Deconstructing the Tones of Respect and Love

You cannot force someone to respect you, is a point of view that I have heard through the years, and endorse this completely. I have also heard that people who expect too much end up getting their hopes squashed.

Using these as a basis let us deconstruct the actual tone of respect, love and not letting anyone rein on your positivity.

Since both these oft-used sentence constructs fly off the mouths of many, it is also true that you cannot expect someone to love you. Given the fact that love is a beautiful manifestation, finding solace and peace with someone who epitomizes discord is hardly the appropriate choice. It is ridiculous, when someone expects love, but does not reciprocate the feeling into action or mere words. Ergo, it can be hunky dory to be caught up in a situation but the harsh reality can be so dismal that any positive feeling is fraught with unclean thought processes.

With the beginning of a new year in our midst, it is best, in my opinion, to let negative drama out the door and herald in a positive tune. It may resonate in your thoughts, actions or just the ritual of getting by, but try you must. The point is never to let your thunder be overlapped by the trappings and the travails of a caustic or sarcastic tongue or physical nastiness.

We, as a people, have the ability to get past a positive or negative someone or thought that perpetuates in our midst. We may disconnect ourselves with music, food, talk things over with someone, and resort to excessive drinking, all just so that we can get out of the situation for a while. Sometimes it can get quite difficult to forget the hurt and settle down to bitterness that envelopes us. It is a difficult task to get along when disgruntled appearances hijack the day. If you stay away and let the person indulge in her/his vomit of negativity, you may be on the right track.

Travelling down the road to chaos and destruction is an easy route, most often guided with improper directions. When we set our thoughts and life in perspective, the deviations automatically take a back seat. The rewards, when you distance yourself from negativity, have amazing effects with cheer and happiness taking over. You need to ask yourself whether you have given someone the power over you. If that is the case, how do you move on towards being who you are meant to be now, and forever?

The bottom line is never to let your joy be overshadowed by a darkness that can creep up on you in different guises, let the Light set you free.

Advantages of Natural Food Preservatives

Natural food preservatives have been used and known to mankind since long time. These are used in both raw as well as cooked food to increase the shelf value of food so that aroma, taste and the food itself can be stored for a longer period of time. Also food decomposition is prevented by them. Apart from the preservatives, in natural preservation, freezing, pickling, deep frying, salting and smoking also come.

Food preservatives whether natural or artificial work in three different ways as antimicrobial, antioxidants and act on enzymes. In antimicrobial, growth of microbes like bacteria and fungi is inhibited. In the second one the process of oxidation is either delayed or stopped. And the one that acts on enzymes stops the ripening or aging of foodstuff.

Methods of natural preservation include salt, sugar, vinegar, rosemary extracts etc. Salt is a natural preservative that with the process of osmosis dehydrates the microbes. With this the growth of bacteria is inhibited that otherwise causes the spoilage of food. Protection from yeast and molds is also given by salt.

In many other food items sugar is mainly used as preservative. It also works like salt and through the process of osmosis inhibits the growth of microorganism. The process of osmosis draws the water out of bacteria so either sugar kills it or inhibits its growth thus protecting the food. To preserve food with sugar either sugar syrup or powder is used in the food.

Vinegar is another very important natural food preservative that is acidic. It is produced by the process of fermentation of sugar and water. Microbes and bacterias are killed by the acetic acid in vinegar that are responsible for food spoilage.

Advantages of Natural Food Preservatives

Artificial preservatives are responsible for causing many health problem pertaining to respiratory tract, heart, blood and other. Although if you have the problem of blood pressure and sugar the over consumption of salt and sugar should be avoided. But besides this there is no major health concern associated with them.

These naturally do the process of osmosis that is safe and economical. Also these are absolutely safe for consumption. It does not alter the color of the food and gives the required flavour. Different methods of preservations  are used for to preserve the food through these.

Pericarditis – Definition, Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Pericarditis is inflammation of the pericardium, a membrane that surrounds the heart and its major blood vessels. Pericarditis can be caused by infection, heart attack, autoimmune disorders, chest trauma, cancer, kidney failure, or drugs. Pericarditis most often affects men aged 20-50. Pericarditis may be acute or chronic. Heart attack (see post-MI pericarditis) and myocarditis can cause pericarditis, as can radiation therapy to the chest and medications that suppress the immune system. Acute pericarditis due to tuberculosis begins insidiously, sometimes without obvious symptoms of lung infection. It may produce fever and symptoms of heart failure, such as weakness, fatigue, and difficulty breathing. Cardiac tamponade may occur. Pericarditis can be misdiagnosed as myocardial infarction, and vice versa. Pericarditis is more common in adolescents and young adults. In a recent study, Merce et al found no difference in etiology, clinical course, and prognosis between elderly and younger patients with moderate and large pericardial effusions.

