Here a few secrets for brainstorming a memorable opening:

1. Some speakers like to start by posting an interesting question to the audience. The reason why this type of opener works is that it forces the members in the audience to come up with an answer. Eg. – “What is the leading cause of death among teenagers?

2. Another tactic to use is an outrageous or challenging statement to grab attention. An example might be: “Your grandchildren may never see an elephant due to poachers that threaten extinction all in the name of ivory tasks.”

4. Arouse curiosity in the audience. 3. Vegetables: Enjoy unlimited raw, steamed, or baked vegetables. Many vegetables contain carbohydrates but that is OK. You must rearrange your eating habits to accompany this. Try cutting out sauces or heavy dips.

4. Lean Meats: Chicken, fish, and lean cuts of beef. If you are able to purchase these from a butcher then the quality is usually better and you know exactly what you are getting.

5. Fluid Intake: The best thing to drink in water. This includes the flavored water. If you do not like plain water there are now multiple products on the market that you can add to your water that are calorie free. Diet soda is fine in moderation. Diet soda contains sodium that can contribute to water retention.

When it comes to dried fruits you need to eat them in moderation. They are extremely concentrated. The difference in fresh fruits and dried fruits is fresh fruit is loosely packed, high in water content, and dried fruit is weak with little or no water.

Experiment with different recipes that include mixing vegetables and grains together, or mix the lean meat with grains, or lean meat with vegetables. If you think that you need a little flavor use a little olive oil or sesame oil. The possibilities are endless.

Do not make yourself feel like you are on a diet. Just learn to eat healthy and your body will stay satisfied. If for some reason you had a bad day and did not eat healthy, that's OK! Start over the next day. Or if you overate during one of your meals make adjustments to the next one. Never skip meals.

There is no magic diet, diet pill, or lose fat quick recipes. Many of the weight loss claims are fraudulent. The way to lose weight permanently is eating healthy an staying active. With success comes confidence, energy, health, and a great attitude!

Simple Weight Loss – Fast and Easy

Overview If you are like me then you don’t actually like the dieting process you like the end result. That is why when I need to drop a couple pounds I like to do it as fast and as simple as possible. I have written about how to accelerate your fat loss before but today I wanted to talk about simple dieting and using food repetition to make it even simpler. One thing I know is true simple works.

Lets look at Slim Fast as an example.

Tommy Lasorda (you remember him from the Slim Fast commercials right?) would have a shake a breakfast, a shake at lunch, and would try not to eat his entire kitchen for dinner. Guess what? He lost weight (the kind of weight, speed of weight loss, and if he kept it off is a whole different story). Tens of thousands of people have taken this Slim Fast approach to weight loss and succeed (for a short time period at least).

Why does this work?

1. Easy to follow Drink a shake now. Drink a shake later. It doesn’t get easier than that.

2. Controls Calories 1 shake has a set amount of calories. You cant over eat with a shake.

3. Fast Open shake and drink. Who doesn’t have time for that?

The main problem is that the Slim Fast shakes are garbage. You can do a lot better for your body and enhance your fat loss by making a couple simple tweaks.

1. Make your shakes protein dominant Find a good protein powder that don’t ruin the taste of your shakes.

2. Get a blend of fats Use walnuts, flaxseed oil, etc
