Allergy Effects on the Pancreas and Small Intestine

The pancreas is a long, narrow gland which stretches from the spleen to about the middle of the duodenum. It has three main functions. Firstly, to provide digestive juices for everything that goes through the duodenum. These digestive juices contain pancreatic enzymes in an alkaline solution to provide the right conditions for the digestive process to be completed in the small intestine. Secondly, the pancreas produces insulin, the hormone which controls blood sugar by the metabolism of sugar and other carbohydrates. Thirdly, it produces sodium bicarbonate to neutralize acids coming from the stomach and so provide the right environment for the pancreatic enzymes to be effective.

Many people with food and chemical allergy problems have an inability, either to produce a certain enzyme, or to produce enough enzymes for the digestive process to work effectively. In conjunction with this is an ability to produce sufficient sodium bicarbonate essential for the pancreatic enzymes to function properly. As a result, partially digested peptides (protein particles) are absorbed into the bloodstream and attach themselves to other proteins, thereby inducing further allergic reactions. The inflammation in the system, resulting from continuing allergic reactions, can focus on a 'target' organ, causing injury and, finally, serious disease. This can often happen to the pancreas, so the initial malfunction may, not only accentuate an allergic response, but may also lead to further inflammation of the pancreas itself.

Clinical ecologists have discovered that production of insulin by the pancreas is directly related, not only to the intake of carbohydrates, but also to the ingestion of all types of food. They have also noticed that insulin production is altered by allergenic foods. Accordingly, this abnormal insulin reaction can be used to identify the offending allergen, by giving a person a standard dose of the suspected food, or chemical, and observing its blood sugar level after a measured time.
The pancreas therefore is an important organ in the mediation of both addiction and allergy. Very often it is the first organ in the body to be significantly affected by any allergen.

Small Intestine:

The small intestine is a narrow tube, about six meters long, which empties into the large intestine or colon. It is a vital organ of the body as it carries out most of the digestive processes.

After being mixed with hydrochloric acid in the stomach, food passes through the duodenum into the small intestine. Here, enzymes secreted by the intestinal wall set about the biochemical process of breaking down the food into its various chemical components. Absorption of these components then takes place through the villi, which are tiny finger-like projections in the intestinal wall. In this way the body receives its essential nutrients of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes.

Food allergy problems usually cause some damage to the small intestine. In the case of grain allergies, this can be serious and even result in death, through intestinal cancer. At best, damage to the villi and intestinal wall will cause malabsorption: a reduction in absorption of essential nutrients. This leads to exacerbation of the allergy problem with further food intolerance development. The intestinal wall becomes porous and allows undigested food particles to enter the blood stream, causing further havoc to a floundering immune system. Occasionally, a complete breakdown in health can occur.

Colon Health and Dysbiosis

Dysbiosis is the imbalance of bacteria in the colon, or bowel, which often leads to bad health. The idea of dysbiosis was postulated by Metchinkoff in the nineteenth century. Metchinkoff correctly identified that:

* Excessive putreactive bacteria (the harmful type) in the colon cause toxins to be produced – especially the damaging 'amines', and that

* Eating fermented foods containing probiotics – 'friendly bacteria' – could reduce ill health. These foods include yoghurt and sauerkraut.

The colon and small intestine contain 3-400 species of bacteria and, surprising to many, most of the bulk of the stool consists of bacteria.

Friendly And Unfriendly

Most of the bacteria in a healthy colon are the 'friendly' type. These are predominately the 'anaerobic' type – they do not require oxygen to live – and they have a beneficial effect on our health. There are also a small number of 'unfriendly' bacteria in the healthy colon. These are predominately 'aerobic' – they do need oxygen – and they also produce toxins, notably the toxic 'amines' mentioned above.

In good health, the harmful bacteria are kept in check by the abundance of beneficial bacteria. Unfortunately, the bacteria in the colon often get out of balance – the 'dysbiosis' of Metchinkoff.

Dysbiosis both:

* Increases the 'toxic load' the body has to deal with, and

* Reduces the benefits provided by the 'friendly bacteria – which are many, including keeping us energetic and boosting our immune system.

The increased toxic load results in ailments including:

* Auto-immune diseases – such as rheumatoid arthritis

* Candida overgrowth

* ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis)

* Unexplained fatigue

As always with your health, if you are ill, seek help from a trusted alternative health practitioner, as well as keeping your doctor 'in the loop'.

