Commercial Dog Food – Is It Poison?

Is commercial dog food killing our dogs? Maybe! With the recent pet deaths there have been numerous pet food recalls. The one constant is the unlisted ingredients of even major dog food brands.

For instance, many of the ingredients found in dog food have been outlawed for human consumption. Why? Because they have been proven to cause diseases like Cancer, Leukemia, Liver Dysfunction, Kidney Failure and many others. As for me, my dogs are part of the family. If there is even a slim chance that what I feed my dogs will cause one of those grave diseases I'm looking elsewhere for a food source.

Part of the problem is that manufacturers only list the ingredients on the package that they include themselves. What goes in at the rendering plants is not included on the labels! That is where the "poison" additives go in. Similarly, the rendering plants have little or no restrictions at all. With the most recent increase in reported pet deaths government officials have promised to look more closely at what actually goes on at some rendering plants. Until they do, however, all our dogs are at risk.

If you know how to make your own dog food you will be well served to do so. Many experts believe that feeding homemade dog food can even increase our dog's life span. At the very least, we can control the vitamins and nutritional proteins that our furry ingest. The additional life span will just be an added benefit.

Do not think our dogs can eat the same foods we eat. Their systems will not handle everything. Do a little research. Maybe even find a manual about homemade dog foods. There are plenty of them available. Most vets will try to advise us, but they are probably getting a commission on some brand of commercial dog food they recommend! If you do not believe this, just look at the posters on the vet's wall next time you take Fido for a visit. Tell the vet about your concerns and ask him or her to recommend some reading material on how to make good, nutritional homemade dog food.

Penis Enlargement Results: What 99 Percent of Guys Do not Know About Real Growth!

A lot of guys are enjoying a new improved penis size – thanks to the latest innovations that provide disorganized men with solutions for their undersized penal. But penis enlargement results are not all that pleasant, with a number of men becoming more miserable after they tested the remedies.

So what could be the downfalls? Well, some procedures and penile enlargement products that are currently available in the market can pose a lot of unwanted up shots, especially the bogus ones. Often times they are causing more harm than the benefits that they promised. That is why you need to learn more about a certain technique or product before you try it.

Here are some myths about penis enlargement results by some procedures and products:

Jelqing. This is a type of exercise that can make your penis appear longer, larger, and firmer. Many guys have already tested and proven this technique, and it is often recommended by many health experts. It is safe and free to use.

However, jelqing can alter the shape of your penis, especially if you overdo it. Some guys noticed that their penal bended or slightly slanted up. Aside from penile deformities, some men also experienced skin irritations after they tried the exercise.

If you want to utilize jelqing, be sure that you only perform it for about five minutes. Do not overdo it and do not apply a very tight grip on your penis. Also wash your hand before doing the exercise.

Injectables. They say that men who are using injectables will achieve penis enlargement results faster. However, this claim remains to be a myth. Solution gels that are contained in injectables often cause a lot of irritation. Not to mention, these distorts the proportions of the penal.

Injectables also brings many side effects. In fact, a lot of men experience some difficulty in urination after the solution gel was applied. Other reactions that you can experience are irritation, loose tissue around the shaft, and difficulty attaining erection.

Before you use injectables, be sure to consult your doctor to determine whether these are appropriate for your health. It also pays to use products that are tested and proven by experts.

Herbs. If you want an all-natural remedy for your undersized penis, then herbs might work well for you. For many generations now, men from other parts of the globe have been utilizing extracts of ginseng and nettle leaves to achieve a larger penis. These are also considered as effective aphrodisiacs that help men to maintain or to prolong orgasm during sexual activity.

Although not fully proven by science, these herbs offer promising results. In fact, these are also considered as remedies for prostate cancer and other problems in the urinary tract and reproductive system. Some turn these into concoctions and drink it to increase semen production.

