes, however, UV rays are very damaging. Most eye care professionals recommend wearing sunglasses whenever you are going to see a prolonged exposure to UV rays. And, since UV rays penetrate our atmosphere even on the cloudy days, having proper eye protection is always a must. It's difficult to believe that light we can not see can be damaging to our eyes, but UV rays, whether directly from the sun, or even by reflection, pose a significant risk to our vision.

The peak hours for UV ray penetration are between 10 AM and 3 PM, when the sun is at its apex. Other factors increase risk, as well. Due to their unique atmospheric qualities, higher altitudes and locations closer to the equator see higher UV levels. You should consider all these factors when you know you have to be out in the sun for an extended period.

But, since most of us do not really have a choice regarding sun exposure – after all, most of us do not live and work in caves – having proper eye protection is vital. When choosing sunglasses, make sure they guarantee UV protection up to 98% (or to 400nm). Glass is large transparent to UV rays, so plastic or composite lenses tend to be a better choice. If your glasses have been coated in a UV filter material, they are even safer.

No matter what time of year, UV rays are always present. Although they tend to penetrate the atmosphere more during the warm summer months, they are also a risk during winter. Snow reflects UV rays, essentially letting them do twice the damage. Being aware of the risks of UV exposure is the first and most important step to protecting your eyes. But, with quality protective eyewear year-round, you can enjoy the warm, healthy sunshine carefree.

Jesus’ Focus on the Poor and Marginalized in Luke – Based on Luke 4 – 16-30

Jesus’ initial address at the Synagogue in Nazareth, chronicled in Luke 4:16-30, hall-marked the arrival of His mission to “bring good news to the poor.” This essay seeks to focus on this key event and to explore the Lukan focus of the ministry of Jesus, regarding His interaction, concern and works, to the poor, within the Gospel.

Strauss (1995) states that it is almost universally accepted that Jesus’ first sermon at Nazareth was programmatically significant for the Gospel of Luke. Indeed, all commentators referenced in this essay posit that Luke has a special focus on highlighting the plight of the marginalised, indeed Moyter (1995) declares that the Gospel of John, for instance, shows “no interest in the poor.” (p. 70). Strauss (1995) proclaims the idea that Jesus effectively states, in the Nazareth sermon, that He is the “messianic herald” by both announcing and also bringing fulfillment to God’s eschatological salvation. (p. 221).

This essay will focus initially on the theology of the Nazareth Synagogue Rejection narrative before detailing some of the works of Jesus that are highlighted in Luke that demonstrate the broadness of His interest in freeing the poor. Further, the use of the word poor in this essay is to be taken in the broader context, as Green (1993, 1994) and others put it, as for those who are socially outcast.

Strauss (1995) highlights Jesus’ analogies in vv. 25-27, in relation to Elijah and Elisha–their deeds in these verses in blessing Gentiles–that His public ministry would centre around the outsider, for example, the sinner, the tax collector, women, the lame, children, and non-Jews; most categorically, seeking the Gentile population. Whilst Strauss (1995) indicates this messianic calling sought to redeem the “‘outcasts’ in the Gospel”, he emphatically stops short of saying these verses announce “God’s rejection of Israel.” (p. 223). Until this time, the passages suggest the Nazareth congregation was simply amazed by Jesus’ words. In verse 28, however, we learn that they “were filled with rage” in response to Jesus’ comparisons of himself to these prophets.

Strauss (1995) elicits the strong link, theologically, of the books of Isaiah (prophecy) and Luke and Acts (fulfillment), for example, with reference to “light and darkness, blindness and sight” in relation to healing and the release of those ‘in prison.’ (p. 237). Indeed, there are intrinsic linkages in both Luke and Acts back to Isaiah (Strauss, 1995).

The quoting of the passages from Isaiah in Luke 4:16-30 proves most interesting. Hertig (1998) exegetes this in the justification of the ‘astonished’ responses of the congregation. He tells us that the framing that Jesus used when quoting the parts of Isaiah 61 and 58 used, that He is both proclaiming Yahweh’s freedom to the oppressed, but stops short of quoting the second half of verse 2 of chapter 61 – “and the day of vengeance of our God” – meaning that the Jews expectation of the Messiah to do just that is erroneous (also in Strauss, 1995). It is worth noting Hertig (1998) quoting Prior (1995) in saying that the combination use of Isaiah 61 and 58 “intensifies the social dimension of the prophetic message [providing] a striking corrective to any religious practice which is carried on without concern for the poor, and especially so when religious activity continues in the very act of oppressing them.” (p. 168). Strauss (1995) broadens the aspect of Jesus’ “royal-messianic portrait” by painting the picture that the Christ is not the type of Saviour that Jewish Tradition is really expecting. (p. 198).