Dealing With Dysbiosis

The partial answer to dysbiosis is to supplement with a very good quality bowel flora product. This will usually contain good strains (which will be patented) of several different species of bacteria. These are often acidophilus, bifidus and sometimes faecium. This supplement may be for a course of 3 months and can helpfully be repeated annually. Nowadays, these supplements are stable – ie they do not need refrigerating. This can be useful for travel. However, if you do refrigerate them they will remain more powerful than if left at room temperature. A product with a claimed 1 million organizations may start its life with 10 million so that it can arrive at the end of its declared shelf life with at least 1 million. So do keep unused pots in the fridge. And DO buy from a trusted source.

Some other matters to pay attention to, deal with dysbiosis are:

* The diet – reduce meat and fish in the diet. Harmful bacteria thrive on partially digested meat.

* Antibiotic use – these kill the friendly bacteria.

* Low fiber in the diet – increase vegetable consumption which is favored by friendly bacteria. Brown rice and whole wheat and other whole grains are also high in fiber.

Colon cleansing is a prime method to promote good health. Supplementing of bowel flora combines well with any colon cleansing program to help counteract dysbiosis.

If You Want to Learn How to Design Nested Loops and Hypnotic Stories Using Hypnosis Technique

This article on the use of nested loops and hypnotic stories as hypnosis technique deals with the five types of stories. First is a very short example. This will be a true life story which must be kept short and conversational.

The second story is an anecdote. An anecdote is a true life story that involves use of sensory rich descriptions to set an entire scene, who was there, where were they, how did things happen, what were the causes and effects within the story.

The third story is called a direct story This is a story that will never present itself in a way that can be interpreted any other way than it is a story.

The fourth story will be a fairy tale. Fairy tales are stories where almost everyone can relate to at some level because most people grew up listening to them.&

The fifth story to use in this hypnosis technique is another type of direct story which is a hybrid of the genuine and the made up story This can be a direct story in the sense that it is a true event but it can also have fictional counterparts added to it.

Part Two- What to do with the five stories

The five stories are merely examples, you can use stories that fit the event, problem or occasion your client is dealing with. You will begin with story one tell it partially, then move to story two, and then story three. Story four, the fairy tale, you will tell completely.

After telling story four move back into a piece of story three then into the beginning of story five. After that you will start to tell the endings to your stories in the reverse order; first story five, then story three (because story four is already a complete entity), then story two and finally story one.

This specific nested loop was created with the third story as the focal point the first and the second stories were added in the beginning to make the introduction to the third story more flowing. You can also add other Conversational Hypnosis aspects to these stories as you create them to enhance your hypnosis technique.

Causes of Colon Polyps

A colon polyp is a mass of cells present in the lining of the colon that is the large intestine. Even though they can be harmless to begin with, with the passage of time they turn out to become cancerous. The risk of obtaining it can be at any age; however people who have crossed fifty years of age have a higher risk.

The chances increase to a great extent if the person is obese, has been a smoker and consumed a diet that was high in fat and low in fiber. The fact that colon polyps may not cause any symptoms in the person, can be troublesome, as one may not get to know if conditions become worse and cancer starts developing. Neither would treatment be provided at the right time.

This is why, doctors recommend regular screening so that colon polyps can be detected in the early stages and the required action can be taken on time. However, in extreme cases, some people may experience symptoms like blood in the stool, constipation and diarrhea which lasts for more than one week.

The size of polyps may vary from person to person in their size and appearance. The small ones are not very hazardous; however in case they are starting large such as more than one centimeter become dangerous. The causes that are considered responsible for the sunset of colon polyps are the following:

A lot of research has suggested that being overweight is one of the main causes of colon polyps. Moreover, alcohol consumption or having a diet that is high in fat meats can boost up the risk.

According to a study, men who consumed beef, lamb or pork more than four times in one week were three times likely to develop polyps. Studies further indicate that people who consumed more than twenty cigarettes per day at a 250% more risk of acquiring this disease as compared to non-smokers.

Some of the causes of colon polyp can not be controlled, unlike an unhealthy diet or smoking behavior which can be changed. These include the age factor and genetics. An individual who has a family member with colon polyp or cancer will be at a far greater risk of developing polyps. Also if it has taken place once, polyps can take place again in the future.