But herbal remedies do not only promise penis enlargement results, but also side effects. In fact, you can experience allergic reactions and irritations after rubbing the extract. Guys, who drink concoctions, can potentially develop gastric disorders and suffer from abdominal cramping, vomiting, constipation, or severe diarrhea.

Therefore, it is still best to consult expert advice from your physician before using herbal remedies to improve your size. Do not apply products that you are not familiar with, and do not self-medicate if you experience any allergic reactions after applying herbal preparations.

Real growth can only be achieved if you use the products or techniques properly. If you do not want your penis enlargement results to become a failure, always be wise enough to determine whether a procedure or a product is fitting to use. It is best to talk to your doctor or read testimonials by former users.

Getting Things Off Your Chest?

The prospect who was most enthusiastic and asked you to call back is not taking your calls. The contact you met at the trade show, to whom you sent requested information, is not responding. The client who promised to provide a start-up date by the end of the week, after numerous calls, is not answering. The more junior team member who was asked by his senior manager to provide you with information has provided nothing. The prospect you have diligently tried to reach won’t return your calls.

What to do? Most salespeople know that it takes strategy, creativity, and persistence to reconnect and persuade. As the salesperson, it is your job to learn what is going on, achieve your objective, or determine if, in fact, an opportunity actually exists.

Equally important as knowing what to do when you face frustrating situations is knowing what not to do. While most of you already know this, because of a few things we have heard about lately from clients, it might be worthwhile thinking about what not to do.

Regardless of how annoyed or frustrated you may feel, the key is not to express that to your clients or prospects. Salespeople who leave messages or send e-mails that criticize or lecture the client are only shooting themselves in the foot. The salesperson who says, “At least have the courtesy to let me know,” or who questions the client’s way of doing business, is only slamming the door. By the same token, salespeople who cc seniors with criticism of the senior’s team are asking for trouble. While these kinds of comments may even motivate a response, which, by the way, is usually negative, the question is, at what cost?

Certainly it would be better if clients did what you want them to do or what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, but there is no such law where this is written. That doesn’t mean you can’t make a point, but the art is to do so in a positive way without a hint of criticism of the client.

For example, “Marie, I know how busy you are, and I (compelling reason for the client) would really appreciate an update on…I know this is important to you because…so that I can plan accordingly…(example) – a compelling reason for you. You can leave me a voice message or e-mail and a time to call you,” or “John, in regard to…I wanted to keep you posted. As soon as we get…I will get…to you. I know X is busy and I will follow up with her.”

Be persistent, be clear, but be polite to wear them down in a nice way. The only thing a critical or irate message from you might get you is that you may “feel better.”

But again, at what cost? Clients will, at a minimum, question your judgment and question if you are the kind of person they want to work with. The world is small. It is likely that, any bridge you burn, you’ll need to cross later. Another reason to manage your frustration is that you may be making the wrong assumption – the lack of response may be as innocuous as the client being too busy or it may be as deadly as the client absolutely not interested.

Never, in normal business situations (fraught with delays and disappointment), let your temper or frustration show through. Keep your criticism to yourself and avoid being judgmental. Use a more positive strategy of persistence loaded with customer benefits to help you get what you want, learn where you stand, or at least leave the door open in this ever-getting-smaller world.

Use Your Unconscious Golf Mind to Protect Your Golf Swing From Analysis Paralysis

I'm glad to be back talking about analysis paralysis and unconscious golf. These are two of my favorite golf psychology topics.

Concentrating on how you swing will often prevent you from playing your best and most natural game of golf. You probably recall similar messages from me that tie into the concept that there's a place for thinking consciously on the golf course. That's thinking about where you want the ball to go and how you want it to get there. There's also a place for trusting your unconscious mind to put your best swing on the ball, without any interference from the conscious mind.