Pericarditis occurs in up to 15% of patients who have acute myocardial infarctions (heart attacks). There is also a late form of post-heart-attack pericarditis, called Dressler’s syndrome, that occurs weeks to months after the heart attack. Chronic pericarditis occurs when the pericardial inflammation does not resolve within a few weeks. Constrictive pericarditis occurs when a chronically inflamed pericardial sac sticks to the heart muscle, squeezing it constricting it. A CT or MRI scan can also help to diagnose chronic or constrictive pericarditis, by showing the thickening of the pericardial lining associated with these conditions. Potential sources of cardiac perforation include central line placement, pacemaker insertion, cardiac catheterization, sternal bone marrow biopsies, and pericardiocentesis.

Pericarditis usually occurs in flare-ups, but it may be the presenting manifestation. Constrictive pericarditis is a very difficult therapeutic problem. Diuretics may be used to remove excess fluid accumulated in the pericardial sac. Bacterial pericarditis must be treated with antibiotics. Fungal pericarditis is treated with antifungal agents. Medicines, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), are commonly used to manage the pain and inflammation. Acute inflammatory pericarditis usually lasts one to three weeks and doesn’t lead to further problems. About 20 percent of pericarditis patients have a recurrence within months or, rarely, within years. Pericarditis is treated with bed rest, diuretics, and digitalis, but definitive treatment requires surgery to strip the thickened pericardial lining from the heart.

Treatment for Pericarditis Tips

1. Analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs are given to relieve pain.

2. Antibiotics are also prescribed if the pericarditis is due to a bacterial infection.

3. Tamponade is treated by draining the fluid from the pericardial sac, usually via a tiny catheter.

4. Removing the fluid relieves the pressure on the heart, and restores normal cardiac function almost immediately.

5. Pericarditis is treated with bed rest, diuretics, and digitalis.

Panic Attacks Dizziness and Suffocation

Diana was watching TV after a day’s work. Suddenly, she felt a strong feeling of dizziness and suffocation, as if there was sufficient oxygen in the air we breathe. Then her heart began beating with such speed and force that was terrified, thinking she could die of a heart attack. She began to sweat, she felt shaky and unstable. All this reached its maximum intensity in 60 seconds. It was the eighth panic attack she had that month.

The panic attack is a sudden and intense feeling of fear and danger, a desire to escape, as well as physical symptoms associated with anxiety. The symptoms can vary from person to person but usually occur four or more of the following:

Feeling of choking or shortness of breath

Pain or discomfort in the chest

Nausea or abdominal discomfort

Feeling of unreality

Fear of losing control or going crazy

Fear of dying

Numbness, tingling

Heat waves or chills

Panic disorder is fairly common, with 1 in every 75 people worldwide. The first attack usually appears during adolescence or early adulthood, so sudden and unexpected, usually for a period of prolonged stress (illness and / or death of a loved one, move to another city or country, the birth of a child , pressures at work or studies, etc.) and let the person who has suffered through a state of great concern and anxiety may have thought that any serious illness or could have another attack at any time. The first reaction is usually to go to the emergency, but after a recognition, doctors say that everything is in perfect condition and has nothing.

Situations occur in which the attacks are varied: walking down the street, driving and even during sleep and seems to occur suddenly, without having anything in particular that trigger, contrary to what happens in the simple phobia the anxiety symptoms that appear after being exposed to the feared object (eg when a person with a phobia about snakes is one of these reptiles). But in other cases before the attack have experienced a period of weeks or months during which his heart noticed faster than normal.

Agoraphobia to panic

After several attacks, fear and concern rising. Many people begin to avoid situations in which such attacks were the situations where it would be difficult to escape or get help if they would attack or situations where they would feel ashamed if they had such an attack, such as social gatherings. Thus, his life is looking more and more restricted, which can reach up to a moment that dare not leave home for fear of having an attack. This is called agoraphobia, and occurs in a large number of people with panic disorder, but not all.

As the condition worsens over time and will not change things, depressed or just some people resort to alcohol and drugs to try to control their symptoms. Labor problems and may have even lost the job or leave. One in 5 attempts suicide. They are often misdiagnosed because its symptoms are confused with physical illnesses such as heart disease, hyperthyroidism and certain types of epilepsy.