Oral Yeast Infection – Thrush

Thrush is a yeast infection of the mouth that can cause a lot of pain when swallowing. It can also have many other symptoms that are not pleasant such as white patches that have been described as "lacy" looking that is on top of a bed of red and soreness that can appear on the tongue, palate and in various other parts of the mouth. To determine whether or not the white patches that you have are actually oral yeast infection thrush then you can take a small cotton bud and wipe the affected area. If the white part comes away and leaves the red bit looking sore, angry and bleeding underneath then the chances are that you have a yeast infection in the mouth.

A yeast infection that is present in the mouth can cause a lot of discomfort while eating and drinking and there before it is important to make sure that the infected person is still having fluids and food to make sure that they do not become dehydrated. This is especially important for young children and in young babies, this oral yeast infection can be a common problem.

As a general rule, an oral yeast infection will require a trip to a medical professional such as your local doctor to get the recommended treatment. There are a few things that you can do to soothe the pain at home and one of these is to eat natural yoghurt which has a calming effect when taken from the fridge and the natural organism's present help to fight the yeast that has overgrown. This however, can be rather hard if the sufferer is having trouble eating and drinking so this should not really be used as treatment by itself.

An oral yeast infection in children and particularly young babies will require rather more urgency when taking them to the doctor as they can become easily dehydrated especially if they have having problems feeding.

Hepatitis V – Symptoms of Hepatitis

As we mentioned in previous articles, hepatitis is characterized by the destruction of a number of liver cells and the presence of inflammatory cells in the liver tissue caused by excessive alcohol drinking, disorders of the gall bladder or pancreas, medication side effects, and infections. Here are the symptoms of hepatitis:

1. Jaundices
Jaundices caused by the excess of a chemical called bilirubin accumulated in the body's tissues. When the liver is damaged by hepatitis virus, it's unable to do its normal job and this chemical accumulates in the blood and starts to leak out into body tissue resulting in a yellow color in the skin, and especially around the whites of the eyes.

2. Loss of appetite
Loss of appetite is also called anorexia, is often the first symptom of acute hepatitis. Sometimes this symptom lasts for a very short time before being replaced by nausea and vomiting.

3. Fatigue
Fatigue is a debilitating tiredness and is a big source of frustration for people with liver disease. When the liver is damaged, feelings of extreme weakness is common.

4. Pain in the muscles and joints
Pain in the muscles and joints can last from days to weeks and are very common in acute hepatitis inflammation.

5. Low blood sugar
Infection by Hepatitis A virus may cause low blood sugar. Therefore regular monitoring of blood glucose level with constant glucose infusion is essential, because dangerously low blood sugar is a constant threat.

6. Insomnia
Insomnia is caused by liver inflammation of hepatitis virus C leading to trouble of sleeping, and waking up often during the night. Some people also experience unusually vivid, intense and frightening dreams.

7. Pruritus
People with hepatitis C sometimes have pruritus, itching to the palms of the hand and the soles of the feet.

8. Lymphadenopathy
Hepatitis may also cause inflammation of lymph nodes. They usually appear in the armpits, groin and neck.

9. Weakness
Hepatitis C also causes a sense of weakness. This symptom can vary from mild to severe and tend to come and go.

If you have any of the above symptoms, please consult with your doctor immediately.

Cirrhosis – Effects and Conditions

Cirrhosis is the irreversible scarring, due to excessive consumption of alcohol or a viral infection like hepatitis C, of the liver. This usually happens during the end stages of several liver disorders. The normal tissue of the liver is destroyed when cirrhosis occurs, and fibrous scarred tissue replicates it. This causes permanent damage to the liver and hinders the normal functions of neutralizing toxins, fighting infections, processing amino acids and glucose in the blood, controlling fat levels, and also processing food that is already digested.

There are no initial symptoms and the person may not be aware of the cirrhosis, however when the symptoms do show up there will be extreme tiredness, itchy skin, nausea, loss of weight and appetite and jaundice. Cirrhosis brings on a complete liver failure, cancer of the liver, severe malnutrition and high blood pressure which occurs in the veins of the gullet and makes them very deficient and even bleeds because of this.