I've heard over the years and read in some of the older golf books in my library about Ralph Guldahl a really great golfer from the 1930s. After a relatively slow start as a professional golfer, he ended up winning 16 PGA Tour events in a nine-year period. He peaked with three Major wins toward the end of the 30s, but never won again after 1940. His Major wins were at the US Open at Oakland Hills in 1937, the US Open again at Cherry Hills the next year and finally the Masters in 1939 . What's always seemed odd to me is that until recently, I've never come across anything about his record after that time. I guess that I thought he had died or was injured in the Second World War. Or despite, in a similar way to many great British golfers of the late 1930s, he never got back into winning again when professional golf competitions started up again after the war years.

So imagine my surprise when I came across an old news article that confirmed he had continued to play professional golf in the 1940s before becoming a successful club professional. The article went on to say that he had completely lost his game after taking a couple of months off in 1939 to work on his book "Groove Your Golf." He started to struggle after that and never won again after 1940. Paul Runyan, twice US PGA Champion, said of him, "It's the most ridiculous thing, really. 't play at all.'

So what happened? Well according to his wife, he went into such detail analyzing his swing, in order to write the book, that he could never play his natural game again. Others spoke of him practicing shots in front of a mirror, so that he could describe his exact movement in the book.

It certainly seemed to me that, up to the time he was commissioned to write the book, Ralph Guldahl played with a natural free-flowing swing that he had learned unconsciously. Other articles I've read suggest that he was very relaxed on the golf course and just took a few moments to plan his shot before hitting the ball. Until he started analyzing his swing for the book, he probably had never even consciously thought about how he swung the club while he was on the course. In fact, it seems that everyone described him as a natural gifted golfer.

So if you want to play your best golf on the course, leave your swing thoughts on the practice ground, use your conscious mind to assess the shot and then trust your unconscious free-flowing swing to hit the ball.

How to Get a Bigger, Stronger and Longer Penis Without Pills, Surgery Or Devices

As a woman let me tell you that yes size absolutely does matter. This is not to be condescending, but size does make a huge difference (no pun intended).

But let me stress that I would highly advise against getting surgery, pumps and taking pills to make your penis muscle bigger. All those methods are costly and gimmicks at best.

If you want to learn how to get a bigger, stronger, and longer penis, and have more control over it you need to start exercising your penis. Many people exercise their penis to gain more control of it as well, penis exercises are excellent for men suffering from premature ejaculation.

What Are Penis Exercises?

You may be laughing or wondering, “You want me to do penis exercises? Like put a little dumbbell or weights on my penis?” Fortunately for you exercising your penis is a safe and very easy method to increase your penis length and girth. It doesn’t require any weights or devices.

Like any other muscle of your body, you need to exercise your penis muscle. If you don’t exercise your muscles you know what happens you become weak, and flabby. I’ll give you an example of a popular penis exercise for beginners called jelqing.

Wet Jelqing

Before you do this exercise, as with any exercise, you must warm up. To warm up simply take a nice hot shower or use a warm towel of place it on your penis and the surrounding area.

You will need lubrication or oil; I recommend using olive oil, coconut oil, grape-seed oil or almond oil. Your penis needs to be 20-40% erect to do this. If you find yourself getting aroused, stop and then wait till your penis is again 20-40% erect.

Put oil all over your hands and your penis. Then make a circle with your index finger and your thumb at the base of your penis. Slowly run your two fingers down the length of your penis until you reach the end of the shaft, just under the head. Repeat with your left hand. Do 15 sets totaling 30 strokes each hand.

See it’s that easy. In two months time you will find your penis bigger, stronger and longer and you will have more control over it preventing premature ejaculation.

If you really want to learn how to get a bigger, stronger and longer penis I highly recommend you get the bestselling penis exercise book, now available as an eBook called Exercising the Penis by Aaron Kemmer. He explains how you can increase your penis size with full explanations and penis workout schedules so you won’t hurt or strain yourself.

Eating Rules and Guidelines for Diabetics and Diabetes Patients

The treatment for the diabetics involves a lot of dietary modifications, apart from the medicines. The basic treatment of diabetes starts with regulating the daily diet and by following some guidelines strictly. In many cases the blood sugar level can be controlled through the dietary modifications and physical workouts, without the intervention of any medicine. Regulation in the diet does not mean to starve, but it emphasizes on eating the right kind of food in right amounts.

