Health professionals often suggest, for cancer cases, that an increase in fresh vegetables and fruit, along with a reduction in animal fats is preferred. The fats should be more than nuts than meats, especially cashew nuts, almonds, hazelnuts etc. Almonds are particularly recommended.

The body also requires special fats that, among other important functions, make it possible for sufficient oxygen to reach the cells via the cellular membranes. Experiments have shown that the prime, most basic, cause of cancer is too little oxygen getting into the cell.