Situations and activities that tend to avoid agoraphobic

Being away from home, being alone (without the company of someone who could help in case of attack), physical exertion, places it is difficult to escape in case of panic attack (restaurants, cinemas, department stores, public transport) places where they would feel ashamed if they had an attack (meetings, social gatherings …).

What are the causes of panic disorder?

1. Biological predisposition

Predominance of cardiorespiratory system. When a person feels anxiety, produced a series of physical responses of various kinds: cardiorespiratory (tachycardia, rapid breathing, shortness of breath …), musculoskeletal (tremors, tingling …) and gastrointestinal (nausea, abdominal discomfort, etc). In each person can have a predominance of one or another system and seems to be the first (cardiorespiratory) which is more related to panic.

Hyperventilation. This is a common response to anxiety, which is higher in those in which the active anxiety preferably cardiorespiratory system. The symptoms of hyperventilation are: breath, dizziness, palpitations, chest pain, and so on. Some people hiperventilan not only in situations of anxiety, but so chronic, because they do not breathe properly (breathing and frequent predominance of oral breathing) or physical health problems such as nasal disorders or hyperthyroidism.

Panic attacks often occur during a first phase of prolonged stress. In these situations, people are having a cardiac predominance breathing and ineffective, they tend to hiperventilar, your muscles are tense, your heart speeds up to compensate for the bad breath, until it reaches a time when the symptoms of hyperventilation increase. Come into play psychological factors and personality to stop causing a panic attack.

Foods to Lower Cholesterol – How I Lower Total Cholesterol Naturally From 376 Mg/DL to 121 Mg/DL

Foods to lower cholesterol do exist, and I am a living proof that they can do miraculous things to drop your cholesterol numbers from abnormally high level to a fully safe level in comparatively short time. It’s simply a matter of persistence to stick with the right kind of natural diet.

But first, let’s cover the basics. The purpose of your diet should be to reach ideal cholesterol measurement, which means lower your LDL level (bad cholesterol) in your blood to be under 100 mg/dL, and to raise your HDL level (good cholesterol) to be higher than 60 mg/dL. Also, your ratio of HDL compared to LDL should be lower than 4.4:1. After your numbers are within these ranges, you should constantly monitor and control your levels to be within this restrictions as much as possible.

Now that you know the goals, let me tell you about my little story of how I lower my total cholesterol level from 376 to 121 in only 2 months.

Back in 2008, my first ever medical check up result was shown to me by my doctor. The horror hit me when he gave me that serious look and said “this 376 mg/dL total is abnormally high cholesterol reading, you know.. I have to put you on medication right away to make it low in order to reach a healthy level”. He then mumbled something about this medicine called Zocor, and how I should be taking it daily for a month (my dose was 20 mg per day).

Just imagine my shock! I could feel my jaw dropped and hit the floor in disbelieve…

Prior to that moment, I have always felt that I was in perfectly normal health. My physical condition was okay compared to my friends’, and I’ve never had any serious disease.

But then I realized that it was real… I know the Zocor my doctor prescribed me was not the solution. I found out from the medicine’s own website that even on a treatment with a dose 4 times what my doctor was giving me, a drop of 100 points in total cholesterol is very rare. What I needed was a drop of more than 200 points. I just knew that Zocor (or Lipitor, or Lescol, or drugs like them) was not the answer to my problem.

I started to do an extensive research for information on the internet, and soon I find out that cholesterol lowering can be done by eating the right kind of food. I still took the Zocor daily at that time, but then I also started doing all these:

– I stopped eating all kinds of meat, fat and poultry for 2 months straight (these kinds of food causes the heart to produce more bad cholesterol)

– I stopped all kinds of soda drinks and sugary drink (yes, that includes tea and coffee)

– I stopped consuming all kinds of dairy products (milk, butter, cheese, chocolate – sigh..)

– I started eating more vegetables in all my three meals a day

– I added fruit into all my three meals every day

– I eat fish frequently, with every meal when possible (they are good to increase HDL because of Omega-3 oil in them)

– I stopped eating white bread and switch to whole grain bread

– I started taking daily dose of vitamins and supplements daily

– I started eating cereal after each meal

– On the sports side, I started jogging 4 miles weekly on every Saturday

After two months of doing this religiously, I visited the lab again to test my cholesterol level again…

And the result was a big victory for me! My new total cholesterol count was now 121 mg/dL!