Following guidelines regarding eating habits and the diet will be useful for the diabetics.

1. Instead of eating four square meals a day, it is advisable for the diabetics to adopt frequent eating in small amounts.

2. Including low fat and low carbohydrate foods like nuts, fruits, cereals and yoghurt, instead of French fries, chips and cookies.

3. Sandwiches, salads are better options, but one should avoid the fatty dressings of it.

4. Food prepared from whole wheat or other whole grains keep the stomach filled through the day as these take a long time to break down completely. Brown rice, brown bread and whole wheat pasta are ideal food for the diabetics.

5. Raw sugar, refined food, white flour, spaghetti, noodles, cakes, pastries and other fast foods must be strictly avoided, as these are loaded with calories and does not carry any nutritive value.

6. Packaged foods must be avoided as these contain high amounts of hydrogenated fats and oils that may shoot up the blood cholesterol level. It is better to carry homemade food.

7. Drink plenty of water when thirsty, instead of carbonated drinks. These drinks contain high amounts of sugar that instantly mixes in the blood creating a spike in the blood sugar level. It is wise to drink chilled bottled water, butter milk or lassi without cream.

8. Always opt for a fiber based diet, which will prevent the pangs of hunger. Fibers take a long time to break down and slowly mix in the blood. This helps in controlling the blood glucose levels.

9. Proteins must be included in the diet in good amounts. Proteins also take long time to digest and moreover they maintain the energy levels of the body. But one should choose lean protein and vegetable protein, instead of red meats and hamburgers.

10. Always try to eat food rich in unsaturated fats like olive oil, almonds, avocados, peanuts etc.

11. Diary products like yoghurt, low fat skimmed milk are rich in calcium that helps in maintaining the body weight. Calcium deficiency benefits the release of a hormone that aids in storing fat in the body.

Male Skin Care Facial Creams – How to Keep a Smooth Young Looking Skin

Women use different kinds of creams on a daily basis, although men do not buy a lot of skin care products, but they have become conscious about their grooming needs and the importance of having a great physical appearance.

One of the most important things men should do every day is clean, tone and moisture their skin. They need to have a daily skin care routine to protect their skin from the ravages of the environment and toxins that we are exposed to every day.

Even though men's and women's skin are similar, there are some subtle differences that are very important when choosing a facial cream. For example men have 20% ticker skin than women. They have more resilient elastin and collagen levels, which are the proteins that keep the skin shape.

Their skin is more resilient to the effects of aging, but there are other problems men's skin has. Their skin is usually oilier, that means you should not use skin care products that are too greasy or drying.

They should not use women's facial creams, their skin is more rough and prone to inflammation.

Also, some recent studies show that male skin is more sensitive to the UV rays of the sun than women and it can lead to skin cancer, this is why it is very important to use a sunscreen with potent anti oxidants.

Use a cream or gel that contains SPF of at least 15 and anti oxidant vitamins A, C and E.

There are other things that affect their skin every day and cause internal damage. Avoid smoking, drinking too much alcohol, junk food and take multivitamins.

The good news is that there are facial creams for men that contain natural ingredients, reduce the effects of aging, protect your skin from free radicals and moisturize the skin.

Social Anxiety Versus Life

Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) affects millions of people worldwide. In fact, SAD is the third largest mental health care problem in the world, affecting about 7% of the population every day (about 1.3% of the US population). Any person has badly a 13% chance of suffering from SAD during their life. Ironically, and unfortunately, even with itsvalence, SAD is often misunderstood and mistreated.

Social anxiety is the fear of social situations that involve interaction with other people, and those people can be friends, strangers or both. Specifically, social anxiety arises when people fear being judged and evaluated by other people; it can be triggered, in part, by being the center of attention, being introduced to new people, meeting people with authority and meeting people's eyes.