This affects men who are over 40 years of age who have a serious drinking problem and succumb to over indulgence in alcohol. To try and prevent this and safeguard one's self from this dreadful disease, one should get immunized against hepatitis of the A and B type; stay away from injecting themselves with drugs that are illegal; avoid getting hepatitis B by practicing safe sex and consume only safe quantities of alcohol.

This is an irreversible condition and with this in mind the person should avoid any kind of risk to worsen the condition. The treatment given is usually for the undering cause and the person has to lead a healthy life style to prevent further deterioration in their condition. It is best to avoid consumption of alcohol at any cost. In case of liver failure the patient can be considered for a liver transplant. In a liver transplantation the liver which is diseased is removed surgically and a healthy liver from a donor replicates it. The survival rates of those who have been through a liver transplant are quite good and at least 80% to 90% come through the liver transplant. Tacrolimus and Cyclosporine are two new wonder drugs which are used to suppress the body's natural immune system and avoid the new liver being damaged and attacked by it. Research is being contacted to find a way to reverse the scarring of tissue which is thought on by cirrhosis of the liver.

Renal Calculi: Kidney Stone – Ayurvedic and Natural Treatment

Renal Calculi: Kidney stone

Kidneys provide a natural system for blood purification which is a nature's gift to our body. Kidneys are two in number and are in the shape of beans. They are connected by a urine tube each to urine bladder. The main function of kidneys is training. They strain harmful substances from the blood and throw them out in the form of urine. They maintain the specific gravity of blood and deep the blood pressure stable. If kidneys do not work properly, then the accumulated poisonous elements present in the urine such as urea, uric acid, potassium chloride, sulfate and phosphate settle inside in the form of stone resulting in renal calculi.

Irregularity in diet and wrong dietary habits leading to obstruction in urination an accumulation of chemical elements in the kidneys.

Faulty digestion of uric acid and calcium or improper functioning of parathyroid glands too cause the formation of various shapes of stones.

Taking polluted water also contributes to stone formation.

The formation of kidney stone sometimes sends out blood along with the urine without causing any pain. When the stone changes its place, pain is felt around the urine bladder. At times, there is severe pain causing great worry. Urine flows just drop by drop producing a kind of burning sensation and the body becomes weak.

1. Take carrot and raw potato juice

2. Take less food because by eating less, the extra energy of the body gets engaged in throwing the stone out.

3. Eat kulthi dal soaked overnight: Take 100 grams of kulthi pulse and cook it in the morning with 750 gms. of water. When it remains only 300 gms, add little salt and pepper and eat it. Taking cucumber along with will show quick positive results.

4. From the point of view of precaution, abstain from taking items beet root strawberry, peach, berry, tea and coffee as all these contain an excess amount of oxalate. Also avoid heavily fried food items.

5. Taking apple juice regularly stops stone formation. If it has already formed, even then it will come out with urine as it wears out. Apple juice cleanses the kidneys in quite a big way.

6. Drink 25 to 50 gms of boiled beet root water according to age and take one or two cucumbers along with meals without fail. Avoid rice and tomato. Do not obstinate urination even for a second. Do not sit in one pose longer than an hour.

Even after once the stone comes out and, if faulty diet habits still continue, the process of stone formation may persist.

1. If stone has started forming in the kidney, then regular practice of Mahamudra, Yogmudra and Udiyan Bandh will simply throw it out.

2. By living on juice diet for some days, the stone will come out in the form of sand.

3. Drinking coconut water to drink with a straw a number of times during the day and nothing else.

4. Wherever the pain, take cold and warm water's formation for 15 to 20 minutes.

Guard Dogs – Why They're Still Man's Best Crime-Fighting Friend

In recent years crime fighting technology has become increasingly progressive. We can use GPS to track the location of stolen objects, we can accurately take shoe print readings and there are even flashlights that can induce vomiting.

Despite these breakthroughs, there is still at least one traditional crime fighting method that is arguably still as relevant as it ever was, if not more relevant, and that is the use of guard dogs.

Metal theft has been one of the fastest growing crimes in the UK in the past few years and tackling the issue is a key problem, especially as it affects a wide range of commercial and domestic properties. Thefts have increased because scrap metal has become a valuable commodity: the price of copper has doubled to more than £ 5,000 a ton since 2009.

