Avoid Bacteria With a Bio-Latex Mattress

According to the latest scientific studies, various kinds of bacteria and fungi like Salmonella, Staphylococcus and other skin disease-trigger fungus will die if they are forced to cling on latex rubber like those commonly found in hospital, treatment facilities, hotels, etc, including your house. A series of test conducted by Winconsin Research Foundation in a program sponsored by Latex Foam Rubber Council showed a significant amounts of decreases of bacteria in 6 hours. The reports mentioned that, Sample from the latex was activity tested on each testing for micro-organism by way of wetting the latex with Broth-Bivone serum filled with bacteria that will be tested. In every test, we found a significant decrease of bacteria quite rapidly. To be noted, Broth-Bivone serum is the one provides food and an ideal place for bacteria to grow.

Latex mattresses is also stay fresh much longer, even in a humid temperature in a long period of time, due to alkali salt in Thiocarbamate set as the active property in the making of latex foam. This chemical property is mixed in the foam, making the protection to last. Printed latex foam in pillows, mattresses and other materials with this property will also help killing the bacteria.

Certified Rolfing & Rolf Movement

Since my Rolfing endeavor began, one thing became clear, Rolfing uncoupled from movement cues will not get the same results. What once seemed abstract, except for the occasional “aha”, now seems much more tangible. It seems that which begs the question “What is Rolfing” is also begging the hallows of movement protocols as well. Here is how I have incorporated movement into table work with a client through session 5:

First hour working with 3d breath exploration on table and standing in gravity.

Second hour: Rolf Yoga on table and seated on floor, coupled with standing traction.

Third hour: Arm drops and ocular uncoupling of limbs of expression.

Fourth hour: Connecting eye of foot with pelvic floor and ocular uncoupling with limbs of support.

Fifth hour: Walking bell clapper: moving from LDH and exploration in sensation of letting anal triangle “go”.

My training in martial arts and yoga affords me the opportunity to work with movement in a unique way. There are dynamic postures that I feel have the ability to evoke contra-lateral movement if done with movement cueing and possibly without. For example, fighting monkey, playing monkey, kimodo dragon, water wheel and others. Walking with awareness of the spine and its 2 girdles ability to counter rotate each other in gait cycle, the loading, unloading, reloading sensation emerges. I also like the imagery that rubber bands are connecting the two girdles, upper to opposing lower on both sides, so that when walking there is a sensation of one band shortening bringing shoulder and hip closer while the other is lengthening.

With the client supine I start with 3d breathing. Then I place his feet into my thighs as I stand at the end of table, as connected to the earth in standing. Guiding the client to allow one shin to float towards sky while allowing the other Gastroc to be heavy towards the table. Essentially flexing one knee and extending the other slightly, guiding him as if he were walking. Imagery of walking through ankle high water then up to knees and pelvis, cultivating a relationship to LDH (both sides) 30 min.

Rolf yoga 5 min. Walking exploration of relationship of heaven to earth with him being the cream filling (weight/volume) 5 min. Vestibular-oculo-cervical reflex 20 min. He had great results and a fun experience, also relief from back and shoulder pain. Buoyancy! He could not believe that he felt “as if” he had received the same results from manipulative sessions.

Impression-weight, plantar surface stimulation, shape, volume, inside/outside

Expression-3d breathing with impression, fixed diaphragm inhibits expression

Coordination-inhibiting inhibition, cueing with one posterior leg heavy the other anterior leg floating, and imagery of walking through different degrees of water depths.

I believe that negotiating these elements of sensation affected the clients gravity response changing his tonic function and getting results.

When to Start Taking Supplements

For some reason, there are many people that use supplements, but really have no idea when they should be taking them. Whether its pre or post workout, or even when to actually start using them.

The one thing that I've noticed, particularly with teens and adults that are just starting to take body building supplements, they do not do their research prior to using them. It is very important to do so, otherwise it is very possible that you may misuse the products and not get all the benefits needed out of it. So to get started, when should you start using supplements?

Before even considering using any supplements, you will have to make sure your diet is healthy. That does not mean you should go on a diet, but simply eating healthy foods and making sure you're getting all the right nutrients needed for you body to be able to build muscle naturally.

Once you have proper eating habits and keep track of what you put in your stomach, then you can start considering supplements such as whey protein powder , or creatine, which are very beneficial for your health, regardless of if you're body building or just getting healthy.

As for the matter of when you should start using supplements, that really depends on what you're goals are. For example, if your body building, you're going to want to take your supplements as much as you possibly can through your day, whether it be pre and / or post workout supplements. The one thing I can not stress enough is the fact that you can not allow yourself to let these supplements affect your diet.

Whether you are a 15 year old teenager trying to impress a girl that you like by getting toned and buff, or you're a middle aged man trying to get healthy, that does not change that you're going to need to make sure you are getting the right nutrients to the right parts of your body. One supplement that is very useful when doing this is creatine. What it does is it helps disperse the right nutrients and energy already in your body to the muscles that need them the most when you're about to or after you're done working out.