The symptoms of social anxiety include stress, intense fear, automatic negative thinking cycles, nervousness, a racing heart, blushing, trembling, excessive sweating. Of course, no one wants to experience these limiting and embarrassing effects of social anxiety. Thankfully, SAD is completely treatable and can be overcome, without the use of medication.

Social anxiety starts in one's infancy, at which time it is a normal part of development. In fact, social anxiety is closely tied to the "fear of strangers" that we teach children in order to keep them safe. It's not until adolescence and into adulthood that social anxiety really begins interfering with people's lives. And while the degree of social anxiety can vary greatly among different individuals, the feelings of anxiety are most commonly related to the anticipation of embarrassment, not the experience of embarrassment itself. In other words, people are not afraid that something might happen, but they are not afraid when it's actually happening (though there are other feelings of guilt afterwards because people feel judged).

People who suffer from SAD try to "treat" their symptoms by avoiding social situations as much as possible, but this is not the answer. People who do this regularly let their fear of experiencing anxiety interfere with their daily lives; soon people no longer want to go to work because they see it as a social experience.

However, being able tp overcome this common disorder can make you feel completely rejuvenated. Understanding the simple things you can do will replace your fear with composition, your doubt with confidence and your apprehension with enthusiasm.

Anxiety is not your destiny. Even if it has ruled your life for a long time, now is the time to let go of it. There are many hints and tips available that you can get at no costs. Implement them into your life and they will help you get rid of your anxiety. Do it today!

What Women Need to Know About Hip Bone Pain

Many women suffer from hip bone pain. It is more common the older a patient is, but can occur at any age. The bones in the hip and upper thigh are some of the strongest in the body. However, no bone or joint is free from potential harm. With normal wear and tear through life, common diseases, or a trauma that causes damage, anyone can end up with pain in their hip. There are a number of self-help methods that could ease symptoms, but you should always keep in good communication with your doctor about any new developments, to ensure you receive proper diagnosis and treatment.

Typical Causes

Most often, the causes of hip bone pain are due to overraining the hip muscles, bones, or tendons. Tendinitis and bursitis are both problems that involve inflammation of tissue around the hip. They occur because of performing stressful, repetitive activities. Muscle and tendon strain are caused the same way. They are all common conditions for women. Fractures are more common with the elderly and those involved in overly active activities causing frequent jarring or impact on the body, such as extreme sports and jobs. Arthritis is also a common cause of trouble with the hip. In some instances cancer could be a culprit.

Self Help Methods

Keeping the body strong can help prevent injury in the first place or can help the body heal. Proper nutrition and low-impact exercises can help maintain your weight (lesing the daily strain on the hips) and strengthen bones, muscles, and tendons. Swimming, yoga, and walking can all be very beneficial. Stretching can also help sore muscles relax and relieve their strain on tendons and bones. Placing ice packs on the sore area can help if the problem is due to inflammation. Many cases of hip bone pain can be treated with over the counter pain or anti-inflammatory medication.

When to see a doctor

Sharing any new development in your body is always a good idea when you see your doctor during your regularly scheduled visit. They can help diagnoseose issues and provide treatment options as they occur. However, if you experience severe hip bone pain that came on suddenly, then you should seek immediate medical attention. The appearance of warmth, redness, or swelling around the joint is also cause for alarm and should be inspected by a medical professional soon. It is also serious if you have just experienced a tragic event, especially if you heard a popping noise during the injury or are not able to put weight on the joint after it. Getting help quickly can help prevent further damage.

Treatment options

A doctor will make a treatment plan to fit the diagnosis. Treatments for hip bone pain could include physical therapy, during which time a therapists taught you proper postures and exercises. They will help you learn how to help your body heal and avoid injury in the future. A doctor also could prescribe over the counter or prescription medication to help with the ailment. In several cases, the issue could require surgery. In all cases it is important to educate yourself about the diagnosed condition and follow all doctor's orders, to ensure the safest recovery possible.