Camden Council in London recently informed that security is being stepped up at cemeteries in North London due to a space of recent metal thefts across graveyards in the borough. How are they doing this, you may ask? Why by using security dog patrols in London, of course.

This is not just a one-off, police and security services London are increasingly looking to use guard dogs as a method to deter and catch criminals. General purpose guard dogs have acutely trained senses and it becomes almost impossible for an intruder to pass by undetected when a dog is on watch. Guard dogs security services can even train a guard dog to attack even without a command.

Another well documented benefit of the dogs are their powerful noses. A dog has a sense of smell that is 2000 times more sensitive than that of humans, so they make excellent drug seekers. Dogs can pick up on a scent over long distances and means they're still a very effective way to track criminals.

Not only that but that nose can be trained to pick up on the smell of explosives and many dogs are involved in explosive searches. The dogs can be taught to detect and indicate the presence of a wide range of substances including: Semtex, C4, TNT, Ammonia Nitrate, Firearms and Ammunition, as well as a whole host of others.

Guard dogs security is important now as it ever was, as demonstrated by Camden Council's guard dogs London scheme. Police and security services are not forgetting about the relevancy of dog security, so you should not be either.

Slippery Elm – A Natural Cure For Acid Reflux and Ulcers

Slippery elm is one of the greatest herbs in the world but very few have ever heard of it. I’m not surprised. The unholy alliance Big Pharma has with the U.S. government is well and strong. They want to stifle the public becoming aware of inexpensive medicinal herbs that could actually cure them of their ailments. Health problems like acid reflux or of stomach ulcers could become a thing of the past through medicinal herbs like slippery elm.

In a very literal way, the billions the government and public pays for health care could be dramatically reduced if medicinal herbs were recommended by medical practitioners, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

Let’s talk about slippery elm. This remarkable herb helps soothe and heal not only when taken internally but when used externally as a poultice. It has an abundance of mucilage that soothes, strengthens, and disperses inflammation. It is remarkably healing and soothing to irritated and inflamed flesh and as such is useful for the treatment of wounds, various skin eruptions and burns.

The spectrum of medicinal uses where this herb not only soothes but heals is nothing short of astonishing.

Here is a list of some of its multi-faceted medicinal uses:

  • Acid reflux
  • Stomach ulcers
  • Flatulence
  • Chronic constipation (when combined with psyllium seed)
  • Acne
  • Skin eruptions like boils, carbuncles, abscesses
  • Dysentery
  • Poison ivy (will relieve and heal when used as a poultice)
  • Vaginal irritation
  • Burns, e.g., sunburn, regular burns, any kind of burns really
  • Sore throat
  • Heartburn
  • Gangrenous wounds or sores
  • Pneumonia
  • Asthma
  • Bronchitis
  • Painful urination

This list is by no means comprehensive. Slippery elm is a powerful “demulcent” or soothing herb that comes from the bark of to the slippery elm tree. The powder is taken from the inner bark, ideally from trees that are older than 10 years of age. Its botanical name is Ulmus fulva and it comes from the Ulmaceae or the elm family.

As you can see from the above bullet list, slippery elm has a diverse range of medicinal uses. Essentially think of the health benefits of slippery elm this way: where there is something on the human body that needs to be nourished, soothed and healed at the same time, think slippery elm.

This means it is ideally for healing inflamed fleshy surfaces like ulcers, which I have intimate personal knowledge of, sunburns, inflamed mucous membranes, poison ivy, boils, skin diseases, inflamed bowel syndrome, etc.

Let’s compare this herb with a typical allopathic remedy for acid reflux disease. Specifically, why don’t we do an honest comparison of the inexpensive price of slippery elm with the pharmaceutical drugs Prilosec and Nexium side by side?

First, both the herb and the drug’s proponents claim to it does the same thing.

The drugs are promoted as new miracle cures for millions of people and are major money makers for their drug companies. Ever hear of the drug Prilosec? After it was released to the gullible public, Prilosec, the original “Purple Pill” for heartburn, became the #1 selling prescription drug for senior citizens in the world. Want to guess how much money this “miracle drug” Prilosec earns its manufacturer AstraZeneca? Try $6 billion dollars per year. That’s billion with a b.

