A healthy diet that works would have several tweaks done to it. In order to be healthy you would need to eat right and exercise and all that kind of stuff.
So the first thing I would have in a great diet plan is healthy foods without a lot of processed foods.
Monday through Saturday you can follow a solid regimen like eat breakfast every morning. What you should do is eat clean for at least six days. The day off here would be Sunday.
It would not be a cheat day when you can eat anything and everything. Instead have that one a day out of the week be a day where you can eat anything but make sure you do not eat more than you can.
It is best to start off counting calories just to get a good idea of how many calories you need to lose fat safely. I will just you an example of what my typical day for weight loss was.
I wake up Monday morning at 8:00am and have a bowl of oatmeal with cinnamon and low fat milk with an apple. Then after about an hour I go for a walk around my neighborhood for at least twenty minutes.
Then eat again at around 11:00 when I am feeling a little hungry. This meal will be an egg omelet, wheat toast, and Canadian bacon.
In between I would be actively doing something like yard work or just playing basketball with some friends. By the way make sure you pick something fun for exercising.
I generally like to eat every three hours because I know I won’t get too hungry and will feel energized all day long.

All these are just a few great choices for a healthy diet that works. I don’t really have much of a problem eating like this not only because I feel great but because I am looking forward to that day when I can eat anything (NOT everything).