I was very excited, knowing that I’ve found the “secret” of lowering cholesterol, and that I can now kiss goodbye to heart disease risk.

Heart Attack Age Statistics

Heart attacks can occur at any age. There are no specific age-groups which are the prime targets. However, it is also true that there are certain age groups that are more susceptible to heart attacks. Older people, with a weaker physiological structure are more risk prone than younger people since their bodies have suffered greater wear and tear. As is always the case, your fitness lever, diet and present weight can be a major deciding factor when it comes to heart attacks.

Statistics collected, though generally from the United States, often are divided into different categories – General, Women, Senior Citizens, Young people etc. This helps to get a fair idea of how the different age groups fare when it comes to being susceptible to heart attacks.

Many people feel that if a person has survived the heart attack, all is well. But, the reality is that the body is in a highly weakened state following a heart attack and the chances of a second heart attack dramatically increase. It has been recorded that, statistically, around 18% men & 23% women die within a year of suffering the first heart attack. This was observed in the age group 40 and above. If we extrapolate the age to 5 more years, then the percentage jumps up to 33% and 43% respectively.

Statistically it has been observed that men are the primary victims of heart attacks but women are more prone to die if they survive the first heart attack. The observed factors for the same are high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels.

On an average, a woman has her first heart attack at the age of around 70 years. But the graph goes drastically north after this. Also, surprisingly, there are close to 20000 women below the age of 45 who are admitted to a hospital every year in the U.S.

As we mentioned earlier, women over 65 are likely to suffer heart attacks, with close to 370000 women admitted each year. What was an interesting fact in the survey was the high number of women suffering high blood pressure. This number is around 21 million.

Though rare, heart attacks do happen to the young and healthy too. For e.g. a survey in Australia concluded that 0.13% of severe heart attacks occurred in men aged 15-24. This steadily increased and registers a sharp northward curve when we reach 45 years of age.

As we can see from the above statistics, heart attacks can happen to anyone and happen anywhere. The best possible course is to exercise regularly, eat healthy and live a happy stress free life.

Zebra Finches-Fiesty Birds With a Perky Attitude!

Zebra finches are classified as the smallest of the pet birds available on the market. Originating from the continent of Australia, they are also found in Indonesia, Central and North America. With their attractive plumage and ease of maintenance, they are highly prized as pets. They are relatively hardy birds which can be kept indoors as well as in outdoor aviaries.

They have been a popular pet bird for over 100 years. They are an ideal choice for any bird enthusiast or anyone looking for a pet. Zebra Finches can live up to 10 years with good nutrition and care.

Zebra finches come in several patterns and colors. They vary in color according to their breed. Typically, the male sports a gray-hued body and wings, while his underside is off-white. The beak and legs are a red-orange color. There are cheek patches on his head and a tear-dropped shaped mark under the eyes. There is a chestnut brown white dotted coloration below the wings. And finally, the male has a black and white striped chest which gives the species its’ common name.

The female boasts a gray-hued body and wings along with the off-white underside. The beak is one shade of orange lighter than that of the male. The major difference in appearance between male and female is that the male displays the cheek patches while the female does not. Both females and males have red eyes and their feet are a combination of orange and yellow.

Zebra finches are active birds, able to entertain themselves. They have soft, pleasing vocalizations consisting of chirping and peeping. They are flock birds and do best when a number of pairs are housed together. They are usually sold in pairs and need to be maintained as pairs for their emotional well-being.

Zebra finches are messy and voracious eaters, typically dropping seed everywhere. They are feisty little critters with a perky attitude. Zebra finches are crazy about canary tassel toys!

Like all finches, Zebra finches are cautious with humans and don’t enjoy being touched. These birds do not become finger tame, though they do come to enjoy interaction with their owners over time. However, some owners attest to bird’s ability to learn to become at ease with human touch. As social animals, they do require the company of other compatible birds to stay emotionally healthy.

Cages and Aviaries

Zebra finches are relatively hardy birds that can be kept indoors, or in outdoor aviaries. Experts advise owners to house their finches in the largest cage affordable. Zebra finches do well in a mixed aviary. However they don’t mix well with all species of finches.

All finches are mostly seed eaters. Finch owners have assumed that their birds need grit similar to other bird species. However, finches do not require grit. Give your birds daily fresh water. Finches can die within 24 hours without water. Supplement their diet of seeds with greens and fruit-but don’t overdo it! Supply a calcium supplement, especially during mating season. Cooked egg shells make a good substitute for cuttle bone.