When the patent on Prilosec expired, its maker, AstraZeneca, moved forward on a $500 million marketing campaign to move consumers to Nexium, the next Purple Pill. To say that they make money on this drug is an understatement. You don’t spend $500 million on an advertisement/marketing campaign unless it will make that much and more in profits. And it is profitable.

How about slippery elm’s cost? A 100 capsule supply of slippery elm capsules will run you $9 to $16. A 16-ounce bag of slippery elm powder will run you anywhere from $20 to $26. I’ve seen ads for Nexium that charge $130 for 100 pills. (I’ve actually seen it as high as $162 for a 30 pills.)

Paying even $25 to $90 per month for one pill that never cures but moderates the problem is not a cure. It’s a stopgap measure at best. It’s insane. SlipperyElm bark is an all natural cure for acid reflux and ulcers. I’ve had two ulcers that slippery elm helped not only soothe on a daily basis but to actually heal. Imagine that.

Western medicine is a great blessing to mankind with its research and emergency care but they have a demonstrably terrible record at actually curing people of disease.

In summary, this herb is a great gift to mankind but sadly mankind is not wise enough to use it, or are simply ignorant of its virtues. Most herbal cures are very inexpensive but the U.S. government and the pharmaceutical companies don’t want people to know about these all-natural cures for if these cures were released or made public knowledge, $6 billion profit centers would virtually disappear and with it, its inherent tax income. So, if you have an ulcer or acid reflux or something that is inflamed or injured, slippery elm can help.

Alcohol Consumption After Gastric Sleeve Surgery

Post bariatric surgery, have you too observed that alcohol affects you differently? While you were comfortable with having 2-3 pegs of your favourite Scotch before you went under the knife, now, even one peg make you feel the same as 2-3?

You can take a moment to find some solace in the fact that you are not the only one to feel so!

A survey found that nearly 90 per cent of patients who underwent either gastric bypass or gastric sleeve now find themselves more sensitive to alcohol. They, just like you, are able to feel the effects of alcohol after taking a few sips. Many also claimed that they lose muscle coordination after one or two drinks, and are not able to regain balance even after two-three hours.

If you think there is something wrong with bariatric surgery, let us assure you that it is only a myth. It is important to understand that the body undergoes many changes post bariatric surgery and in the end it all comes down to how the body absorbs alcohol and metabolizes it in a bariatric patient.

When you drink alcohol, or any alcoholic beverage with a normal gut anatomy, it first enters the stomach and gets metabolizes through the process called gastric alcohol metabolism where the enzyme alcohol dehydrogenase works its magic. However, gender, age, medications, etc., can affect the blood alcohol levels and its effects here. Alcohol absorption is also dependent on the rate at which alcohol empties into the intestines. Another factor that affects the whole process is food. Having food in the stomach slows down the gastric emptying, and eventually reduces the rate of alcohol absorption by the intestines. Conversely, an empty stomach enhances absorption and also increases the risk for intoxication.

Almost 95 percent of the stomach is bypassed in patients who undergo gastric bypass, and this includes the pylorus. In such a condition, the alcohol directly passes from the stomach into the intestines, where it is rapidly absorbed by the intestines due to their larger surface area. Add to this the postoperative rule of not eating while drinking, and you can imagine the rate at which alcohol is absorbed in bariatric patients.

Moreover, liver too plays a role in metabolizing the alcohol entering the body. But, conditions relatively common among individuals with morbid obesity, such as steatosis and fatty liver disease, make the alcohol metabolism a bit more difficult. Furthermore, bariatric patients follow a low carbohydrate diet which means that they have a low amount of glycogen. When alcohol enters the body, it further depletes the body of glycogen and also reduces glucose homeostasis. This puts the bariatric patient at a higher risk of hypoglycaemia.

Although all this may sound scary to you, however, you just consult a bariatric surgeon before you plan on drinking alcohol again. A thorough understanding and a few precautions can help you enjoy your drink without affecting your health.

Hyperacidity Cure – Effective and Permanent Natural Treatment

Acid dyspepsia or hyperacidity is presence of excess acid in the stomach, it needs to be cured effectively and permanently because if it stays for longer period can cause serious damage to the health. According to medical experts acid and alkali are present in the human body and are part of the body, however healthy body is an alkaline body, which means that alkali shall be present in the larger part than the acid. The most serious unhealthy conditions are acidic conditions. All the foods which a human being eats either leaves an acidic ash or alkaline ash which forms the nature of the body.