At the end of the day, it comes down to one simple thing, making sure you're educated before using a supplement of any kind. Reason for this, as it's been said before, it will be much more beneficial to you since you will know the exact amounts that you need to take, so you can get the most optimal results possible.

Water and Health

Water is the life blood of every living thing in the world. Most of the earths surface is covered by water. Plants, fruits, vegetables, Animals, and Mammals need water to survive. Humans are no different. Water should be the beverage of choice for all of us. Sadly it is not. As a result some people suffer the consequences of not making significant water drinking a daily priority.

As I grew up my mother would always tell me to drink eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day. I’m assuming she heard this somewhere. Perhaps she heard it on Oprah or one of the talk radio shows she used to listen to. I can still hear her telling me to drink lots of water till this very day. At times she would not let me drink anything else until I had met my water requirements for the day. Often I would tell her I had drank enough water at the water fountain at school so I could drink kool-aid or soda. That response never worked. Most of my meals as a child were occupied by a glass of water. I’m thankful that she created the habit in me to drink water regularly because it has afforded me good health. Currently experts actually say you should drink water with meals because it helps the body feel refreshed.

Seventy percent of our body is made up of water. Half of our weight is water weight. Water aids in our internal systems working properly. Our blood and cells are mostly made up of water as well. When we don’t drink enough water our bodies actually retain water. We can tell that this is happening because our urine will be dark yellow. This is the bodies way of telling us that we need to drink more water. On the contrary when our urine is light yellow or clear our body is getting rid of excess water because we are fully hydrated. You really want to stay on this end of the spectrum.

Some experts say we should drink half of our weight in ounces of water a day. If it is warm outside we should drink more water than usual. While exercising or doing strenuous activity that causes us to sweat we should drink water before during, and afterwards. If we do not do this we may become dehydrated. There are a lot of unhealthy consequences that come with dehydration such as fainting, headaches, strong smelling urine, and many more you don’t want to experience.

There are many ways we can get our daily dose of water. Foods we eat such as fruits, and vegetables contain lots of water. Natural fruits, and vegetables are the best source not those that are processed in a bag or can. Many of the drinks we drink daily have lots of water in them even coffee. However, be careful not to totally depend on juice, soda and kool-aid for your hydration sources as these drinks have high sugar and calories that aren’t good for the body in high doses. Pure H2O is always a pure and elite source of hydration. In addition for every serving of alcohol we drink we should drink a cup of water to subdue it because alcohol actually absorbs water.

I am aware that many people just don’t like the taste of water. There are many water supplements on the market that give water flavor as well as added vitamins and minerals that are actually good for you. Pleading The Blood Of Jesus For Freedom From Oppression Of The Devil To Enjoy God’s Blessings

Do you feel you are under siege so as to succumb to what is not your portion in Christ; such that no matter what you do it seems as if you will never come out of it? This is the case of many believing Christians. You know the promises of God to you, yet they seem far-fetched. The good news is that there is a solution to this – the blood of the Lamb. This article encourages you to plead the blood of Jesus Christ so as to be free to enjoy your inheritance in Christ Jesus.

As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit – Zechariah 9:11 (NKJV).

“And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance – Hebrews 9:15 (NKJV).

Many people have given their lives to the Lord and are truly serving God with all their hearts, but they are still under the attack of the enemy in one area of the other. You may have prayed, fasted and engaged in many kingdom activities but the challenge is still there. The challenge may not be weighing you down or eating you up because of the joy of the Lord in you, but it is still there denying you the blessing of God so that your joy may be full. It’s time to plead the blood of the covenant.

You have a covenant with God sealed with the blood of Jesus, which gives you access to the eternal inheritance in Christ. The price was fully paid for by the Lord with His blood. The enemy has no legal right to still hold your blessings. However, until you state your case with the finished work on the cross, he will still withstand you.

There is a court room in heaven where you are to plead your case. God said in Isaiah 43:26 that you should come and argue your case and prove you are right; you are to put Him in remembrance. The enemy, the accuser, is always there, day and night accusing the brethren. The good news is that we overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.

When you plead the blood of the lamb you are putting God in remembrance of what Jesus did on the cross, how He had cleansed you from all sins, entered the holy of Holies to fully release you from darkness and deliver the inheritance to you, and how He sealed the covenant with His blood. The blood of Christ makes God to see the Lord’s righteousness and not yours; by the blood He doesn’t see the sins earlier committed. This puts you in the right position to receive from God.

God said in Zechariah 9:11 that because of the blood of the covenant, He would set the prisoners free from their bondage. It’s time to plead the blood of the covenant and be free from the siege. Your righteousness will never defeat the accuser because it is nothing but filthy rag but the blood of Jesus will, only have faith in the finished work of Christ.