Zebra finches are usually quite healthy, but not quite as hardy as larger pet birds,

They are very susceptible to air-borne toxins. Also, they can catch colds from drafts. Therefore, they need to be housed clear of windows and doors in order to stay healthy. They will do well in temperatures down to around 40 F.

Zebra finches easily breed in captivity. Zebras breed colonially and are socially monogamous, in many cases maintaining permanent pair bonds. The male helps in the nest building as well as hatching duties and feeding the young. Zebra finches can lay a maximum of eight eggs, but usually have 2 to 5 eggs in their nests. Zebra Finches will lay one egg every other day until their clutch is complete.

After egg laying it’s the hen that will spend most of her time on the nest. The male will from time to time, relieve her for food and exercise breaks. The eggs will begin to hatch 12 to 18 days after they have been laid.

Breeding zebra finches in pair cages is ideal. However, they will breed in aviaries. During mating season the birds require up to 16 hours of daily sunlight. If there is no window in the area where the cage is located, supply an artificial source of light with timer.

Zebra finches are arguably the most popular and commonly kept Australian finch species. Zebra finches are some of the easiest pet birds to keep and can make excellent companions for people where noise and space is a concern. With good nutrition and care, these birds can live up to 10 years. They are considered one of my favorite of all finch varieties.

Ways to Acidify Your Soil and Ways to Handle The pH Issue

The popularity of blueberries have caused many people to become interested in quickly adjusting the soil pH downwards. Don’t mess with your soil without having it analyzed. Submit a sample to your county extension service and have it tested. You need to have the soil re-testing regularly to monitor the situation. Blueberry plants need an acid soil in a pH range from 4.5 to 5.0 to grow well. Soil pH directly affects the life and growth of plants because it affects the availability of all plant nutrients. The soil pH needs to be adjusted one year before planting your blueberry plants.

Healthy soil produces healthy crops. Soil with the proper pH enhances soil microbial activity and frees up vital soil nutrients. This helps irrigation water move without restraint and successfully through the root zone. When the soil pH is correct blueberry plants get off to an enhanced start and enjoy superior plant vigor producing better yields and better profits.

This article discusses following ways to lower the pH of the soil and handle this issue.

  • Using elemental sulfur
  • Using sulfuric acid
  • Using pine bark or pine needles and peat moss
  • Using raised beds
  • Using ammonium sulfate

Using elemental sulfur

One of the cheapest ways to lower the pH of the soil is to add and work elemental sulfur into the soil and permit soil bacteria to transform the sulfur to sulfuric acid. This will lower the pH of the soil. Using sulfur is an accepted organic way to lower the pH of the soil.

It is important to realize that this is a slow biological process and not a rapid chemical reaction. This process takes place when the bacteria are active, when the soil is warm and moist. The temperature of the soil must be above 55 degrees F for the bacteria to be active. The bacteria are inactive during the cold weather so a fall application of sulfur will have little or no affect on the soil pH when spring arrives. You should mix the sulfur thoroughly into the soil a year before planting.

The amount of sulfur essential is dependent on soil type. This is because clay and organic matter act as a buffer. They absorb and release mineral ions. A relatively small amount of sulfur is needed on sands, while soils high in clay or organic matter need much more. It is essential to apply and incorporate sulfur into the soil no less than one year before planting to permit the sulfur time to be converted into sulfuric acid and lower the soil pH before planting. The soil analysis report from the county extension service should give you information on how much sulfur to use to reduce the pH if needed.

Using sulfuric acid

Soil acidification is often achieved using sulfuric acid in commercial operations. The acidifying results of sulfuric acid on the soil are instantaneous. The rate of application is frequently one half to two tons per acre, with one ton being the most frequent rate of application.

Sulfuric acid can be used to lower the pH of the soil. Lowering the pH can improve water infiltration, increase the accessibility of nutrients, and helps soils which have crops with iron induced chlorosis symptoms. Soil tests are suggested for determining the appropriateness of soil additives and the rate at which it should be applied. Sulfuric acid may be added through the irrigation system in dilute concentrations to lower the pH of the soil.

The use of sulfuric acid can be a high risk operation and the addition of sulfuric acid to water is a violent heat-producing reaction. Concentrated sulfuric acid has a high viscosity. To handle it in safety, you need to wear a plastic apron, appropriate gloves, rubber boots, and an eye guard shielding your face. If you add water to concentrated sulfuric acid, this will cause the acid to explode and possibly splash out or fracture the container. Instead you should carefully and very slowly add concentrated acid to water, the heavier acid will blend with the water as it sinks down to the bottom of the bottle. This will heat up the solution, but not erupt. NEVER add water to the acid, always add acid to water.