Acid is important for digesting the food effectively, sometimes due to different reasons gastric glands situated in the stomach secrete more than required acid which creates condition of hyperacidity in the body. There are many factors which work as triggers for gastric glands to secrete more than required acid in the stomach. Lifestyle related issues, eating habits, foods, sleeping pattern and environment, all play an important role in affecting the secretion of acid in the stomach. Certain types of food are known to promote excess acid secretion and some drinks like tea, coffee, habit of smoking and alcohol also promote excessive acid secretion.

To get an effective and permanent treatment of the problem one must consider all the possibilities which can initiate the problem to identify the root cause. There are many remedies which can provide immediate relief from the problem but without treating the root cause of the problem the treatment will not be permanent in nature. Some commonly associated problems which may initiate hyperacidity are constipation, flatulence, indigestion, malfunctioning of liver and stress. Hyperacidity in a person having any of these problems subsides with the treatment of the problem itself.

Consuming buttermilk after meals is an excellent remedy for hyperacidity and if taken regularly can provide effective and permanent treatment. Eating jaggery or a piece of clove after meal also helps in treating the problem. Lemon may be acidic in nature but contains digestive enzymes and good acid, consuming sweet lemon juice before meals helps in digesting the food and nullifying the acid in the stomach.

Increased intake of fruits like banana, melon, pineapple, apple and guava are very useful in treating the problem of hyperacidity. What is Gastritis? It's Symptoms and Natural Cure

An inflammation of the stomach lining, gastritis is usually signaled by indigestion, either with or without bleeding in the digestive tract. Acute gastritis, often develops when people are subjected to sudden stress, such as from intense burns or other severe injury or illness; it may also develop after surgery, leading to stress ulcers and severe intestinal bleeding.

Gastritis is more common with age and most sufferers complain of indigestion. Other people have no noticeable symptoms, which can be dangerous if gastritis is caused by erosion of the stomach lining with bleeding-normally a result of aspirin or other medication. Usually, people with acute gastritis caused by illness or injury have already been hospitalized for treatment of their underlying condition; therefore, symptoms of gastritis are managed in the course of their intensive care.

Chronic inflammation can occur with long-term use of certain medications (such as aspirin and arthritis drugs), gastrointestinal disorders such as Crohn's disease, alcoholism, or viral infections. It has recently been discovered that many cases of gastritis are caused by a bacterium, Helicobacter pylon. This organism has also been linked to peptic ulcers and is the only germ currently known to be able to survive in the acidic environment of the human stomach.

Although foods are not the cause of gastritis, people with symptoms should avoid spicy or highly acidic foods, which can irritate the stomach lining. They should also avoid fatty foods, tomato-based products, chocolate, beverages containing caffeine, decaffeinated tea and coffee, peppermint, and alcohol. These foods relax the valve between the stomach and esophagus and make it easier for the stomach contents to back up into the esophagus, causing further irritation.

Causes of High Pulse Rate

High pulse rate is where the heart beats faster than usual leaving behind its repercussions. This condition is medically termed as Tachycardia, where the heart beat is abnormally higher than the normal rate being 60-100 per every minute. So when a pulse crosses 100 BPM, it is considered to be high due to insufficiency or inefficiency of the heart in pumping the blood.

Tachycardia is of two types. One is ventricular tachycardia, in other words, V-tach, where it is concerned with ventricles; and another being supra-ventricular tachycardia, SVT in which the pumping is in the upper side of the heart. The latter is more common and less harmful than V-tach. Yet, any abnormal condition is better when consulted with a physician.

Causes for these pulse rates to go high are many. But most of them have a short span while there are some factors that keep the pulse rate on high for a comparatively long time. High pulse rate is a factor that is caused by some heart disease in a person. It could be coronary or high BP or pericarditis. The arterial get hardened at times or the valves are damaged that leads to difficult blood pumping. Hyper activity of thyroid leads to high pulse rate. High pulse rate is also caused by other disorders related to metabolism or damage of heart in its upper part thereby training and weakening the heart.

When the lung tissues get non-elastic, blood pumping is historically affected. Other factors like fever or vitamin deficiency etc can also be named as temporary causes.