Remember to check with your doctor before taking any treatment or medical remedy.

Adding Color to Your Diabetes Diet Menu

People love to experiment with their diabetes diet menu to make it a little less repetitive and a little bit exciting. This is to help make it less hard to follow the meal plan that seems to become boring to many as time goes on. Adding a few variations is sometimes the best motivation. It may however also pose some threats to your health.

Do not devour the whole new meal in your diabetes diet menu immediately. Prepare the food at least one hour before your scheduled meal and then take only one or two bites and wait a little while and see what happens. Watch for any unwanted reactions your body may showcase. If nothing undesirable seems to be caused by the new meal help yourself and substitute it to the meal in the schedule.

Adding color

White bread and white pastas are only white because of artificial food coloring. They are made of wheat and naturally look brown. Food coloring is readily absorbed in the bloodstream. Artificial coloring has high glucose content which can result to sudden rise in blood sugar levels. This can be very dangerous because it is important that a diabetic maintains stable blood glucose levels. It is healthier if you choose non-bleached bread and pasta such as whole wheat and other whole grain variations. Whole grain takes significantly more time before being absorbed by the body. This means that it will not cause sudden rise in blood sugar levels and that the individual will stay full longer.

Moderation is a key factor in any diabetes diet menu. Meals should come in small package. Small meals at least six times each day is generally recommended. Small meals help avoid sudden spikes or drops in blood glucose levels. Certain foods that are tolerable but dangerous after getting past the safe intake limit such as alcohol and sweets should also be taken in moderation. You can reserve alcohol and sweets for special occasions and make them more worth celebrating.

Adding color has its advantages and disadvantages. A more colorful diabetes diet menu is more inviting to follow but also requires more preparation. Do not forget to experiment first before adding a meal to your plan. Consulting your dietitian is also a good option. Add the colorful foods in moderation. The improvement in the eating experience can never be worth the risks of losing control of your blood sugar levels.

Am I Really Obese?

Obesity is a body condition where one weighs more than normal and the very first evidence in sight of this condition is the person’s fatness. How will you know when you are already obese? Take a weighting scale, step on it and measure your weight to know. If your IBM is greater than 30 kg/m2, then you are already obese. In this point, you may already take steps to reduce your fats by losing weight. Aside from the slimness you will become, which is a much desired body figure, health issues are much more to be considered by you.

Obesity is bringing about health problems. To enumerate some, heart disease, diabetes milletus type 2, some forms of cancer, breathing problems, and more are the diseases that accompanies it. Although it is not conclusive that when you’re obese, you will then have cancer. However it gives you greater chances to have one. Some obese people too are afflicted by cancer by some other causes. It is therefore not conclusive that you have cancer because of obesity. It is to be noted that obesity is when your weight reaches above the normal, that is why, complications and illnesses cannot be unexpected.

Excess of fats in the body causes a person to grow bigger. Reduction or elimination of some amounts of fat is a key to be out from being one.

One’s lifestyle may have made one obese. Unguarded eating habits causes it. High fat food and drinks taken by a person accumulates in the body and makes a person fat. Fats are burned through the use of energy consumption by the body. Fat turns to energy when it’s burned. When a person has not indulged himself to energy-consuming activities, excess fats are in no way burned. Remember that our body has originally a normal system. It may not be able to perform tasks beyond what is normal. If you noticed, people with much activity, though they’re eating fatty foods, don’t get obese. It is because the change of fats to energy has become proportional or nearly to how often they take fatty foods.

Weight Loss is a result of reducing fats in the body. One way to lose pounds of weight is to exercise. This same exercise is a way to burn fat into energy. The frequent you exercise, the faster you see the results of pounds lost. There are different exercises. Stomach exercises eliminates fats in the belly. Jogging is also the best exercise to eliminate excess fats in your entire body. Dieting is also a way to lose weight. To stop feeding yourself with high fat and high calorie foods is to prevent further accumulation of fats.