The following is the procedure reported by to me one person.

“I found on the label that the quart of battery acid I purchase for putting into a battery is 33.5% sulfuric acid. I first diluted the quart of sulfuric acid by very slowly pouring it through a plastic tube into a two and a half-gallon plastic container of water. This avoided any splashing. This did not cause the container of water to heat up perceptibly. This produced a solution of 3.3% sulfuric acid which was much safer and easier to handle. I then filled a 50 gallon barrel with water and added a little at a time while checking the pH with 4.0-7.0 pH indicator strips. It took 900 ml to lower pH of the water to 4.7.”

Using pine bark or pine needles or peat moss

To lower soil pH using peat moss, it will be necessary to put approximately 2.5 pounds of peat moss into the soil for every square yard. Sawdust, leaves, wood chips, cottonseed meal, leaf mold and peat moss will also lower the pH of the soil. This is a simple organic way to lower the pH of the soil.

Using raised beds

Using raised beds instead trying to change the soil pH if it is 8 and you want to go to 5.0 is a reasonable approach. Changing the soil from an 8 to 5 pH will take a good number of years and probably the amounts of acid you would have to add would be expensive and might harm the whole yard and any existing plants. When using a raised bed you can add topsoil with compost and peat moss and then mulch it with pine needles or oak leaves or whatever mix you want to use. I think in a case like this it would be fewer headaches and not be as dangerous. In addition the use of raised beds can help avoid the chance of standing water which is detrimental to the plant.

Using ammonium sulfate

If only a small adjustment in pH is needed basic reaction fertilizers may be sufficient.

Nitrogen fertilizers containing ammonium also lowers the pH of the soil. Ammonium sulfate is an inorganic salt. It has a number of uses. The most widespread use of ammonium sulfate is as a soil fertilizer. It contains 21% nitrogen as ammonium cations (positive ions), and 24% sulfur as sulfate anions (negative ions). In fertilizer the purpose of the sulfate is to lower the pH of the soil. In addition soil acidity is produced by rain, microbial activity, and nitrogen fertilizers. Therefore, soils naturally tend to become acidic with time.

With the increasing popularity of blueberries many people have become interested in ways to quickly adjusting the pH of the soil to lower levels. You can use sulfur or sulfuric acid to lower the pH of the soil. Using peat moss, raised beds, and ammonium sulfate are also options in some cases.

Mental Illnesses and Stealth Adapted Viruses

Stealth adapted virus infections of the brain can explain the growing violence occurring within the country. These viruses are not effectively recognized by the cellular immune system and, therefore, fail to evoke an inflammatory response. Public health officials have been reluctant to acknowledge the existence of these viruses. Contributing to this disregard is evidence that some stealth adapted viruses unequivocally originated from monkey virus contaminants of polio vaccines. Moreover, the experimental testing of contaminated polio vaccines in chimpanzees likely led to the formation of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and to the AIDS epidemic.

Virus-induced mental illnesses are not only devastating to patients but can diminish the natural empathy that instills a humane respect for others. The fear of consequences of criminal actions can also be greatly diminished by brain damage. Mentally impaired individuals can be easily misled by propaganda, even to the extreme of being willing to sacrifice their own life.

The medical responsibility for mental illness is largely the task of psychiatrists. Yet by training, psychiatrists are predisposed to see illnesses as neurochemical disorders, best treated with pharmaceuticals. Conventional virologists also do not have the perspective of treating patients beyond boosting the immune system and/or inhibiting active virus replication with pharmaceuticals. Stealth adapted viruses provide a continuing drain on cellular energy resources and are best treated using energy-based remedies.

A major paradigm shift in medicine is the realization that cells obtain energy through an alternative cellular energy (ACE) pathway. This source of energy differs from that derived from the metabolism of food. It is induced by an external energy force termed KELEA (kinetic energy limiting electrostatic attraction). The fundamental role of KELEA in Nature is, presumably, to prevent the fusion of electrostatically attracted opposite electrical charges. In support of this contention, KELEA has been shown to loosen the intermolecular hydrogen bonding between fluid molecules.

