Insomnia is a common problem for many people. Insomnia can be caused many factors such as stress, poor diet and eating habits, changes in work and school schedule, and others. If you do not want to become addicted to sleeping pills and medication there are natural ways to help your insomnia and make it a thing of the past. Some of us have suffered with insomnia occasionally and a bad night when you can not sleep occur.
One ways to start helping you sleep better is eliminating caffeine from your day. There are also relaxation techniques a person can do is turning on some relaxation music, no televison before bed because this can stimulate the mind, avoid drinking alcohol before bed, try going to the bathroom before bed, getting up at regular times everyday will keep you on a nice schedule, stay away from working on homework at least an hour before bed, keep your bedroom temps at a comfortable state, avoid eating snack like chips and chocolates before bed, and last but not least DO NOT look at the clock. This will only make you worry more on how many hours of sleep you have left.