Make a change in yourself. See that you choose to be healthy. Eat right and get enough exercise. After all, it is you who will either enjoy health or suffer illness. It is disappointing to be blocked by our illnesses from doing what we love to do. So, start now in eating healthy and living right.

Alternative Treatments For Allergy Sufferers

Doctors often prescribe medicine to treat allergies. But taking medicine has caused some allergy sufferers to end unnatural effects such as drowsiness and headaches. With growing concern of chemicals and pills, alternative approaches to treating pollen and springtime allergies are becoming more popular.

Interestingly, alternative medicine is being considered even by the mainstream. Approximately 40% of all Americans have tried some form of alternative medicine including some of the ones listed below.

Acupuncture is an age-old procedure that places or inserts needles to certain points in the body. To people who have never heard of this procedure, it might sound hard to believe that needles help someone with allergy prevention. However, a rising number of patients claim that acupuncture has helped them with their allergy problems.

In an acupuncture session, the therapist places needles on the face and corresponding areas of the body. To treat allergies, sometimes the Chinese herb moxa is placed on the tip of the needles. By doing so, the process is intended to clear the sinuses and restore normal breathing.

There's a philosophical basis for acupuncture. The Chinese believe in an energy force called the Qi, which flows through the body near the skin. Based on this belief, the Qi must be balanced through the entire body. If the flow is broken, deficient, or disrupted, the individual feels pain. By pressuring the points through one of the body, the energy can become balanced and ultimately restore the health of the patient.

Similar to acupuncture, massage can help the allergy suffers; particularly individuals suffering from sinus problems. Tightened muscles could contribute to congestion. By relaxing the muscles in the neck and face, the therapist can help get rid of the congestion and allow easier breathing.

Sometimes the best way to combat allergies is to fight fire with fire. Some have argued that eating local honey can help you treat allergies to pollen. The thinking is that the local honey has the native pollen and eating it would allow you to become more accustomed to the effects. With this alternative treatment, one can build natural immunities without the use of chemicals. Although there's no final study that supports this claim, many have claimed some benefits of applying this practice.

Others have claimed a well-balanced diet is a great way to fend off allergies naturally. There is no specific food or drink that prevails these reactions, but the overall goal is to live healthy. A healthy diet means a healthy body and system. And we all know that combating allergies centers on a good immune system. Foods with good sources of vitamins can contribute to this well-being. Vitamin such as B6 and B12 help the creation of antibodies and reduce the effects of airborne allergies. Other vitamin such as C and E are antioxidants that charge the immune system by improving white blood cell production and cell membranes.

Alternative therapies should not always be considered as a replacement for conventional treatment for allergy suffers. Consult with a doctor before applying any of the approaches discussed here. There are no specific studies that claim that any alternative treatments to allergies are very effective. As such, these alternative treatments to allergy sufferers should supplement medically prescribed treatments.

How to Find Out If a Baby Is Teething

Assume that you can see signs as early as three months. There are big differences for the beginning of teeth. Some parents may notice the signs as early as three months, with the tooth breaking through the gum at the age of four to seven months. Most children have all 20 milk teeth when they are three years old. If you pay attention to the signs of teeth, you can be vigilant to examine the mouth on your baby's teeth to relieve his discomfort and clean the baby's mouth of bacteria.

  • Make sure your baby wears more than usual within a few days. This can indicate teeth, especially if your baby has other symptoms. However, you should be aware that excessive crying may be a sign of flatulence, colic or other ailments, such as: B. an ear infection.

Check for changes in the food pattern. Since teeth can make your baby uncomfortable in the mouth, it can affect their eating habits or patterns. Pay close attention to how much and whether your baby eats, which may be a sign that may indicate the breaking of a tooth or a teeth.