The fluctuating electrical activity of the brain may be able to function as an antenna for attracting KELEA into the body, with reduction of this activity being a likely consequence of brain damage. The brain attracted KELEA provides an added dynamic (kinetic) activity to the body’s fluids in support of various metabolic functions. Moreover, if water is sufficiently activated, the now more separated electrical charges on the activated water molecules can attract further KELEA, which is transferrable to nearby water molecules. This principle explains the retention of activity throughout the repetitive dilutions used in homeopathy.

The ACE pathway acts as an important defense mechanism against infectious diseases, with several major advantages in comparison to the immune system. One obvious advantage is the ACE pathway’s capacity to suppress stealth adapted viruses. The ACE pathway can also contribute to the energy requirements of brain cells, possibly also enhancing its KELEA attracting capacity.

Various methods are available to enhance the ACE pathway and should be tested in patients with mental illnesses. A proven clinical approach is, to begin with, the drinking of KELEA activated water. Water can be easily activated by being placed near various devices with repetitive on-off electrical switching. Dipolar compounds can also be used to attract KELEA into water, possibly acting in an oscillatory manner. The compounds can be removed by decanting, filtration or progressive dilutions. Current protocols involve the consumption of approximately 500 ml daily, with initial benefits being detected within one to two weeks. Increased public awareness and discussions of the concepts embodied in this article may help encourage Governmental authorities and major research centers to undertake additional clinical studies among those who are mentally ill.

Relevant Cure for Pleurisy and Pleural Effusion

When you breathe normally, the lungs expand and contract easily and rhythmically inside your rib cage. Each lung is enclosed in a moist, smooth, two-layered membrane, which is called a pleura. The pleura lubricates the moving parts of the lungs and makes breathing easier. The outer layer of the pleura lines the rib cage. Between the two thin layers is a virtually imperceptible space, which is called the pleural space. It permits the layers to glide gently across each other. If either of your pleura becomes inflamed and roughened because of an infection, this seriously impedes the movement of the layers, and you have pleurisy.
Pleurisy is actually a symptom of an underlying disease rather than a disease in itself. The pleurae may become inflamed as a complication of a lung or chest infection such as pneumonia or tuberculosis sleep into the pleural space. This causes a condition called pleural effusion. But pleurisy is not the only cause of pleural effusion; the condition may also be a complication of a generalized disease such as rheumatoid arthritis a liver or kidney disorder, or heart failure . Cancer cells that are spreading from a tumor in the lungs, breast, or ovaries can also cause pleural effusion.
What are the Symptoms?
If you have pleurisy, it hurts to breathe deeply or cough. You may also have severe, but one-sided, chest pain. These symptoms are accompanied by others that are associated with the underlying disorder. The pain will disappear if pleural effusion occurs as a result of pleurisy, because fluid will prevent the roughened or inflamed layers of the pleura from rubbing against each other. If this happens, you may become breathless.
What are the Risks?
Pleurisy and pleural effusion due to infection have become rare disorders. This is because they now can be very effectively treated with antibiotics. Pleurisy is four times as common as pleural effusion.
In most cases the risks of pleurisy are the same as the risks associated with the underlying cause. Advanced pleural effusion can compress the lungs and cause severe breathlessness. Pleural effusion may also lead to empyema .
What Should be Done?
Consult your physician if breathing becomes painful, you seem unusually short of breath, and either or both of these symptoms is accompanied by a fever, no matter how slight. After questioning you about symptoms and previous illness, the physician will probably listen to your chest with a stethoscope and will percuss, or finger tap, your chest while listening for characteristic sounds made by irritated pleurae and pleural effusion. You may need a chest X-ray to help determine what disorder has caused the pleurisy. If you have pleural effusion, one way to diagnose the cause is to study the composition of the fluid, so a sample of fluid may be taken from the pleural space, with a needle and syringe.
What is the Treatment?
Because pleurisy and pleural effusion are symptoms of other disorders, the only way to cure them is to treat the underlying disease. Meanwhile, to ease chest pains, the doctor may recommend that you use an analgesic such as aspirin.

Why Is Diabetes Known As the Silent Killer?

While diabetes is often called a “chronic” disease, it is also known as the “silent killer” which I believe is a very accurate description. Here are some of the primary reasons for this:

Diabetes Often Goes Undetected For a Very Long Time

It is estimated that 5.7 million people in the US alone have diabetes and don’t even know it. An estimated 50 million people have pre-diabetes. You should keep in mind that pre-diabetes is literally one tenth of a point away from being diagnosed with diabetes and health professionals don’t always agree on the cut-off point. Many people with pre-diabetes have no idea they are on the verge of getting diabetes. This information comes from the CDC which stands for the “Centers For Disease Control and Prevention,” a division of the US Department of Health and Human Services. This information is about as accurate as it gets since they are able to pull from several national medical databases.