Strauss (1995) agrees that the congregation at Nazareth we’re both amazed and offended by Jesus’ words. Hertig (1998) argues however that whilst the response from the congregation is perceived by Jesus as outright rejection, it is actually a positive response. This event is “transitional in the life and ministry of Jesus.” (p. 168). Green (1995) cites that Jesus says “me” three times in the passage. It is Hertig (1998) who raises Jesus’ intent to install the Year of Jubilee as initially referred in Leviticus 25 as part of the Messianic mission – “to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” and the phrase “sent me to proclaim release to the captives.” Strauss (1995) contends however, that whilst the jubilee theme may not be central to the Lukan message, he does suggest that eschatologically, it does apply to “release from those afflicted by Satan.” (p. 221).

In the exegesis of the passage Hertig (1998) shows that not only is Jesus “the bearer of good news to the poor, but equally the deliverer of the poor in their sufferings.” (p. 172). Moreover, this leads him to hypothesize that the deliverance is holistic in nature – bringing spiritual, physical, socio-political, and psychological freedom for those oppressed (Hertig, 1998).

The poor in the context of Luke are put in Old Testament terms as being those of “both social and religious humility.” (Hertig, 1998, p. 173). This shows us that the poor are not those just financially destitute, but those who are “victims of unjust structures of society.” (p. 173).

Green (1994) points out that in no less than six different places we see the use of the word ‘poor’ in Luke’s Gospel. He is quick to cite however that the word is used in quite different contexts, referring to many different kinds of suffering, including: the oppressed, mournful, hungry, persecuted, and some different forms of the physically impaired.

It is clear from the previous discussion that Luke’s Gospel portrays the core of Jesus’ ministry to deliver the marginalised of society. Again, Green (1995) shows Luke portraying Jesus “continuously in the company of those on the margins of society.” (p. 84). This section will discuss the actual outworking of the theology through some of the examples Luke brought us.

The story of Jesus and Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10) is topical in its use of the ‘rich man’ paradigm that Hertig (1998) shows us. Zacchaeus is shown to give half his possessions away and repay four times that he owes others. Zacchaeus’ deed demonstrates effectively the “jubilee theme” – the spreading of wealth to the poor – and he summarily receives blessing from Jesus. (p. 175). Seccombe (1983) shows how Luke skilfully places the Zacchaeus account after the blind beggar story (chapter 18), demonstrating Jesus’ deep concern for the salvation of all those estranged from God, the rich and poor; the socially outcast. Luke seeks to show that both Zacchaeus and the blind beggar are of equal standing in the kingdom of God (Seccombe, 1983).

In the Parable of the Great Dinner (Luke 14:15-24), Hertig (1998) displays the further use of jubilee language. The eschatological significance of this parable is profound. Not only will those who are invited to the Dinner, reject the invitation, but once new invitees are invited, anyone on the initial list who does arrive for the Dinner will be rejected! In verse 21 Luke quotes Jesus referring to the second invitees as “the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame” deducing that the ‘marginalised’ of society would be the beneficiaries of the second invitation to all.

The outworking evidence of Jesus’ ministry to the marginalised group in women is another recurring theme in Luke’s Gospel. Green (1995) shows nine key passages in Luke whereby women are portrayed in a positive light, being restored to life by repenting from sin, being benefactors of the Lord, and even being “spokespersons for God” as were Mary and Elisabeth in the Birth narrative. Indeed, it is in the resurrection narrative that women are blessed to witness the events and to believe much more readily than he disciples did initially. This shows the women in a much more godly light than men – “Their faithful witness is set in contrast to the response of the male disciples.” (Green, 1995, p. 93).

Hertig (1998) states “Luke’s jubilee theme of rich and poor is a promise to the poor and a challenge to the rich.” (p. 176). I have used this essay to highlight the Lukan message of Jesus’ ministry to the marginalised of society, framing it eschatologically, together with the Leviticus 25 jubilee theme; the evidence of which was lacking in Old Testament times (Hertig, 1998).

Green (1994) shows Luke’s focus to open the way to understand Jesus’ mission was, and is, and is to be, one of “proclaim[ing] release to the captives” and lett[ing] the oppressed go free” to their eternal salvation.