Therefore, equip yourself with the knowledge of the power of the blood of the covenant, go to the court room of heaven in prayers and plead your case. Like the widow in Luke 18:1-8, give God no rest till He avenges you of your adversaries. He promised to do so even if He bears long with them. So, plead the blood today and be justified, and return with your testimony.

How to Open a Stuck Perfume Bottle

An expensive or vintage perfume can come with a stylish glass bottle and stopper. But the glass stopper can get stuck and stubborn to remove if the perfume hasn’t been used in a while. The stopper can stick in place for several reasons. This can relate to the stopper expanding or a glue-like seal forming between the bottleneck and stopper. It is possible to avoid these issues by lifting the stopper every so often and making sure to wipe up any excess perfume.

Here are several non-destructive methods to manage the stuck stoppers:

Modern Splash Bottle

If you have a modern splash bottle with a stopper or cap it often helps to use a towel, rubber band or similar item to help get a better grip. This can magnify your strength and make it easier to twist or pull the stopper. If that doesn’t loosen the stopper, hold the perfume bottle under a hot water tap for 30 to 60 seconds. The change in temperature should help to create convulsion and make it easier to twist the cap.

Another option is to place the perfume bottle in the refrigerator and leave it to cool for about 15 to 25 minutes. This again relies on the difference in temperature to help loosen the lid. A further method includes using the microwave oven. Place a damp kitchen towel in the microwave and heat for 5 seconds. Wrap that around the stopper and leave in place for a couple of seconds. Now twist gently to open the bottle.

Vintage Bottle

With a vintage bottle it is necessary to be more careful. A precious or valuable perfume bottle shouldn’t be exposed to water or cold since this can smudge the original paper label or damage the brittle glass. A preferred option to sort the issues with old splash bottles with a stopper is using pure-grade alcohol (90 percent plus proof). Soak a piece of cotton wool and place it on the neck of the stopper. Squeeze the cotton wool to release one or two drops of the alcohol. The alcohol should start to dissolve the buildup of residue within 4 or 5 minutes. The twister should now be easy to remove.

By using the proper methods it is certainly possible to remove the stuck stopper without causing any damage to the bottle. Always make sure to avoid excessive pulling or twisting of the stopper as this can quite easily caused permanent damage to the bottle.

Choosing Running Gear

Shoes:

Choosing suitable running shoes is the most critical task before embarking on your running journey. When I first started running, after overcoming the unavoidable stitches in the first few weeks, I began feeling dull pain at the front of the lower leg. My personal trainer told me I had shin splint and advised me to see a physiotherapist who told me I needed custom made orthotics in my shoes because I have flat feet. He explained that because I am flat-footed, I most likely over-pronate, meaning my feet roll inward toward the center of the body when I run.  Therefore I also need to buy running shoes that will help maintain stability, that means I should look for words such as ‘solidity control’ or ‘action control’ in the shoes features. I also was told certain brands such as Brooks or Asics were performing better than others. Personally I have had Brooks shoes for the last few years and I have never had shin splint ever since.

As for people with high-arched feet, they most likely under-pronate, or supinate meaning their feet will tend to roll outwards away from the body as they run.  They will need to look for shoes that will absorb a lot of shock, that means checking for keywords like cushioned or flexible in their description.

For lucky people with neutral feet which are the least prone to injury, almost any running shoe will do.

In all cases, the shoes should be tested to see if they are comfortable and not too tight or too loose. Another thing to keep in mind is to replace your shoes when you notice uneven wear in the soles of the shoes, usually after 1-2 years depending on how frequent you run.

Clothes:

I think choosing suitable running clothes is the second most important thing to do to ensure you have an enjoyable running experience. You do not want to feel all wet and sticky in your clothes when running. Personally I always look for Nike Dri-Fit clothes since they are most comfortable to wear and they fit me very well. If you are a tennis fan, you would know that Serena Williams loves Nike clothes as well. They are also long lasting since I have been wearing this Nike singlet for the last 5 years and I expect it could last another few years as well. You also could look for names such as Coolmax and Dri-Weave. They all mean that the fabric has the ability to draw sweat away from the skin to the outside of the fabric.

Socks:

The next task on the list is choosing suitable socks. You do not want your feet blistered after a few runs. I have been wearing Thorlos socks and in my opinion, they provide the best insulation and cushioning. Although they are pricey, they can last for a number of years. You may also look for names such as Coolmax, Dri-Weave, or Dri-Fit.

Cap and sunglasses:

Last but not least, cap and sunglasses as well as sunscreen are essential when you are running under the sun. I also find Nike Dri-Fit cap very comfortable to wear since I do not feel sweat sticking to my scalp when running. Sport sunglasses help to avoid the glaring of the sun and prevent sweat running into your eyes. Sunscreen is also a must if you do not want a batch of freckles to appear on your face after a run.