  • Make sure your baby is suddenly breastfed or drinks out of the bottle when it's usually on solid foods. This may be because a fork or spoon irritates the baby's inflamed gums. Or maybe your baby prefers to eat solid food because the pressure of the cutlery on the gums feels good.

  • Put a damp washcloth in the fridge or freezer for 30 minutes and let your baby chew on it. Make sure that the washcloth does not become tough, as this can squeeze your baby's swollen gums.
  • Cool a rubber teether in the fridge and give it to your baby. You should never place such rubber rings in the freezer or cook them for sterilization. Anxiety Attack

What characterizes anxiety is the maladaptive fear that occurs during anxiety attacks. You might have read somewhere that anxiety is man’s basic response to various stress-provoking experiences that are directly connected with the fight-or-flight response. This mechanism usually saves man’s continuity since the early evolution.

Maladaptive fear is when the fear felt or perceived is not proportionate with the actual amount of fear being produced by the stressor. Also, it could be the unrealistic concerns involved.

For example, people who are aware and fearful that they might hit some on the road could be categorized as realistic fear. However, people who have constant fear that they could be attacked by vampires no longer have healthy minds and thus, manifest symptoms of unrealistic fear.

Also, maladaptive fear is characterized by the duration of response to anxiety stimulus. Usually, a person under the normalcy of behavior would feel that the anxiety subsides after a threat ends. But people having symptoms of anxiety disorders and attacks are incapable controlling persistent anxiety. Also, their symptoms of anxiety would extend to considerable periods of time, often until the manifested fear can no longer be connected to any apparent reasons.

Anxiety and anxiety attacks are prominent symptoms that could be associated with many psychological disorders. For example, people suffering from schizophrenia report of experiencing anxiety attacks. Or, the majority of people with serious depression also undergo series of anxiety attacks. Phobia patients and those suffering with generalized anxiety disorders could also experience anxiety attacks. In fact, it was recognized by Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis that anxiety (or neurosis) is the underlying cause of all psychopathologic disorders. It is no wonder therefore, that anxiety attacks could be observed in a wide range of mental disorders.

But how does anxiety attacks begin?

There are diverse explanations as to what causes anxiety attacks or what are the root causes. As in most cases, anxiety attacks seem to come out of the blue. However, this is not a concrete explanation since the mind could not produce internal tension on its own, unless some biological factors intervene such genetic pre-disposition of chemical imbalances in the brain.

Anxiety attacks could also be situationally predisposed. Therefore, certain situations may trigger the attacks of anxiety and sometimes, panic but it is not necessary that they will always have anxiety attacks when exposed to the same situation.

For example, a patient with anxiety attacks may feel severe dread, trembling and fear of going crazy whenever he crosses a relatively harmless chicken. (Note: Anxiety attacks and the stimuli that trigger them are commonly irrational. So having extremely uncomfortable feelings around a chicken may elicit erratic behaviors.) OR, she may have feelings of reliving the same traumatic experiences she had ten years ago. The sensations and images in his mind are so real that she really can feel the same pain she had during the actual event. And every time she has attacks, the same feelings will flood her.

The frequency of panic attacks differ n case to case basis. But observably, some people seem to have sporadic attacks that may occur during a very short period of time say, everyday in a week. This will then be followed by a period of rest and the symptoms would reoccur sometime later. However, for some patients attacks could be regular but less frequent such that there may be anxiety attacks once in a week in a period of two months. In between anxiety attacks, the patient may have minor bouts of anxiety.

Another common observation with people suffering from anxiety attacks is that they often believe that they have life-threatening diseases. Indeed, some patients feel that they will die of heart attack, seizure and other types of physical crisis if no immediate actions are taken. They also commonly believe that they are about to lose control or they would go crazy if they could not release the tension that resides in them. Thus, people with panic attacks are often observed to perform irregular behaviors that might not have logical meanings in the eyes of the observers.

Despite of the eccentric symptoms that patients of anxiety attacks display, this disorder is still not considered as psychosis since the person is aware of the irrationality of his thoughts and behaviors.