Even Those Who Know They Are Diabetic Don’t Always Realize Just How Serious It Is

Ignorance is one of the biggest dangers of diabetes. This is especially true for diabetics that do not take insulin. They often don’t realize how serious they should take their illness. Some of them seem to think can take a pill or two every day and not worry about it after that. In fact, many family members should a great deal of frustration watching their diabetic loved one think all they have to do is take an extra pill before they go on a sugar binge. Nothing could be further from the truth but trying to convince some diabetics of this can be quite challenging.

Diabetics Die From the Complications of the Disease Rather Than the Disease Itself

Diabetes is an underlying metabolic disease that affects every system in your body. Therefore, diabetics suffer from many complications from the disease and they usually eventually die from one or more of these. If you get pancreatic cancer, you’ll likely die from pancreatic cancer. If you develop congestive heart failure, you’ll probably die from this. With diabetes, it doesn’t work this way exactly. You don’t die directly from diabetes but rather from the complications of the disease. If you have diabetes, you might die from heart disease, severe infection, kidney disease, or a combination thereof but not directly by diabetes. However, it was your diabetes that directly caused and/or exacerbated these complications. Death certificates don’t always mention diabetes even when that was the underlying cause of death, and for this reason, diabetes is a silent killer.

How Natural Hair Loss Shampoos Can Help Stop Hair Loss

New approaches to hair loss are available. Natural hair loss is an unfortunate part of many people’s lives and there are increasing research in creating a hair loss cure. Hair loss (alopecia) is often caused by circulating hormones in the body that can cause reduced blood flow, nutrient absorption, and thinning hair follicles.

There will be a time when we look in the mirror and the character looking back is displaying symptoms of losing that dazzling full layer upon layer of hair that developed into a considerable ingredient of our identity. The initial response will be astonishment perhaps followed by some exploration of possible ways to isolate the potential reasons for the hair loss.

The majority of experts in the discipline of balding suggest that a blood test or scalp biopsy should be done to determine if underlying circumstances such as elevated blood pressure, diabetes, lupus or any other medical conditions are the cause.

The scalp biopsy will make known the dimension of the hair follicles when viewed beneath a microscope. Dwindling hair follicles are a significant clue in reducing the possible reasons for hair loss. The leading possible cause being androgenetic alopecia.

Androgenetic alopecia, popularly referred to as male and female pattern balding, is the hair loss source for an astounding nine out of ten situations. Its final consequence is to put an end to hair follicles making new growth unfeasible without some kind of interference.

In men the model of balding is very identifiable with hair loss frequently starting at the forehead or on upper part of the head in the direction of the back. A slight case of male pattern balding in males is established by a minor bald spot that appears on the crown with a retreating hair line. Radical cases are acknowledged by all of the hair on the upper part of the head being lost with a little hair being retained on the sides and back of the head.

For women, it is a completely different scenario due to dihydrotestosterone concentrations in the hair cell and ranges in scalp enzyme and hormone patterning. For the majority of women, hair loss starts on the uppermost part of the head and is typically a thinning of the hair as opposed to a total loss of hair. The hairline is usually not affected.

Undoubtedly the reasons for hair loss are wide ranging. However, the preponderance of continuing and progressing cases is diagnosed to be male or female pattern baldness. There are presently a small amount of hair re-growth products available which have been confirmed successful in both blocking destructive hormones and bringing the vital dead hair follicles back to life. To learn more about natural hair loss treatment and prevention Zenagen website is a patent-pending natural hair loss shampoo website and information.

These types of products may be used in cooperation as a preventative tool, if used early and prior to acute hair loss, or subsequent to noticeable loss of hair. Whatever the stage of balding or thinning you are experiencing specific products may perhaps be required to defeat this latest challenge.

In androgenetic alopecia, the genes influence how the hair grows. They activate an indifference to a class of hormones called androgens such as testosterone and the related hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which reduces the hair follicles. Decreasing follicles create thinner hair and ultimately none at all.

Consequently, androgenetic alopecia is the result of the body’s decrease of producing new hairs and not due to extreme hair loss. Heredity also plays a part in the age at which you start to lose hair as well as the rate, pattern and degree of your baldness.
